7,5 Good
Pros: We booked the Classic double room and it was larger than expected. High ceilings and large bathroom. Beautiful views of Pretoria. The hotel has amazing 360 views. Beautiful romantic Tuscan building high up on a hill on a beautiful upmarket suburb. We had dinner at the Brasserie de Paris across the street, which was very convenient.
Cons: I felt that the buffet continental section of the breakfast was a bit sad and minimal but the warm a-la-carte breakfast part was ok. The staff was friendly and quick to attended to our requests quickly, even late in the evening which was great (e.g. dstv was not working and my robe did not seem clean), but it felt like the staff/management on the day needed a bit more 'hotel' training. It would elevate the hotel.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular view! Magnificent gardens! Really enjoyed our dinner in the onsite restaurant (fettucine with chorizo was delicious), the chef came out to ask how were our meals which was a lovely touch. Friendly staff. Was located in the neighborhood of the International Embassies so very security conscious, although the lack of footpaths & not great street lighting made us choose not to walk after dark to find local restaurants (I have no idea if there are any nearby). HUGE room & HUGE bathroom, although both quite dimly lit which made packing bags & putting on makeup difficult. The room had French doors onto an outdoor seating area which would have been lovely to sit & enjoy on a warmer night. Very quiet overall especially considering the place was fully booked, we saw only 2 other parties.
Cons: For those with mobility issues please ensure you request a room which doesn't have stairs access. The sloping block means great views but also lots of stairs. Our room was located outside the main building's front doors & down a tight steep staircase with no lift access, which meant to get into the hotel for meals there was the steep stairs up to ground level then the stairs to front door. Not an issue for us but others may need to be aware. Lack of atmosphere. Was very very quiet in public areas, the reception staff spoke in hushed voices like you'd use in church. Could do with some background music to warm the place up a bit. Could also do with some outdoor patio heaters for outdoor dining area during cooler months. Dining room/breakfast room was TINY with really only 2 or 3 tables, so for dinner we ate outdoors. There's an undercover area as well as open air, but neither had any form of heating.

Pros: I really liked the house, the furniture, the shower and the view. Very calm area with sounds of birds and wildlife. The hospitality of the personell was great.
Cons: I did not like the cleanliness of this hotel. There was no clean cups and was pretty dusty overall. The coffee at the room was outdated since 2014 and the coffee we got to our breakfast was with a old bad french press, so the coffee grounds went through the filter. There were 2 burnt lightbulbs in the room and one flickering light in the bathroom.

Cons: Prepayed and confirmed a reservation through Kayak and when I arrived at the hotel after a 17 hour flight from the US they did not have any rooms available even though kayak sent me a confirmation. Pros: The folding door between bathroom and bed room and breakfast. That's it!!!!
Cons: Dismal service, too many frequent calls to our room, no clear communication regarding requested additional check out time to the extra money that was no thoroughly explained, dirty pool and stated in the letter that the restaurant is closed only to see people sitting and eating. I mean I asked the receptionist to warm up our food, she told me to bring the food. When I did, she said I should wait, I requested an ice bucket as well, she warmed up the food, put the food and ice bucket onto a tray and gave them to me to take up for myself!!!! That is honestly sad and I hope I was the first and last customer to experience that because your establishment is beautiful and has so much potential

10,0 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast was tops as always although the juices tasted SUPER diluted EVERY single morning. too much water in there or ice, but no taste...n no it was not my toothpaste, lol. Also the dinner is not like it was made by the old school chefs... the stews tasted more like soups were added to the curry...not tasty. Also the veggie pastas had too much tomato paste in it...looked and tasted like the spaghettis from the koo tin range. I understand hotels are trying to be cost effective, but the carvery was the best from every single dinner, the carbs just didn't do it for me together with the stew/curries.

Large spacious quite quite rooms, Superfast WiFi!! Safe Free parking in Basement! Made us aware of our safety outside the Hotel, what to do and what NOT to do! We had Dinner in Bruno's Restaurant, Christoffer such a lovely warm waiter, we had a lovely evening! THANKS TO ALL at Centurion Hotel
Cons: Come to think about it, nothing at all!!
5,8 Okay
Cons: We were a group of 8 along with small kids and traveling since last 7-8 hours. Due to some misunderstanding between the Hotel and our travel agent payment was not done to the hotel beforehand, though booking was done. They kept us waiting in the hotel lobby for two hours until somebody from the travel agency arrived. We were ready to deposit our passports and credit card , so that we can at least go inside the rooms and relax. But they were adamant and we had a difficult time. So, it would be advisable to check before your arrival regarding the payment.
5,0 Okay
Cons: I have stayed in this hotel a number of times. The first time was amazing (huge clean room) Over the years each room that I was allocated had drainage issues... Either a blocked toilet or a blocked bath or sink The carpets and chairs are very dirty and feel and look dirty. There was a dead cockroach in the passage way. TV remote was sticky to the touch. Very upset with the decline in standards. I did experience better a couple of years ago.
7,1 Good
Pros: No power upon arrival. Breakfast was great
5,8 Okay
Pros: Good location relative to work in centurion. Breakfast food was tasty but disorganised. Bar and Pool area has good ambience and well priced drinks.
Cons: One level up from a window rattler air conditioner, ridiculously noisy all night. Rooms in dire need of a re-fresh.
7,5 Good
Cons: Hotel has seen better days and may need some refurbishment. However, staff is overwhelmingly friendly and helpful.
7,5 Good
Pros: Very well situated for shopping entertainment and business Very friendly staff and management. The atmosphere at the hotel is very good.
Cons: Construction at the mall is spoiling the current view. This is also polluting the lake. I suppose it is not Hotel managements responsibility.
