7,5 Good
Pros: We booked the Classic double room and it was larger than expected. High ceilings and large bathroom. Beautiful views of Pretoria. The hotel has amazing 360 views. Beautiful romantic Tuscan building high up on a hill on a beautiful upmarket suburb. We had dinner at the Brasserie de Paris across the street, which was very convenient.
Cons: I felt that the buffet continental section of the breakfast was a bit sad and minimal but the warm a-la-carte breakfast part was ok. The staff was friendly and quick to attended to our requests quickly, even late in the evening which was great (e.g. dstv was not working and my robe did not seem clean), but it felt like the staff/management on the day needed a bit more 'hotel' training. It would elevate the hotel.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Spectacular view! Magnificent gardens! Really enjoyed our dinner in the onsite restaurant (fettucine with chorizo was delicious), the chef came out to ask how were our meals which was a lovely touch. Friendly staff. Was located in the neighborhood of the International Embassies so very security conscious, although the lack of footpaths & not great street lighting made us choose not to walk after dark to find local restaurants (I have no idea if there are any nearby). HUGE room & HUGE bathroom, although both quite dimly lit which made packing bags & putting on makeup difficult. The room had French doors onto an outdoor seating area which would have been lovely to sit & enjoy on a warmer night. Very quiet overall especially considering the place was fully booked, we saw only 2 other parties.
Cons: For those with mobility issues please ensure you request a room which doesn't have stairs access. The sloping block means great views but also lots of stairs. Our room was located outside the main building's front doors & down a tight steep staircase with no lift access, which meant to get into the hotel for meals there was the steep stairs up to ground level then the stairs to front door. Not an issue for us but others may need to be aware. Lack of atmosphere. Was very very quiet in public areas, the reception staff spoke in hushed voices like you'd use in church. Could do with some background music to warm the place up a bit. Could also do with some outdoor patio heaters for outdoor dining area during cooler months. Dining room/breakfast room was TINY with really only 2 or 3 tables, so for dinner we ate outdoors. There's an undercover area as well as open air, but neither had any form of heating.

Pros: Wonderful place in a calm area close to the train station Hatfield with a shopping centre and restaurants on walking distance. The garden and pool areas is also nice if it is + 30 degrees. If you come with a car it is easy to park. I will go back and this was far better than an expensive hotel in Pretoria.

Pros: So peaceful. Extremely comfortable and the rooms are exquisite n so neat.
Cons: There could have been a better display n variety of breakfast. Also, the establishment is very quite, so when you need something, there's no-one around & there aren't any phones in the rooms to call for room service assistance. 6,3 Good
Pros: I really liked the house, the furniture, the shower and the view. Very calm area with sounds of birds and wildlife. The hospitality of the personell was great.
Cons: I did not like the cleanliness of this hotel. There was no clean cups and was pretty dusty overall. The coffee at the room was outdated since 2014 and the coffee we got to our breakfast was with a old bad french press, so the coffee grounds went through the filter. There were 2 burnt lightbulbs in the room and one flickering light in the bathroom.
10,0 Excellent

Cons: Prepayed and confirmed a reservation through Kayak and when I arrived at the hotel after a 17 hour flight from the US they did not have any rooms available even though kayak sent me a confirmation. There is a huge lack of proper communication between organizations. When traveling overseas don't trust kayak to work! Make sure to call the hotel to advise availability!

Cons: They don't have cocktails
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: The folding door between bathroom and bed room and breakfast. That's it!!!!
Cons: Dismal service, too many frequent calls to our room, no clear communication regarding requested additional check out time to the extra money that was no thoroughly explained, dirty pool and stated in the letter that the restaurant is closed only to see people sitting and eating. I mean I asked the receptionist to warm up our food, she told me to bring the food. When I did, she said I should wait, I requested an ice bucket as well, she warmed up the food, put the food and ice bucket onto a tray and gave them to me to take up for myself!!!! That is honestly sad and I hope I was the first and last customer to experience that because your establishment is beautiful and has so much potential

Pros: The staff were very accommodating especially with my special meal requirements. They definitely performed beyond expectations. I would gladly recommend and promote your facility.
Cons: I would have liked to know that they are offering a shuttle service from the venue to anywhere in Centurion. It is not a complaint but if they had told me it would have added so much value to my stay.

Cons: Claimed to be wheelchair friendly but husband is a paraplegic and was not suitable
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The fireplaces were great...rustic feeling I liked the gardens, unspoiled beauty taking one back in time. Snacks for the conference venues were different and creative eg. popcorn, crisps.
Cons: Space out the metal chairs in the conference venue - very cumbersome to manouvre Breakfast can improve by adding chicken or lamb [sausages] on the menu ... otherwise everything was perfect. The bantam roosters need to be on a leash ... tend to be on attacking mode

7,9 Good
Pros: I asked them for a romantic setup and they went beyond my expectation on that one, I was really impressed at how they handled all our requests and the spa treatments were amazing
Cons: the bath was not 100% clean when we got there but I assumed it was just because most people don't really bath in a hotel, they mostly shower
7,1 Good
Pros: i like the central location
Cons: i felt the breakfast was limited in the variety of items. i think there could be better preperations made for halaal meals that wouldn't necessarily have to cost more. There were no face cloths in the bathroom and we had to request it for both evenings.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location is very good and in an isolated area. The atmosphere is cool. A water feature at the entrance of the restaurant is good and the dim lights at night were good. The room was big enough and the lights inside were like theatre. I hooked into this hotel because the usual onr was fully booked. Now I've decided to make this one my usual one.
Cons: There's nothing to dislike there. It was a cold evening, but that's not arranged by the Hotel. A warmer in the restaurant could have made things better.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: All services are good when requested
Cons: staff are friendly only if I make the effort to greet first then they respond and return greeting. Some seem apprehensive but I say hello or greet they then respond. If I don’t greet some staff don’t say anything. This applies to all including management.

2,5 Mediocre
Pros: The spa was top class and the staff in general was very friendly.
Cons: We payed premium price for our room, only to receive a self catering of sort bungalow unit. The carpets had the most horrible stains on them and the bathroom was an absolute joke... small and stuffy. The couch was worn and the front door of the unit could not lock. When we tried to make use of the restaurant services we where told it was booked out for a function, so we had to make use of the below par buffet. The waiter insisted on coming to our room later the evening to take the payment for the meal as their facilities was offline.

Pros: The room was nice and comfortable.
Cons: The coffee at breakfast was terrible and a coffee barista should be trained for such an establishment. Our room was not ready at 15:35 in the afternoon. We were however given another room.

10,0 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast was tops as always although the juices tasted SUPER diluted EVERY single morning. too much water in there or ice, but no taste...n no it was not my toothpaste, lol. Also the dinner is not like it was made by the old school chefs... the stews tasted more like soups were added to the curry...not tasty. Also the veggie pastas had too much tomato paste in it...looked and tasted like the spaghettis from the koo tin range. I understand hotels are trying to be cost effective, but the carvery was the best from every single dinner, the carbs just didn't do it for me together with the stew/curries.
