Pros: Friendly staff, great food and awesome, clean accommodation! Couldn't fault anything other than the unfortunate event of load shedding.
Cons: Unfortunately they don't have a generator to power all the rooms which is understandable however they didn't have any back up battery powered lights for example to help out during load shedding.

Pros: The fact that you can get a dinner of that quality on site is fantastic.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Linda, the friendly and efficient front of house, was most helpful and even offered a ground floor room without us asking when she noticed me limping as she was concerned that the stairs to the first-floor room which was intended for us might pose a problem. Chef Natasha's food was fantastic.! What impressed was that unlike other fine dining experiences my wife and I had at other restaurants, the courses were not only delicious but the portions were also generous. The Cajun Pork Neck I had for my main course was the best I have ever had. My wife was equally satisfied with her Blue CheeseBeef Fillet Medallion. The Chocolate Lava Pot we both had was to die for. The Salmond Roses we had as breakfast starters were a pleasant surprise and are highly recommended.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were very clean. Staff excellent and attentive. Lovely setting.
Cons: There was an issue with the plumbing noisy but this was reported to management.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Bed was extra comfy - love the spaciousness and the real old world chard
Cons: Would like my bill sorted with correct information as specified up front - ready for when I leave the next morning - communication link from website / or bookings.com to hotel staff seems to be non existent
9,5 Excellent
Pros: This place is like a hidden gem, tucked away among the trees. From the entrance gate you wouldn't expect what's hidden beyond. Small and quiet. Huge comfortable bathroom. I like that it has both bath & shower. Very good service. Very friendly staff. Excellent food.
Cons: My only gripe - is the difficulty to get a tax/uber. Be prepared for a wait a while or use your own car. Quite a distance from the seafront, so no sea views here.

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The staff is outstanding and so accommodating. Two of us were competing in Ironman South Africa. The location was perfect--the hotel is on the run course. Hosts Alan and Josephine bent over backwards to help us prepare for the big day including making us a private and DELICIOUS dinner that met our pre-race diet restrictions. When we finally crawled back to the hotel after the race, a beautiful cake congratulating all the athletes awaited. We sent out our smelly post-race gear for laundry service and it came back fresh and folded. The pool and back patio are lovely and peaceful, and a pleasant spot for a nap. We really enjoyed our stay and would return! Thank you for a wonderful stay Alan, Josephine, Dinette, Geraldine and staff! PS best restaurants are on Stanley Street!

Pros: The staff was very friendly, The location of the place was good, close to shops and beach.
Cons: We had two luxury double/twin rooms due to the family size, the one(201) modern room, was good the other(206) not modern, was run down, the rooms need to be checked regularly to see if any maintenance needs to be done.

Pros: A confortable and convenient stay, close to all the main amenities in Summerstrand. Great breakfast! Attention to detail, like beach towels, the dvd library and umbrellas makes for a great stay. The rooms are spacious and well equipped.
Cons: We booked quite late, as we had a change of plans quite late in the day. The staff was a bit annoyed with us showing up only 15 minutes before the front desk closed. However, the reason for us arriving so late was beyond our control due to delayed flights etc. Not the best start in terms of service and attitude, but once we arrived at the property things improved drastically.

Pros: Staff very friendly and supportive. Excellent decoration. Beautiful place, very quiet and very clean!
Cons: It was perfect!, nothing to complain.

Pros: I liked everthing... Th food, the look of the place, staff assistance was excellent.
Cons: The towels were smelly, cups and glasses not cleaned properly
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Quaint and cute property very close to the sea front. Very glad we chose it over standard hotel options. Front desk people were helpful and friendly. Beds were comfortable and large.
Cons: Some of the beautiful looking furniture in the bedrooms looked fabulous but did not score high on comfort to sit. Perhaps consider adding another chair or two in the bedroom that would be comfy as the only place left to sit was the bed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: They have out done themselves with the deco of the place. Its so beautiful - its got such an international feel
Cons: Absolutely nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room set up n r got r free desert as I was there to celebrate my birthday
Cons: Food was nice n it was so clean n neat n tidy. The only problem was no WI fi.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Large clean rooms with superb food and friendly staff
Cons: I have stayed over in 3 rooms now at Singa over the past 3 months and the beds need to be upgraded, difficult to get a good night’s sleep on those low hard mattresses.
7,0 Good
Pros: The ease of booking and communication was good. The staff were very enthusiastic.
Cons: The rooms are tired. They need more help than just a few scatter cushions.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff gave a warm welcome expecting our arrival. They made some special arrangements for our stay that were very nice.
Cons: The place was fantastic. But I could see that there was some needed repairs here and there. But our experience was excellent.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The Singa Lodge is situated close to PE airport and perfect for a 1 night stay if in transit. It is also close to a boardwalk along the picturesque coastal beachfront for a morning walk. The staff were friendly and professional. The included breakfast in the room rate was excellent. Great value for money.
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: I liked nothing, I was not impressed at all. the only bright spot about the place is the helpfulness of the staff despite them being constrained. I was particularly irked by the lack of communication and inaccessibility by phone of the place. No-one bothered to check about our whereabouts and we wasted a lot our limited resources , trying to locate the place because of the uncaring attitude of the owner who did not even acknowledge our presence during breakfast. Her attitude and demeanour bordered on the racist attitude. I have never been so treated as I am nothing before as I believe that my money speaks not my race. Thanks for nothing.
Cons: Everything , the whole uncaring and unwelcoming treatment by the owner who seemed to think a welcoming, warm attitude should be reserved only for Whites.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: Friendliness of staff, ease of check in. Location
Cons: The bed was too low. Shower had no curtains or partition ; awkward entrance to shower and toilet (step up and a bath in the middle.

Pros: It was raining the whole time so we were indoors most of the time and we did not walk. Unit is well maintained and the area is quiet. Quality furniture, well equipped and everything was working, a big bonus nowadays
Cons: The unit was advertised @ R1195/d but we were charged R1395/d. by you. Please refund R600. Thunzi Lodge claims that the amount charged came from your side
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The view from our deck was incredible. We had our own exclusive barbeque area. It was very secluded which is exactly what we needed. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely go back.
Cons: There were no picnic baskets available so i think it is better to call in advance to book for this.
5,8 Okay
Pros: For the price you pay, a breakfast should have been included. The balcony view was just bush, would have been nice to have this cleared to get a proper view.
Cons: The pillows were extremely uncomfortable and the duvet inner was very thin. Lighting in the room could have been brighter. My husband hit his leg on the shower door, which was sharp enough to cut his knee open!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We really enjoyed our visit although I think I had a different view of what it would be like based on the photos I had seen. I expected it to be much more wild and for it to be smaller with just a couple of lodges hidden amongst the trees. It was still very enjoyable and the kids loved the pool. The sand dunes 5 minutes down the road by the beach were stunning.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The views and bush walk was amazing. We loved how peaceful everything was. We booked a picnic spot which was secluded and cosy.
Cons: The bed and pillows were not comfortable.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The scenery was gorgeous
Cons: Little too bushy around the chalet
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The privacy of our cabin was wonderful. Staff was very considerate and waited until we left the unit before they cleaned. Only problem was that our unit had 3 ceiling fans of which only one worked, we did report it but it was not fix. Luckily there was an ac in the unit. The walk was beautiful as were the pool area en the dams. Units are very private which just adds to the wonderful ambiance of Thunzi We had a stunning view from both living area and our room. The braai area was also very nice. Thank you Thunzi for a great stay
Cons: A bit more info on arrival with regards to what the lodge could provide. A bit more knowledge of birds and trees in the area would have been nice. And if you really want to add something, a bit of help with off loading would have been nice.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: The facilities have everything and anything that you can imagine. The location is beautiful and scenic. The staff are on point. Picturesque. Perfect place for family and friends.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent

Place is next to the beach, one can literally walk to beach. I will recommend this Place to my friends too. Keep up the good work.

6,5 Good
Pros: room, laundry and staff whom is responsible for making up the room is very poor!
9,3 Excellent
Pros: It’s 5 star so it’s beautiful, good facilities
Cons: Some staff were friendly, but there was a bit of an unhappy or unfriendly vibe amongst others... certainly not a “warm” atmosphere. The heated pool had way to much chemicals in it
9,5 Excellent
Pros: Super comfy bed and wonderful view!
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location is prime & on the beachfront with loads of restaurants, take aways and cafes around. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and well presented.

9,5 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Cons: The bathroom sink wasn't very clean
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Views over the ocean. Clean room. Lovely bath. Bed comfy.
Cons: Coffee cup was cracked. Shower was not consistently warm. People smoked on their balconies and it came into my room.
9,5 Excellent
Pros: This hotel is pure 5 star luxury, for an affordable rate! Most staff is very professional and very attentive.
Cons: There was no restaurant so we had to go outside but then we were advised The Ginger which is just a 2 minute walk which must be the best restaurant in PE!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Seaviews
7,0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: No clean towels on certain days & they never give face cloths. Long queue for breakfast on Sunday morning (we waited for 30minutes in line to enter the breakfast area). Non-hotel guests are given the same waiting line as hotel guests. Breakfast over the weekend was very poor, with half cooked bacon, brown pineapple and overworked staff. The gym is very poor - There is a broken all-in-one, mini-gym cable machine, a few dumbbells that range between 4-14kg and some cardio machines. The maintenance on the property seems to lack as the air conditioner didn’t work in the gym nor does the clock. Lunch in the lobby lounge was very disappointing and definitely not value for money. All-in-all this trip was quite disappointing, as our previous visit in the beginning of the year was perfect! A side note: Sibongile was a star and made sure that we received the best coffees.
9,5 Excellent
Cons: No European electrical plugs were working in the room

9,5 Excellent
Pros: The location
Cons: Service can sometime be slack.
9,3 Excellent
Pros: The room was brilliant with a most amazing sea view. The dinner was great and the breakfast the next morning was superb.
Cons: The bathroom in our room ah a raised level to the bath & hand basin. The floors are white tiles and it was difficult to distinguish where the steps were if you went into the bathroom at night and did not switch on the light. There was enough ambient light to not have to switch on the light if you simply wanted to pop in during the night without switching on the light. Maybe a bit of luminous tape on the edge would make the stairs a little bit more distinct.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very Nice, the staff, the lounge area was lovely to sit in, the bedroom cosy and comfortable, the breakfast lovely.
Cons: My only complaint I couldn't charge my phone the 2 point plug wasn't working, but everything else was great.

Pros: Very clean and new rooms. Nice gardens with pool etc. Friendly and very kind reception staff!!

Room service left our room with open windows and switched the lights (so many flies inside and it was really visible for our laptops and ipad in room)..
