Pros: despite being over motor court, room was very quiet, everything was well designed, staff was extremely helpful, bathroom was tremendous, restaurant was great. Very little (if anything) to actually complain about. Top-notch.

Pros: We spent 6 nights at the Mondrian with our older kids. The hotel has a great location near the best sights. Great waterfront views. We had drinks at the bars that have great cocktails and views. The rooms very modern with good quality sheets. My kids loves that their was a movie theatre in the hotel. Highly recommend!!

Pros: Outstanding hotel in London. Service, room, amenities, restaurants and bars were all excellent. Beautiful view of the Thames. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to London. I can't say enough about our experience at the Mondrian.
Cons: The only disappointment was one of the concierges seemed inexperienced. She booked us at a very mediocre tea service at a restaurant in London.

Pros: After reading so many reviews I was expecting bit more from this hotel. I felt like its somewhere between 4 star to 4.5 star hotel. I didn't have too many complaints, everything was smooth from check in and out taking only 30 seconds to comfortable beds etc but i think having lived in other 5 star hotels it felt like little bit less than I was desiring for.
Cons: The room was clean but may be the room layout was not up to my liking. I felt it was darker with less lighting and dark layouts

Pros: The hotel was trendy, modern and comfortable. Located only ten minutes walk to Liverpool Street station the location was very easy to get to and handy to bars in Shoreditch. The staff were all incredibly polite and helpful and made the room extra special for my patterns birthday. The room comes with mood lighting, a scent and a Nespresso machine. The aviary rooftop bar has a cool vibe with a DJ at the weekend & great views of London.
Cons: The bathroom floor looked like it had splashed on it although the rest of the bathroom was spotless.

Cons: It was odd that we played bar game on the fri evening and my husband was given the sliders no problem, but when our guest (who was staying in the hotel too) went to play on the sat night he was asked to leave a £10 deposit .

Pros: Awesome hotel in the cut of the busy Times Square area of London. Easy to get to by train from the airport as you just take it to Picadilly Circus station and walk 5 mins. Near all of the action and nightclubs. Clean. Great free wine and cheese happy hour. Wonderful gem of a hotel.
Cons: Rooms are fairly small which didn't bother me as I am a single small female traveling alone but its not suited for couples or bringing children. Its a closet sized room.

Pros: Extremely tidy, practical, and functional. The staff bend over backwards to help with any little thing. The location can’t be beat — I walked to the British Museum in under half an hour, and just around the corner to Her Majest’s Theatre for Phantom. My room was quiet and windowless but I’m fine with small spaces; if you’re not traveling alone, you may feel cramped.
Cons: There wasn’t a thing I didn’t like about this hotel. When I return to London I’ll book it again.

Pros: The location was excellent. The design and materials of the room are modern and quality. It was very clean and there was a clear focus on quality. The towels were as soft and huge as any hotel I've been in. the TV was huge relative to the size of the room. The bathroom fixtures were all very nice and the toiletries were also nice. If you are willing to trade a lot of space for a lower price (well, lower price for London) then this can be a value. It's also good if you plan not to spend much time in the hotel as it's comfortable for sleeping.
Cons: The reason the rooms are affordable is because the rooms are tiny. Seriously tiny...as in your bed spans the whole distance of a wall. There is no closet at all, and unless you get one of the larger rooms you'll have to put your luggage on the floor as there are no luggage racks. That's a bitt of a challenge because the "floor" is really the walkway from the bed area to the bathroom so you'll be walking around your own luggage. If you are a business traveler and need desk space it's very limited or absent. I had one room with a very small desk and another where I had to use the nightstand as a desk. The rooms are relatively dark even if the windows are open because they open to a narrow light well/courtyard. Perhaps there is more light on higher floor levels.

Cons: The have a small check in desk in the middle of the cafe which was crowded when I arrived. I have had to wait for longer than 10 minutes to check in and check out. They seem a little disorganized at the front and could use a proper reception area.

Pros: Reception staff were really good, consierge was equally as good. Nice welcome, and fire in lobby. A lady in the restaurant for breakfast was very good, I think her name was Pam.
Cons: Breakfast was really not great, firstly the lady who seated us, asked if we wanted coffee and toast, then none arrived had to ask again for it, same with ordering some porridge it came 15 minutes later, but was like gruel, quite surprised that a 5 star hotel kitchen can't make porridge. Overall a little bit too structured and formal, but lacked professionalism in the restaurant.

We had an issue with the A/C in the first room on the first night and the hotel moved us to another room and everything was in order there. We only had the included minibar fully stocked once during the 6-night stay and only after mentioning it to the front desk. The minibar was restocked with drinks one more time but the food items were not restocked. Not sure if the hotel only includes one restocking or if it was supposed to be restocked daily. This was included with the rate we paid, I think it was the 'deluxe' package. It's a great hotel but I would say it is more of a 4+ star hotel. It seems the A/C units need updating or repair, the faucets in the bathroom are worn from cleaning so much and our spout was loose, the wood top near the tea-making facilities was warped from prior water damage. We have stayed here 5 or 6 times now over the past few years and the TV in the bathroom has never worked, but we don't use it so it's never been a deal-breaker. It is hit or miss if you get a room with working heated towel racks and/or heated bathroom floors. We love the location, the lobby, the staff, the bar, the breakfast, the courtyard/gardens, etc. It's one of our go-to hotels to stay at when we can afford it. You won't be disappointed if you do stay here. Just make sure to mention any issues with the staff and they will do their best to get it taken care of.

Pros: Stayed in a king suite . View from the room was fantastic and the absolutely stunning at night. The room was spacious and comfortable with very nicely appointed furniture and bed. The bathroom with the heated floor was very nice surprise. Doorman was wonderfully welcoming, the bellboys were quick and helpful and the concierge was professional and always pleasant and patient.
Cons: I asked for an early check in which wasn't possible and I understood this. However, when I returned at the regular check in time, the receptionist without checking with anyone, insisted the room still wasn't ready. Had to ask for the manager, who after checking with housekeeping, found the room was ready. Receptionist was not happy at being contradicted and was less than pleasant for the rest of the check-in process. Not offered breakfast discount on check-in so would have paid substantially more if I hadn't found out about the discount by accident. Stayed two nights. Mini-fridge was not restocked the second day. Took 45 minutes to get a bucket of ice and then felt guilty for asking for it when we found out the poor guy doing room service was the only one on duty. Seems like the hotel needs to amp up the staff numbers to provide the five star service you're paying for.

Pros: Location is perfect for the theater district. Staff is very friendly and accommodating indeed. Hotel is very elegant, a bit formal. Could be intimidating for a tourist from the US west.
Cons: Got a good room rate, but drinks, tea, and breakfast were as expensive as you'd expect from a 5 star central London hotel. We ended up changing our room twice -- the first time at the suggestion of the bellman, because it didn't have any view. The second room had a view but was way smaller than the other, and had no bath tub. We were moved a third time at our request and got a wonderful room (but without a river view). The staff made both moves very easy indeed.

Pros: The rooms were comfortable and we had a lovely view of the river and the lighted ferris wheel. The staff were courteous, professional, and responsive. The location is great. The concierge was quite helpful. Breakfast was great but if we had not obtained a good price including breakfast, the a la carte cost of adding on breakfast would not have been worth it. The hotel is lovely and we hope to stay there again.
Cons: For about half of our stay the hotel telephone system was not working. The sink in one of our rooms was quite high and uncomfortable for our elder and short relative.

Pros: We booked this friend to stay overnight as our friends were having their wedding at The Ballroom in Park Plaza. Thank god the wedding was good, because that was the only good thing about this hotel!!
Cons: As we were part of the bridal group we contacted the hotel months, weeks and even the day before check in to request an early check in, that never happened!! As an apology because our hair and make up artist was standing in reception, we were only upgraded for 2 of the 4 rooms. During and after the wedding, we got stuck in the lift (which was already broken but not decommissioned) no apology from the evening staff and no acknowledgement of their errors, rather I am told "I am done talking to you". After our party having spent tens and thousands of pounds, this is the treatment we received. No compensation and no complimentary offers to any of us.

Pros: The only thing good about this hotel for my situation was the location.
Cons: Reception at the front desk were poorely skilled. Absolutely no communication between them and the customer about how the room is/was going to be. I paid for a room which I thought I was going to receive a decent room with a view. Instead I got a dark closet room with a very small window of the inside of the building, was not worth the ridiculous price per night. I would compare my room to a youth hostel, pretty much just a place to lay my head, nothing more, nothing less.

Pros: I would never recommend or go back to this hotel. Horrible value should have stayed at the Four Seasons for an extra 50.00 a night
Cons: This was one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in a very long time. The hotel was very poorly represented about who they are as a brand, quality of hotel, and by far not valued at 4 or 5 stars as they claim to be. Our first room was a deluxe with tower view. The carpet had tears in it, we had a leaky faucet, and later that evening we discovered the air conditioning didn't work. After many discussions with the front desk their solution was to move us to a twin bed room and put a fan in the room to cool it down. While moving our bags at 11;30 PM the bellman told us this happens quite often and they don't have maintenance on staff anymore. Having worked in hospitality and hotels all my career this is a clear sign to me that the hotel doesn't value their service levels. When having a hotel of over 700 rooms without maintenance on staff you're going to consistently have unhappy customers with service failures. I urge them to put this job back on payroll as it will help your service records considerably. After 3 phone calls the manager on duty Marga was helpful and compd breakfast and upgraded us to a suite the next night. These are all nice but it seemed like we were having to explain to them they needed to do something rather than them being apologetic about the horrible situation of our room and the huge inconvencice.

Pros: I began laughing and celebrating my good fortune the minute I opened the door to my room at the Tower Hotel. The wall opposite the door had a large picture window with the most incredible view of the wharf and Tower Bridge! I couldn’t believe how wonderful the location of this hotel was and how nice my room was. A short walk to the bridge itself, the Tower of London was next door. A short walk to the Tube station and a sightseeing boat that boards in front of the hotel. Friendly, competent hotel staff and a comfy room. You’d think it would be noisy so close to the bridge, but not a problem. Good blackout curtains too! Great stay!
Cons: Hotel breakfast was fine, but there are also good options on St. Katherine’s Docks just behind the hotel. There is also a Tesco store and a Starbucks for even more options. Both are within the block of the hotel.

Pros: The location of this hotel is unbelievable! It literally sits right on the Thames river, and the view of the Tower bridge is stunning!! Not to mention it’s incredibly beautiful on the inside, it has fantastic amenities and the restaurant inside is wonderful! It’s also a very simple walk across the bridge to the other side to get to the Tower of London and a plethora of other restaurants and shopping venues. The cost was incredibly low for what type of hotel this is, and I will absolutely recommend anyone to stay here for a gorgeous and accessible view of London!!
Cons: The parking garage is relatively small, so if you’re driving in your own car on the weekend, be aware. We had a hard time parking.

Pros: My stay was excellent! The staff were wonderful and the hotel itself is very well kept. The decor and amenities give off a really high-end vibe. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade on check in. We also received a bottle of champagne after mentioning that it was the end of our honeymoon in the U.K. We ate at the restaurant associated with the hotel and the food was excellent. I can't thank the staff enough for what a good experience we had. It really made the end of our trip special.
Cons: Hotel is in the financial district and is kinda out of the way on the weekends. Upside is cheap and good breakfast during the week for all the business folks. If you are feeling more spendy, the hotel restaurant is really good.

Pros: Beautiful facility. Clean, modern and spacious room. Outstanding, friendly staff. Quiet and comfortabl bed. Both restaurants were fantastic--excellent food, really top notch.

Pros: It was my birthday . There was birthday cake in my room on arrival, we d also asked for a room with a view, our room was over looking the Shard. This was great as my birthday treat was diner at the Shard. Pool and gym was great. Being able to leave our bags before and after check in was great.

Pros: The staff was helpful. Facilities were fresh looking and nice albeit the showers were a bit tight. This is hostel living with 8 in a room on bunks.
Cons: Rooms were very warm despite opening the windows and it being cool in the evenings.

Pros: We went on a weekend away because he had tickets to see Harry Potter and the cursed child, which the hotel was a short five minute walk away which was great for me and my friend to get there as it was over 2 nights.
Cons: However we were never informed that there was to be building works happening throughout February. This resulted in there being no room for a reception desk and little to do in the hotel as everything was cordened off. As for the rooms, they were small and dated, they also didn't have much of a blind for the windows. As there has been a neon lit build finished across the street from the hotel, the room was lit up all night. To add to this there was a false fire alarm at 4am in the morning which no one came to inform us about but we could barely hear it from our room. The shower cubicle was really small with a really powerful shower that wasn't pleasant and to top everything we had a cockroach crawl into our room just before our departure that resided under our bed. All in all multiple things went wrong with our stay and I wouldn't recommend.

Pros: Location is very central, across the road from a tube station and right next to Oxford St for shopping.
Cons: Room was small, perfect for travelling as only really in the room to sleep. Was disappointed that the pool was shut for renovations while I was staying as I wasn't aware of this when booking.

Cons: Poorly operating lifts. Bathroom so small. TV inoperable. WiFi requires £5 payment daily by purchasing a code from a vending machine. Long lines at check in. Long line at luggage check/collection. Never again!

Pros: Spent about a week in London and stayed at the St. Giles. No regrets. Close to the West End action and much cheaper than some in the area. This hotel is also frequented by bus tours - Ugh. The room was good though small (almost Japanese hotel room small). We did not partake of their restaurants and went to a much, much better buffet down the street for breakfast. Concierge staff was very helpful

Cons: No toiletries or fridge. Tiny double bed in awkwardly shaped room. In Europe it would have been marked up as a no frills business hotel and would have cost far less.

Pros: 24 h Reception Breakfast included in general very silent room amazing location, close to Holborn as well as Tottenham Hale Station (15 min walk)
Cons: beds are especially for tall people too small (app. 1.90) at 11 pm suddenly some works caused quite some noise for several minutes (i.e. if you want to sleep early may be impossible)
