Good 7,0
Pros: very small room
Cons: not being disturbed twice in the morning for room service
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We were very pleasantly surprised at how lovely and large the room was - little balcony overlooking the sea also a bonus. The breakfast was very good and nothing seemed too much trouble for staff. An air of friendliness was about the place and I would definitely return.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Lovely setting, friendly staff and tastefully done
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent guest house. Excellent hosts, breakfast and accommodation. They made us feel very welcome
Cons: I didn't dislike anything, my grandson and I had a wonderful time, only wish we could have stayed longer
Excellent 9,5
Pros: The host and staff were very friendly and welcoming The accommodation was comfortable and to a high standard and excellent value for money. The breakfast was amazing; cereals, full English etc and for a ridiculous £5
Cons: Pebbles was all round excellent. The only quibble was the lack of working wifi
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Hotel was spotless and clean the beds a bit lumpy but still a great place would definitely recommend
Excellent 10,0
Pros: First stay in Southend on Sea and Pebbles was chosen for its previous reviews which was exceptional. I had no problem booking and staff and hosts very welcoming. Breakfast was lovely hot from the kitchen. My son and I had a lovely stay and the area was clean and very accessible too. Parked right outside the guest house luckily was not too hard finding a spot although might be busy at certain times as parking is right on the main road and the seaside is a stone throw away on the opposite side of the guest house. There are a lot of places to stay all in the same area the adeventure island is a half hour walk away but easy to get to. Its lovely there would definitely visit again and stay at Pebbles if it's available. Lovely stay would recommend . Thank you so much for your hospitality. The lobby and dining area was lovely and airy to sit and eat. Full english or vegetarian breakfast to order and ready in minutes, son liked the pork sausages which were well done and fresh fruit and yoghurt and cereal on offer too. Got your own keys to go and come freely. Peaceful quiet sleep and free wifi works well too! As it was a short two night stay, no problem at all xx
Cons: Not applicable
Excellent 10,0
Pros: breakfast was excellent, everything that was needed and more, staff very attentive and pleasant. guesthouse is in an excellent position away from the hustle and town ,but close enough if you needed it. Great touch overlooking the beach.
Cons: cant really think of anything.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Couldn't believe how good this place was for the price. Far exceeded my expectations! Perfect in every way, you won't find better in that price range.
Cons: Nothing, wouldn't change a thing.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very clean and friendly B and B

Excellent 10,0
Pros: The breakfast was nice and staff friendly
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Location spot in close to everything. Very clean. Friendly staff. Sea view was a bonus and the outside terrace for breakfast was very nice. Oh and the breakfast was excellent
Cons: The room was very warm. Could have done with a fan
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything was perfect! Gorgeous clean and quiet room, friendly helpful staff, and an unbelievably delicious homemade full English breakfast with all the best locally sourced ingredients! You can eat inside or outside on their lovely tea garden deck. (Seriously, the breakfast is phenomenal and well worth staying just for it!!) The location was easy and convenient—a short walk to the train station as well as the main tourist area with wonderful restaurants and shops all around. It's also right on the cliff overlooking the coast, directly in front of a beautiful statue of Queen Victoria. It's also very close to the longest pleasure pier in the world, which I highly recommend walking down! The owners are so sweet and helpful, and they provide a comprehensive guide for the area in a booklet in your room. I absolutely loved my stay here, and I will definitely come again!!
Cons: Nothing! It was perfect. :-)
Excellent 10,0
Pros: staff were great, knowledgeable and attentive, facilities lovely. Beautiful room, bed was great as partner is 6ft 5, we had a patio, which was fantastic as very warm night. Location was brilliant.
Cons: Perhaps TV could have been a little, otherwise faultless
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very friendly staff, very clean, extremely beautiful view from out suite.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: The room was good and comfortable.
Cons: A bit of continental such as croissant on a few of the days.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: It was in the center of what we wanted to do a short walk to the Cliffs Pavilion one way and the shops the other. A lovely quite location and fab view from our window..The bonus was eating our breakfast on the terrace on a beautiful day. Friendly helpful staff.
Okay 5,8
Pros: Staff were nice
Cons: Far too hot stuffy and crammed in in room. Need fans/ air-conditioning for warm days! Breakfast quite stingy compared to other places I have stayed in. Overall way too expensive! Won't recommend or stay again.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: LOCATION. Rooms at the front have a great view of the Thames estuary Southend inc pier Superb sunsets (if sun is shining) see attached photo looking up river towards the sunset.. There is no lift so if that is a problem choose a lower floor. The hotel is just a couple of hundred yards west of Southend High Street with its shops restaurants etc AND Southend On Sea Central railway station (to/from Fenchurch Street) The full English breakfast is superlative - but be there before 9am. If you bring the car you can get all day parking for £2.50 arranged thro the hotel
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The room we stayed in was STUNNING. Perfect location, wonderful view, super comfy beds. The staff were amazing too. So friendly and helpful

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location was easy to drive to from London and the outdoor terraces had gorgeous views. The rooms were beautiful, the bedrooms looked very Laura Ashley like and the bathrooms were grey marble style. Free wifi, complimentary drinks, DAB radios, nespresso machines etc

Pros: staff very helpful and accommodate our dinner reservation change due to family members being later due to traffic. As had a new born baby in the party, they ensured we had a table with lots of space for the buggy and could move about easily.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Really impressed with the Camelia, mixture of homeliness and hotel. Couldnt fault it
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0

Pros: Staff were lovely. Breakfast was good. Very nice stay!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Warm and friendly
Cons: Smoking area outside
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Fantastic view from the balcony. Having a suite with large sitting room
Cons: Lack of crockery & utensils in kitchen cupboards
Excellent 8,0
Cons: Lack of air conditioning
Good 6,3
Pros: THEY HAD A TV
Cons: THEY DIDNT HAVE ROOM SERVICE
Good 6,8
Pros: They should provide glasses and complimentary bottled water. The shower is far too weak and should be invested in.
Cons: Very poor showers, lack of bottled water, any glasses (only cups). Not enough staff manning reception at busy times meaning one has to wait sometime whilst previous guests are shown to their rooms.

Cons: Nothing, fine. Just what I expected from a small seaside hotel.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: The room was comfortable, quiet and well equipped (hair dryer, iron and ironing board, electric fan, TV and phone). The breakfast is good and well managed by the staff. There are a comfortable lounge and a bar for the guests. The seaside is one minute away and the town centre and railway station are 10 minutes away. The staf is most welcoming, friendly, efficient and always available. It is a top location for a stay in Southend, great value for money.

Pros: Quiet rural setting. Breakfast was excellent. Didn't have much time to explore the venue. Staff very pleasant.
Cons: Air conditioning in room
Excellent 8,8
Pros: We were impressed with the staff helpfulness and cheery service. Lovely room but spoiled by having the view from the window obscured by the huge marquee outside! I had asked for a room With a nice view!
Cons: The restaurant dinner fell very far short of our expectations and we were disappointed. Overrated and much too expensive for the quality. Had to wait an hour after we booked .. not good enough for a hotel of this high quality in other respects. This is our second visit and we intend to visit again but will eat elsewhere sadly to say
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The bed was very comfy!
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Everthing was yo our satisfacción
Excellent 9,3
Pros: Our stay at Pontlands exceeded my expectations. It was a last minute booking and I'm not sure why but I expected it to be comfortable but nothing special. The room was large, clean and well laid out. We ate in the restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised to not only see vegan dishes on the menu but there were options and the food was very good. The staff were attentive and helpful. I loved the fact that they have got rid of single use plastic bottles of water in the rooms and will happily refill your own bottle with still or sparkling water as many times as you ask (well done Pontlands!).
Cons: The pool was underwhelming and the gym was a few bits of cardio equipment in a very small, hot room.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Felt more like a four star hotel it was a lovely hotel
Cons: Nothing couldn’t find fault
Okay 5,8
Pros: Comfy bed.
Cons: The practice of adding a discretionary service charge to Restaurant and Bar invoices. We found this very embarrassing. The en-suite extract fan was very loud and long. The room had no aircon on a very hot night. No ladies’ shower cap was provided.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Staff, leisure complex in grounds, felt like a real holiday by the outdoor pool, on the sun loungers, drink in hand, lovely poolside furniture. Lovely outdoor jacuzzi, so warm a clean. Lovely food in the restaurant, original menu, don't mind paying when it's not a meal you could make at home. Staff even went out and bought a pack of playing cards for usto use, when asked ifhadany!
Cons: Nothing
Okay 5,0
Pros: Nice building and grounds
Cons: Shower head broken Toilet didn’t flush well Internet disfunctional (despite specifically requesting it) Additional breakfast overpriced at £15
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Exceeded our expectations on every level, a very good hotel, would definitely stay there again!

Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hole experienced
Cons: Carpark to expensive
Excellent 9,3
Pros: Great location and super helpful and friendly staff.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: rooftop bar & Restaurant
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Restaurant
Cons: Expensive Had to pay to park our car on top of £150 bill for one night b&b.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Pretty much everything was great. It was a bonus that we had a room looking over the airport, as I am an aviation enthusiast (not the reason for the visit). Breakfast was very good indeed. The staff were excellent.
Cons: I am over six feet tall, and even for me, it was not easy to get into the bath/shower. The small pedal bin in the bathroom was annoying; fiddly to use and noisy, why not just an open bin? A fridge in the room would have been handy. The packed breakfast was poor. The fruit was rotten. No water bottle, though requested. Fruit platter at breakfast had few bananas. If you didn't get in very early, you would miss them. We never saw any. Paying for parking!!
Excellent 8,8
Pros: It was right at the airport and the train station. No rush in the morning worrying about traffic/ transport in time. Only restaurant we saw outside was McDonalds and the rooftop one at the hotel was very busy, however, we took the train into Southend for more choice
Cons: The airport itself had limited landslide facilities. Not a fan of the McDonald’s and the rooftop bar was very busy - although you can reserve tables. In h8ndsight wish we had done this
Good 6,8
Pros: Everything's good accept that there was no option to watch a good movie on Tele... That option should be available for people who wants a movie night in. I also expected a bigger bed in the executive room, they only gave a standard double bed in a executive room. However the room size was big
Cons: The thing I didn't like was that the T.V. didn't have an option to buy movies. Atleast they should have internet available on the smart TV's so people have options.
Excellent 9,1
Pros: Ideal location for airport
Cons: Restaurant menu did not have any healthy options so went elsewhere
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The location was so handy. 3 mins to the airport and the train station. I’ve been coming back!
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Fantastic breakfast,comfy beds
Cons: Windows , didn't like them . Didn't let much light in and was placed at corner of room..should have been in centre
Good 6,3
Pros: It’s conveniently placed next to the airport. The bedrooms are clean and spacious. The reception staff were very nice. The bar staff were friendly but weren’t on top of the game .
Cons: The rooftop bar was very dirty. There were no tables to sit at without large collections of used glasses and plates taking up the space. Having ordered food and bought a drink I asked to sit in the restaurant section where it was quieter and cleaner, but i was told I couldn’t as it was being set up for breakfast (it was 22.00). I found a table in the corner covered in glasses and sat down . My food was served in amongst the used glasses and plates and the waiter didn’t clean my table before placing my meal down. When I left the dirties were still there. The whole bar was a mess and not the nice start to my holiday that I expected.
Okay 5,7
Pros: Location and modern feel
Cons: Air condition noisy and too cold. Staff not very friendly more matter of fact so didn’t make us feel special

Good 7,5
Pros: Clean tidy comfortable
Cons: Noise from ventilation ducting outside window , noise from a bar/ pub next door
Excellent 9,5
Pros: My flight was very late and staff were available to great me and help me get checked in.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Breakfast has limited extent but includes cooked to order; fine for us. Hotel location is convenient for crematorium and Saxon Hall and airport; we suggest photocopied street maps of Southend and district are available for strangers using car. Rail station is close by for regular cheap quick access to Southend Victoria. Manager took our heavy baggage up the staircase. Tea/coffee making and biscuits and bottled water available in the room were very welcome. Shower in bath best ever seen. A/c in bedroom basic reason we chose the hotel for hot weather stay; and adjustable shutters on windows not curtains are a good idea.
Cons: In the bathroom, the bath bottom is very slippery when wet and soapy, there is no rail to hold on to, and no foot mat, so showering is actually tricky; and a bath mat would stop water getting all over the floor. We suggest damp towels are left on the towel-rail to dry and not arranged on the bed to look nice for a second night's stay! In the bedroom, a small coffee table at the settee would be helpful; and a blanket available for those who detest duvets. The circular cupboard is OK for suits and hanging the TV on; but the two drawers at the base are too awkward to use.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: The hotel is situated in a very quiet location.
Cons: The hotel is nicely decorated
Good 6,8
Pros: Really good location if you want to be close to London Southend airport. Nice washroom.
Cons: No elevator, which is really hard if you have a lot of luggage. Breakfast was really basic. Overall pretty expensive for what you get.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The staff were very helpful and arranged to put our ice pack in the freezer overnight so that we could keep prescription eye drops cold during the following day. Many thanks
Excellent 9,3
Pros: Rooms were ready early for us, as requested as we had to get out to a Wedding, thank you. All the rooms were a good size with nice beds and bathrooms.
Cons: Breakfast in the morning was 7 am - 9 am - a little earlier than at many other hotels, - could be at least til 9.30 as some people are here for a holiday/weekend away - did feel there was a bit of rushing at Breakfast too.
Good 7,5
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The only possibility for dinner was a small basic room service menu which could be eaten in the room or in the bar. I ordered a pizza which was brought to my room in a pizza box with a knife and fork!
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful , rooms were clean , good bed and value for money.
Cons: Only that the dining room isn't open of an evening , yes there's restaurants nearby but sometimes you just wanna stay put.
Excellent 9,3
Pros: Friendly staff, comfortable room with bottled water and tea/coffee. Nice breakfast - good value stay.
Good 6,7
Pros: The peace, the surprise cooked breakfast and it being just across the road to the beer festival..
Cons: No soft door closers
Good 7,7
Pros: The hotel was in a lovely location. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The cooked breakfast the following morning was a welcome surprise as we thought we were only having continental! I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Okay 5,7
Pros: Staff very helpful. Some of the moans in the reviews have been rectified. Very good value for money. The widest bed I have ever slept in, in an hotel.
Cons: Being alongside a main road, the room suffered from from the passing traffic.
Good 7,3
Pros: Very nice room, large double bed and the food
Cons: the fitness centre was very small only three pieces of equipment to use.
Good 6,7
Pros: The room - very nicely styled, lovely sized & comfortable bed
Cons: The wait in the restaurant - very slow to serve food (waited 20minutes for apple pie!) and there was only five other diners, so being too busy was not an excuse
Good 6,8
Pros: The bedding was in two parts and so soft....i was travelling with my female (just friend) sharing the costs so the two part bedding was superb!
Cons: Spider in the bath, the paint work by the headboard could be touched up....the window latches were a bit loose.
Good 6,0
Pros: $review.pros
Cons: the road next to our room was noisy .
Okay 4,8
Pros: We had a executive room, The bed was very comfortable
Cons: No air con in bedroom night temp was about 26 degrees, Extractor fan in bathroom not working, No tea/coffee facilities in room these were in the corridor so if you wanted a drink you had to get dressed to get it. Restaurant not open on saturday night,
Good 6,4
Pros: Efficiency, and free wireless connection
Cons: No
Good 6,8
Pros: Ambience
Cons: Shower not powerful enough

Pros: Lucy and staff were friendly and helpful. Was nice to have a balcony where I could keep the door open for fresh air and to keep the room cool at night. Good internet.
Cons: Website out of date. No breakfast as expected.
Okay 5,7
Pros: Warm welcome, friendly atmosphere made me feel very at ease.
Good 6,0
Pros: The room was clean and well stocked with tea and coffee, the staff were friendly.
Good 6,3
Pros: Very friendly owner and freshly decorated.
Okay 5,7
Pros: Very friendly owners
Okay 5,7
Pros: Location. Breakfast. Owners.
Cons: Almost booked a nearby place at half the price, but was swung by the prospect of an 'Executive Room'. The Waverley has some really lovely rooms... but not all of them it seems, & unfortunately the room we got was a disappointing one - duvet had cigarette burn; carpet was most stained I've ever seen; room was cramped; had to stand on the bed to operate tv from the top (no remote). It's a shame as some rooms looked great, but that just makes it even more disappointing when you pay the same money for one of the poorer ones. We asked if there was another room - but they were all reserved, which shows that people in the know, do return. For a lovely stay ask for one of the more recently refurbished rooms, otherwise you might be disappointed
Okay 5,6
Pros: Lovely styled room, nice suprise. loved the sofa. loads of tea, sugar and milk always an asset
Cons: Heating didnt work. toilet was heavily stained and smelt, holes in the sheets blinds didnt close at the bottom, had to stand on sofa to draw the curtain. fire alarm sounds 'fire in zone 1. there wasnt any members of staff on site so I dealt with it, muting the alarm and calling a number. My guess is a smoker but if it hadnt been we could have been in trouble
Good 6,4
Pros: Good clean family run hotel. Pleasant staff, good facilities and close to attractions. a great bar/bistro with a seaside outlook was situated on the beach a few yards away.
Cons: None

Excellent 8,8
Pros: Location and staff
Good 6,8
Pros: This hotel is always my favourite for its location - opposite the seaside pier and amusements one side and the other side is the shopping centre with parking. The breakfast is always the best part of staying here.
Cons: I always find this hotel quite grubby now. In the last 7 years I've yet to stay in a really clean room. Carpets and chairs are always stained and the bedding, pillows in particular could do with a refresh and always marks on paintwork. I always seem to have problems with the keys too, they need re-activating at least once during each stay. However don't let this put you off as the location and breakfast really makes up for this. The staff are hit and miss like everywhere....always one on reception really friendly, polite and helpful (male) and one very grumpy and unwelcoming (female). Regardless of grubby rooms, if you book a Seaview room and enjoy the sounds of the seaside and amusements you'll love the Park Inn.
Excellent 9,3
Pros: The friendly staff, great breakfast and location.
Cons: The carpets were stained
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Rooms good size Beds Comfortable. Staff pleasant and helpful.Food very good ( and particularly for young children) near Adventure Island and the beachfront restaurants.
Okay 5,5
Pros: location
Cons: no free parking had to pay £23, same tasteless breakfast every day, free biscuits only for VIP if I was one I wouldn't stay there. cleaners only did beds and left rubbish in the bin. window handle broken. no go back for me.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: See view.
Cons: Had to pay for parking.
Good 7,0
Pros: View and the size of room everyone was friendly
Cons: Bar open longer and better food choices and qualitly
Good 7,0
Pros: The staff are friendly and accommodating.
Cons: The pillow were small and not fluffy enough. The toilet in our room not is that clean as well.
Excellent 9,3
Pros: Bottle of wine for the room. Great size rooms with sea view.
Cons: Asked for toilet roll at 09:35 and by the time we left the room to check out at 10:25, it still hadn't been delivered. Corridor carpet a bit shabby and felt like the bathroom could have been cleaner.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: Giving carpark discount for over night stay was helpfull. Good choice of breakfast buffet and very helpfull staff
Cons: The coldness of the room on arrival other that that the room was clean and comfortable with a seaview
Mediocre 3,8
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Having requested a double room, having a double bed instead of 2 twin beds pushed together.. We were unable to move in the middle of the bed as the beds were just moving apart. We had dried bloodied sheets and pillowcases even though the room had supposedly been cleaned previously. Unable to open the window despite it saying the windows did open. Breakfast hours were not suitable. As we were on holiday we didn't get up before 9:30,so therefore missed breakfast most days and it was only the one day we did have it, it was appalling as it was so dry and didn't taste nice at all. Housekeeping left old chips in room when we went up to our room on the first night. They took one of our room keys that was left in the room and our luggage had been tampered with.

Pros: The receptionists were very welcoming and helpful and the breakfast options were cheap and plentiful. The room was spacious and the bedding was comfortable. They provided plenty of towels too.
Cons: The room was not the cleanest with dusty lampshades and cobwebs in the corners and around the windows. There was a brown substance smeared on the bathroom door and mirror (poo?). A shower gel was available for showering with but a) someone had watered it down and b) the quantity was not enough for more than one person to wash with. Also, the decor could do with an update.
Excellent 9,3
Pros: From the welcome to the end of our breakfast, and departure. Staff were very hospitable and helpful. The room was very comfortable, slept very well, and the breakfast was very good. A tasty continental selection and a very nice full English breakfast it is excellent value for money.
Cons: Needs Wi-Fi
Good 7,0
Pros: Great value, comfortable room and beds. Good choice of cooked and buffet breakfast.
Cons: Bathroom could do with an upgrade. Facilities adequate, but vent full of dust, shower head covered in limescale and ceiling needs painting.
Mediocre 3,7
Pros: The staff seemed nice
Cons: Although it is not far from the airport, it is not possible to walk to the airport. I travelled on the train and had to get a taxi from the train and then in the morning back to the airport (c. £7.50 each way) . Consider this when compared to the other airport hotels. - The two big problems with the hotel were- 1. The carpet in my room was physically soaked by the door to the bathroom. I did not realise to just before I was going to sleep as I had my shoes on before. I left very early in the morning and there was nobody at reception to tell them in the morning. I had read a number of reviews saying that the place smelled like there had been a flood. It would seem to me that the issue is more fundamental, whether it's a plumbing or a ground water issue, there are some serious issues. 2. More annoying probably, the WiFi didn't work. I needed to do some work and had to tether to my phone to get any internet.
Excellent 9,5

Pros: We had a very large and comfortable room. There were extras like mineral water, dressing gowns and slippers. Plenty of free parking.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Regular guest. Always a pleasure to stay here.
Good 7,5
Pros: Great value breakfast-very tasty!!
Cons: The outside and car park doesn’t look very inviting - weeds everywhere, makes the place look a bit tarnished, a bit jaded
Excellent 8,3
Pros: This is a well located hotel both in terms of the airport and the surrounding area. It is functional but comfortable and well suited to hosting events. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
Cons: Given the room rate, there really should be reasonable wifi access in the building that I stayed in (Room 161). When I asked the question the reply was that I should use the wifi in the main building. Had I needed to work, this would have been an inconvenience. The breakfast buffet had run out of some items by the time I arrived at around 9.00am.

Pros: Good for budget friendly no frills place to stay.
Cons: A lot of rooms occupied by men who are working nearby on building sites, who unfortunately were quite noisy & drunk into the late hrs.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: breakfast was good . location a bit further away than expected when I put works post code in was saying about 12 miles on booking . com but was over well over 20 miles
Cons: parking is hit and miss . only 3 spaces on site
Okay 4,5
Cons: Loud music until the early hours
Okay 5,8
Pros: English breakfast was good
Cons: A bit dated tired and could do with a revamp but it is what it is ... as long as you are just looking for somewhere to crash for the night it’s fine otherwise I would look elsewhere
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Was travelling for a wedding nearby. Room was perfect for dropping bag off and getting back late that night to sleep. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
Okay 4,3
Pros: The breakfast was OK and the bed was comfortable
Cons: The music was loud although to be fair it was pointed out on the website that there was live music until 1am on both Fridays and Saturdays and it was still very loud even though I had asked for a quite room. However, the most noise probably came from the Bar Vino in the corner of the square. The shower dribbled and you could not get under the trickle to even attempt to shower, The Water was either too hot or too cold. Also the shower was fixed.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, and good service from the lady who served our breakfast. If you needed anything additional, you could go and get more, ie, toast, tea/coffee/juice.
Cons: The toilet rolls were of poor quality, as there were no perforation on the sheets, so the sheets had to be torn or pulled apart. Therefore, tearing unnecessary paper - and this is not economical for the hotel - and made more wastage. . We were on the third floor, but it could have had better signage - because doors were shut, but you were not sure if they led to the rooms or corridor or fire exit. The corridors were quite long, and then steps, so someone with disability would have difficulty.
Good 6,8
Pros: The location was lovely, the staff were friendly, the rooms clean and the breakfast was good.
Cons: The hotel rooms are situated directly above the bar/club and at weekends these don’t shut until 1am. Even though we were on the second floor it was still very loud. Having the windows open obviously compounded the issue but the rooms was really warm so we didn’t have much choice. The shower didn’t work, but I could still have a bath.

Pros: Nice clean room at back of hotel ideally located near shopping and Frankie and bennys next door.
Cons: Breakfast was terrible. Went down at 8.30- no croissants or pastries, bread was just thin bought bread dried up. Fruit salad was nearly empty and didn’t look very good. Only spread no butter. No one to ask as receptionist busy doing other things. I paid £5.95 for a coffee and a slice of dry toadt(don’t eat spreads). For an extra £2 I could have gone next door for a full cooked plus pastries. Dreadful
