Pros: The hotel's reputation is well-earned; it is extremely comfortable and elegant and the guests feel welcome and everything they could wish for is provided. The room was expensive but luxurious and spacious. There is also perfect peace as there is no noise from outside or inside. Children feel most welcome. The bathroom facilities were splendid and the room had enough plugs to charge four devices at once. Everything worked seemlessly and everything was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was wonderful and all the staff were very friendly and dealt with every issue that arose swiftly and pleasantly.

Pros: Wonderful location. Exquisite setting. We stayed here 3 years ago and were disappointed so returned to our favourite - The Dorchester. We decided to give the Savoy another go and we were delighted. Wonderful staff, excellent room (overlooking the Thames - a great view) and, despite the Lego Christmas theme, very elegant.

Pros: Everything was great really, lovely traditional hotel, service was brilliant and a very good location, 10 minutes walk away from some of the best shopping areas and some top restaurants. We also ate in the Grill and is was excellent.
Cons: I was a little shocked by how expensive everything was but this might be expected for London, for me though £20 for a Vodka and Orange, £8 for a side of Toast at breakfast or a single croissant, does seem a bit too pricey. I expect to pay a premium but these costs did seem just that bit too much.

Cons: I did like the breakfast but had to pay £25 on top of a room rate including vat of £314. It is a beautiful hotel but I think the breakfast should be included in the room rate especially for returning guests.

It was super clean and lovely. 11 Cadogon is beautifully restored. There is a great bread store directly behind it with homemade croissants, buns, fresh sandwiches and of course coffees. The location is fabulous, just off of Sloan Square.
Cons: There were some problems. The internet was either slow or absent. We were told the walls are thick and "...they're working on it." This is a business and it is unacceptable to struggle to get a speedy connection.I doubt that this was a new problem. I spent hours trying to use the slow connection and for this reason will not go back. The bell person who took up our luggage didn't tell us anything about regulating the heat and the lights and it wasn't intuitive. The control panel on the wall doesn't regulate the radiators. You have to turn them off or on. We couldn't figure out the lights either so we had to wait for a shower until someone came and showed us a master switch. No clock or radio in the room. TV stations were limited; BBC1, BBC2, Bloomberg Britain and old American shows; no finance channels like CNBC, no current movies. The was however the Financial Times in the library.

You can reach all of central London from here with ease as well as travel North or South with easy connections. There are places of interest and style on every corner. The hotel presents itself as a luxury hotel and has style and charm. The staff are very courteous and professional throughout the hotel. The executive king room I was allocated was very impressive. I was 'at home'. I could have stayed longer. I will return.

Cons: I am always asked to prepay for services I have no intention of using and on check out there is always a refund BUT no staff available to authorise it and no possibility to see your invoice or the refund before you leave. . The refund is made before you (I) return home and emailed but at the desk, it is a little awkward.

Cons: I asked for an early check in which wasn't possible and I understood this. However, when I returned at the regular check in time, the receptionist without checking with anyone, insisted the room still wasn't ready. Had to ask for the manager, who after checking with housekeeping, found the room was ready. Receptionist was not happy at being contradicted and was less than pleasant for the rest of the check-in process. Not offered breakfast discount on check-in so would have paid substantially more if I hadn't found out about the discount by accident. Stayed two nights. Mini-fridge was not restocked the second day. Took 45 minutes to get a bucket of ice and then felt guilty for asking for it when we found out the poor guy doing room service was the only one on duty. Seems like the hotel needs to amp up the staff numbers to provide the five star service you're paying for.

Pros: The location was amazing. The hotel was very clean and the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: Pool use was very limited. You have to pre-book your swims and are only allowed 30 minutes each day to swim. The staff at the spa front desk were rude and were not nice. No linens were provided for the sofa bed and we were told we could not have any.

Pros: The only thing good about this hotel for my situation was the location.
Cons: Reception at the front desk were poorely skilled. Absolutely no communication between them and the customer about how the room is/was going to be. I paid for a room which I thought I was going to receive a decent room with a view. Instead I got a dark closet room with a very small window of the inside of the building, was not worth the ridiculous price per night. I would compare my room to a youth hostel, pretty much just a place to lay my head, nothing more, nothing less.

Cons: I stayed at this hotel with my mom for 5 days while on holiday. I don't recommend it. It's overpriced for the amenities provided. The pool is mediocre: it's very small and only good if you have restless children (there's only 5 lounge chairs). The gym was ok. Twice the cleaners did not come to our room as required, and we even ran out of toilet paper because, when the cleaner did come, she did not leave any toilet paper! There's free wifi which was good and the many tv channels. The location is basically the main attraction. My 2 cents is that find a hotel without the gym and pool, and go for the location to save money. And find a hotel with reliable cleaners that speak at least basic English. None of my cleaners spoke any English and did not understand words like toilet paper...

Cons: It was a tad bit off the beaten path. Since it is next to the Police Station and near St. Thomas Hospital we heard a lot of sirens. Also it is a 10 minute walk from any store and there are no vending machine or snack shop on site.

Pros: Kevin at front desk was very nice and helpful. He addressed us with our last name. Every time we called front desk for towels or what ever they addressed us with our last name. This was very different for us. Harry at the bar went out of his way to make me comfortable. He answered my questions about tours and where to go and made really good drinks. I loved my co conversations with him. I spent 345 pounds on drinks....lol. Mama at the breakfast was awesome. She cared for us like a Mom. She is indeed very sweet. Andrew and Daniel were great in giving information too. Bruno and Tanvir got us a cab, put our bags in the taxi and waved with a simile. It was like they were family. From Kevin (our first contact) to last; Tanvir and Bruno were mind blowing. We will be staying with you guys again.

Cons: Got to hotel at check in time (2:00) and had to wait 2 hours for the room to be ready. My 3:30 engagement was missed do to this issue with check in. I was only in London this one day and the main reason I was there for didn’t happen because of the late check in. Also, the occupants of the room next to mine was slamming their door and making noises up to 6:00 am. It sounded like staff was continuously trying to enter the room. Not a good experience at all

This was very different for us. Harry at the bar went out of his way to make me comfortable. He answered my questions about tours and where to go and made really good drinks. I loved my co conversations with him. I spent 345 pounds on drinks....lol. Mama at the breakfast was awesome. She cared for us like a Mom. She is indeed very sweet. Andrew and Daniel were great in giving information too. Bruno and Tanvir got us a cab, put our bags in the taxi and waved with a simile. It was like they were family. From Kevin (our first contact) to last; Tanvir and Bruno were mind blowing. We will be staying with you guys again.

Cons: Beware!! The booking agent Cancelon has a early date trigger converting to a non-refundable reservation after promoting "free cancelation". Its geared to pushing the non-refundable reservation to their site to sell. The listing process was incredibly difficult requiring re-entering all online data resulting in no sale or compensation. Would avoid booking through Cancelon in the future.

The breakfast selection was mediocre and the same everyday for the 9 days I was there. The hotels decor is old and outdated. It was difficult to even have a bottle of water delivered.

Cons: The room was so small I nearly knocked the tv off the wall when walking from the bed to the bathroom. There wasn't a dresser to put my clothes in, and if I were to use the folding stand to place my suitcase I literally would not have been able to move around. Airconditioning was adequate for my room, but the hallways were hot, and the lobby was uncomfortably warm. Carpets were dark and dingy. I had tech problems with the wifi, something others were having as well, but there wasn't anyone at the hotel who could adequately solve the problem.

Pros: The location is excellent (just behind the Tate Museum & the MI-5 HQ, as well as only a couple of minutes away from the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey). Tube stations are 10min.+ away, but the area is well covered by buses. The common spaces look clean and modern and the staff is friendly and polite (but nothing "over the top", though). If you manage to get a good deal, it could be a very affordable hotel in the middle of London. I paid £550 for 5 nights, but a few days before or a few days after my stay and I could've easily paid around £1,200 for the same number of nights in the same period - mid-August.

Cons: 1) we already fully paid to booking.com but still charge us, even we provide full details of the payment they dont care. 2) we check in with 1 year old baby. They dont use common sense give us 2 single bed. We request but given only next day. 3) almost 1 days we unable to take shower. No hot water. They repair but only can last for 15min and cannot be use. They dont bother to replace the room until I go to reception and shouting to them. 5) I took the glass to mix coffee, shockingly the glass was not properly washed. Not show in the room. 4) this I dont know the hotel policy. I stay 4days. 2 days they provide mineral water in the room another today's we need to buy. First time I stay in hotel but need to buy for the water. Thank you.

Cons: Room needed updating, no hairdryer had to request one and then waited more than 2 hours for it. No hot water one evening...not good after a long day exploring the city. We had to wait for a couple of hours. Wanted to book tickets for the Tower of London, asked at Reception to be told I needed to email the Concierge to do this. Tried to do this from my room, but the system would not work, went back down to Reception, the same Receptionist couldn't tell me what I needed to do, just that she didn't know? Another Receptionist then came over and said, "Why don't you go over to the Concierge desk and just ask him!" why hadn't I been told that in the first place? The Concierge was most helpful, couldn't understand why I had been given the wrong advice in the first place. He booked my tickets in minutes.

Cons: The rooms are a bit outdated and could do with a fresh coat of paint and some new carpeting at the very least. The design is also very simple and minimal, which gives an overall "basic" feeling. Some refurbishment would go a long way in improving the comfort of guests and would justify some of the heftier rates charged by the hotel (probably off the back of the hotel's premium location rather than room comfort and facilities).

Cons: Trip to London for 1 night, got the room key out our bags down and headed straight out. Paid for a twin room, got a room with 4 beds. Tea and coffee facilities were meant to be included - we had just sugar... no tea OR coffee available. Dirty sheets. Private bathroom - more like a sit on toilet whilst you wash your hair room. Way too small and door didn’t shut at all!!! Not nice. Also mould everywhere. Turned the heater on and sparks came from the switch on the wall... the manager said he doesn’t need to do pat testing for anything :/ it also meant we was freezing through the night as we didn’t want to turn the heater on due to this. (One guy came to look at it, flicked the switch and said it was fine, we have a video and pictures of the switch sparking)! The radiators didn’t work so we know why the heater was provided but we was scared to see it on. Carpet doesn’t fit the floor. 1 single bed didn’t fit the mattress on. 1 double bed was broken and not standing straight and also big dip in mattress (like over 10 years old) nasty. When sleeping, the bedding smelt horrible and the whole room smelt of damp. The toilet was making an awful noise all night, and as the door didn’t shut properly there was no way of drowning the noise out. Dirty towels. Curtains didn’t fit. Cracked plug sockets Smelt people smoking outside even though windows were shut. Didn’t even attempt breakfast - read reviews, enough to put us off. We asked to swap rooms but apparently they were full. I then asked the manager if he would have this furniture/facilities in his home and he said no so I said why would you let paying customers stay there. Wardrobe looked like it came from second hand with stickers all over and was just dirty. Didn’t even want to shower in the morning - doubt it would make us cleaner anyhow. Overall great location. Awful hotel, awful customer service, awful everything else...

All previous opinions about the hotel being dirty are indeed true. Tip: do not expect anything more for breakfast than toasts, butter and a jam (all served in a basement).
