The accomodation is too small for the amount of people. We had to wait to be able to have a coffee... we had to wait 15 min before we go to the bar in the evening... full they said however there was space. And the next morning again wait to have a table at breakfast
My wife had an exam, which I let the hotel know about. However, Mollie from customer relations put a good luck card in our room, with complimentary cocktails. Only a small touch but above and beyond what I was expecting and was really appreciated.
The decor and interior is stunning! The fact that the hotel is very close to Russell Sq tube station was very helpful for us. I also liked the view on Russell Sq and found the police sirens at night not disturbing.
I would have expected the buffet at breakfast to be richer and sometimes felt sorry for the waiters, they seemed very busy. If should travel with my youngest kid again, I think I would choose a family friendly hotel to have more kids‘ choices in the buffet, bananas or nutella would have been helpful for instance.
Staff was very welcome, comfy bed, good breakfast choice.
