Excellent 9,2
Pros: Quiet, clean, friendly helpful staff, everything I needed for a short stay - toiletries, great hair dryer, cotton sheets, tea/coffee. I didn't want to leave! Thanks to you all. I'll definitely book again.
Cons: Only one small gripe - if you could you fit a wider shower screen over the bath (in room 100) it would be perfect! The water pressure is great, but it splashes all over the floor!

Pros: Lovely grounds and setting Pool area was wonderful Very accommodating to children with specific pool times
Cons: A number of facilities not working eg steam room out of service, 3 gym machines not working
Good 6,0
Pros: The bed was very comfortable and room size was generous. We felt like there was sufficient space for two adults and one toddler, even when he slept in bed with us. The indoor pool was great for kids.
Cons: Although they are considered kid friendly, the kids meals were never prioritised! Some of us were waiting over 45 minutes for kids meals to arrive, only to find that it was the wrong item ordered. Breakfast was okay, but pastries weren’t great.
Excellent 9,4
Pros: - Pet friendly - Beautiful building with beautiful rooms and beautiful gardens
Cons: - The kitchen is just regular - We had to queue for the breakfast because the room is too small - We had to reserve even for the 5 o clock tea hours in advance
Good 7,5
Pros: Breakfast in the Wernher Restaurant was very nice - the room is spectacular, as is the view if you don't get seated next to the para vent that hides the kitchen entrance or by far worse get sent to the Adam`s Brasserie. The whole estate is wonderful with lovely paths twining through the estate which also has a well visited golf course. Lovely spa and swimming pool area. It is very quiet in the evenings and during the night. Room was very clean, typical old English furniture. There were two gentlemen attending to guests at the entrance to the Wernher restaurant - these two met up with 5* expectations, as did the men at the door and the "Mansion" itself.
Cons: The reception desk was not very helpful with information about places to visit, we asked for some information we were told to look on internet - a few days later we found a small area, adjacent to the lobby, with loads of pamphlets and leaflets about places to visit. We booked on two evenings the Wernher restaurant and Adam`s Brasserie - both were a disappointment. Although the Wernher restaurant has a wonderful setting, well worth the 5* with beautiful wall tapestries and fine table setting - the food was unfortunately not of a high standard. Wine was served from two different corked bottles in the same glass. The Adam`s Brasserie was far worse - the food was absolutely terrible. The Breakfast in this area is totally not 5* and very poor. Table decoration as in a roadside cafe, cobwebs on the lighting free of charge. Definitely not up to standard. Staff trying to solve problems with breakfast seating were discussing things in front of us - also something you do not wish to hear as a guest. The water in the bathroom smelt of chlorine, a lamp was out of order. We didn't visit the sauna as swimsuits are to be worn at all times - something Europeans don't understand but respect. I would suggest avoiding the Brasserie if you have taste buds and only dining in the Wernher Restaurant for the overall experience. There are far better restaurants in Harpenden or Saint Albans.

Pros: It was very pleasant stay! Everything you needed was there: very good breakfast, spacious room, pub, sunny patio. The building is unique and very special. Easy access to other areas incl London via train. The owner did even more than we could have expected and gave us very valuable tips for visiting London and nearby. Thank you Leaside Hotel and we defenetely recommend this hotel to others.
Good 7,5
Pros: The staff were very helpful
Cons: Stairs, which made it difficult with luggage
Mediocre 2,5
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Room was an attic one,no view ,no open windows and super fast broadband was super slow
Good 7,9
Pros: Reall friendly and helpful staff in the restaurant.
Cons: Shower not the most powerful. Carpet in rooms would probably help reduce outside noise?
Good 7,9
Pros: Friendly competent staff, a superb fillet steak dinner at a very good price, room upgrade free, secure parking
Cons: Priximity of a busy railway line which kept us awake with lots of trains throughout the night
Excellent 9,6
Pros: The hotel was lovely the staff very accommodating. Evening food wonderful. Breakfast a little hit and miss.
Cons: Area didn’t appear wonderful... but gated parking so car park secure.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff were exceptionally friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them, especially Sinead. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, the food was superb and the menu range was excellent, suitable for the full range of ages in our party. The breakfast was also excellent with fresh coffee and cafetieres. Garden area was beautiful and very well kept in line with the whole hotel, and we were very happy with all four rooms we had. Thank you to all the staff at The Leaside
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Free parking , easy check in, helpful staff and clean rooms
Okay 5,8
Pros: Easy check in good car parking. Lovely bar
Cons: We had a room at the front. Lovely room. Sunken bath good but not for two older people's with back and hip problems. 4 poster bed creaky we could hear the trains all night we could probably have changed the room if we asked but did not as too tired on check out was not how we enjoyed our stay or anything. Gent had his coat on still no hi or byes just room number and bill

Excellent 10,0
Pros: location and staff
Good 7,5
Pros: friendly efficient staff at check in and comfortable rooms
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Great receptionist! Good location.
Cons: Room is too small.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Breakfast was very good, also nice that it was served from 4am. Location is excellent.
Cons: Could have done with a safe in the room.
Mediocre 3,0
Pros: Not a lot, lacked in almost every area
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Room was well set up, bed was super comfy and everything clean and fresh. Breakfast was included in price and a lovely choice ...lovely berry compote and option to bag rolls etc and take with you...great for early flights. Walking distance to airport.
Cons: Reception was efficient when they arrived...had to wait a few minutes
Excellent 10,0
Pros: breakfast from 4:00AM but not hot breakfast, but okay :)
Excellent 9,2
Pros: The room was larger than average, the bed was very comfortable with good quality pillows and bedding. Bathroom was good. Had everything I needed. Breakfast was included and a cold buffet is available from 4am, hot (ie bacon, sausages, eggs) from I think 6am. There were to go cups for tea/coffee and paper bags for croissants which was very handy for an early morning flight.
Cons: Wasn’t sure where the entrance was - it is actually in the car park at the rear of the building. You get 10mins free in their car park which we weren’t aware of so drop off was a little stressful as we stopped elsewhere.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Just few minutes away on foot from the airport. Quite spacious rooms.
Cons: The continental breakfast (served from 4 am) is too basic. If you have an early plane to catch, be prepared to just have a muffin or cereal.
Good 7,5
Pros: Room is spacious
Cons: No hot breakfast available at 4am
Good 6,5
Pros: Advantages: +very good location +nice facilities +relatively spacious room
Cons: Disadvantages: -staff misinformed us about time needed to get to the airport and we were rushing out at 04:00 in the morning without having possibility of taking breakfast which we have paid for. Too much focus is paid to shuttle bus connection when in fact it takes 5 minutes to go to the airport. We were 2.5 hours before our flight when we could have had breakfast in easy and relaxed way. Bad information from reception staff!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Ideal hotel for catching an early morning flight.considering its right by the airport it was a extremely quiet. Staff were very friendly.
Cons: The room was very hot.

Excellent 9,2
Pros: It's a perfect location for arriving by train and flying off next day, and hardly anything else. Comfortable and quality option as expected.
Cons: Smaller breakfast choice than same brand hotels elsewhere in uk. Current building works next to it are quite audible.
Excellent 9,2
Pros: The location was perfect, train station few steps and bus station for the airport just in front of the door... Clean bathroom and comfy bed We didn't hear planes as I had worried
Cons: The wine glasses at the lobby bar should have been cleaner :-/
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I was very good
Cons: Everything
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Very helpful staff and hotel was remarkably quite despite close proximity to airport. Room was clean and nice....net curtains a definite let down!
Cons: The car parking was a hassle and I object to paying extorionate rate...thankfully I am a blue badge holder. Could not understand reception staff...accents made this impossible...bar staff likewise.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Location, excellent breakfast buffet, good food in evening offerings
Cons: Unable to call internationally and night staff had no clue about solving situation.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The staff were excellent and close to airport
Cons: Brilliant. Close to the airport, perfect for our needs.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Scrambled egg was excellent, not often achieved at hotels.
Good 7,4
Pros: The hotel is in quite a good location for the airport although it did cost us £9 in an Uber to get to the airport the next morning. Continental breakfast was ok but we still had to eat at the airport as not much choice.
Cons: The bed was terrible, every time you eve moved an inch it made a terrible noise so unfortunately we did not sleep very well at all.
Good 6,7
Pros: Breakfast from 4.30
Cons: I lived in the room for disability people
Good 6,7
Pros: Location was great and food served until 11pm which was really useful. beds comfy!
Cons: Car park is £8 per day which I wasn't aware of. Gym isn't great - very basic. Reception refused to give me an invoice for my stay as I has prepaid through booking.com, so needed to call site for a resolution.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: clean and functional , god nights sleep on a comfortable bed
Okay 5,0
Pros: The room was big and lighting was fine. Bathroom was welll appointed but to have Hilton in the name is a poor reflection of a good hotel chain
Cons: It was a cold day and the heater was terrible. The staff did their best by trying to make the wall heater work and even brought up a portable radiator. No matter how nice the room, being cold colours ones perceptions. Having to sit in the room with 4 layers of clothes was horrible. I stayed in motorway services and B&Bs with warmer rooms. Not what I expect from a Hilton. The staff were wonderful though

Good 7,5
Pros: Location and quality
Cons: We had to make up the kids bed at 1.30am when we got in from our flight as it hadn’t been done. Nor was there towels for them
Excellent 10,0
Pros: A clean room with a comfy bed. The shower was great, no stiff shower taps.
Cons: The hotel ran out of sirloin steak.
Okay 5,4
Pros: Not a bad location.
Cons: Slow check in, even slower check out, food took a long time for curry and chips??? Quite expensive for the quality on offer. Shower in bathroom quite rubbish, no power like most modern hotels.
Excellent 8,5
Pros: Very nice room with upmarket fittings.
Cons: Paper thin walls between rooms. You could hear everything going on. Very poor breakfast that doesn't do justice to the Hilton brand. Surprisingly the breakfast was no better in quality over a premier Inn. Premier Inn comes out on top in terms of quietness. Their doors don't slam.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent clean comfy room, excellent disabled facilities in room, very friendly helpful staff, lovely breakfast
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Easy check in. Adequate breakfast. Good rooms
Excellent 10,0
Pros: comfy rooms free parking
Cons: we enjoyed the stay
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It is clean, comfortable, the food was nice and the staff were polite and attentive.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8,8
Cons: the fact that you cannot get fresh air in the bedrooms ,the only way of regulating the temperature is by using zircon
Okay 5,4
Pros: Room was clean and tidy
Cons: Staff weren’t very helpful, i rang in earlier to state that my partner will be checking in before me but booking was under my name but to accept him in. Staff didn’t accept him had to wait till i arrive, staff weren’t apologetic at all. Also had NO service in my room, wifi didn’t work well either

Good 6,7
Pros: The staff was friendly. That is the only good point about my visit
Cons: The mattresses on the bed the moment you turn you can hear the springs in it. So it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep on. Secondly, the pub closes at 01.00am and I understand about the noise and people about to leave. Some people stayed outside the pub on the benches and kept on with their conversations till 02.30am and that completely ruined mine and my wife's sleep.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Good location for Luton Airport, even if tucked away down narrow lanes. Nicely presented room. Quiet !
Cons: Inaccurate times given at check-in about kitchen times so had to go back into town as missed chef. Bathroom was ok, just VERY small.... Had to ask for continental style breakfast, Full English presented as default.
Excellent 9,6
Cons: Only one item. No chair in our room. As my wife suffers from back problems a chair as standard equipment would have been more practical than sitting on a bed. The hotel, while charming and excellent value for money is extremely hard to find if you don't know the area. My satnav did not recognise the post code, and we drove around the area for about an hour looking for it. We found it eventually, but the access is quite well hidden, with only one half concealed sign to the location of the "village". Leaving was easier as it was daytime, but access in the dark is very difficult.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This place is SO lovely, charming, and sweet, and all of the staff so caring and very, very friendly! Loved staying here - was only for one night and wished I could have stayed longer!! Also, wonderful full English warm breakfast!
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like! I loved everything!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Very friendly staff made us very welcoming
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Good value Nice reasonable priced restaraunt with friendly staff Hot showers Nice short drive too airport
Good 7,9
Pros: Cosy and clean. Good location for the airport
Excellent 10,0
Cons: Great location for an early flight from Luton Airport. This was our 2nd stay and would use they again.
Good 7,9
Pros: Bar and food were very good. Bed and shower were quite basic but good value for money. Staff and owners very friendly

Pros: Parking (it was free). The rooms were well kept. Very clean rooms and bath linen were lovely. Air conditioning worked. Lovely Bathroom very modern.
Cons: The heating did not work when I wanted it. The walls in the room could do with a fresh lick of paint. They could have warned me to expect some upheaval in the reception area due to refurbishment work but not a great issue.

Cons: The first room given us there was no hot water for a shower. Second room supplied the hot water ran out after the first shower.

Cons: The street was a bit scary at night
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything & it has a 24 hour shop which is open 365 days per year & next door literally attached to the hotel which sells absolutely everything food wise.
Cons: my shower door needs an upgrade.
Okay 4,2
Pros: I have stayed her before and all was ok. Unfortunately this time my room had not been cleaned properly and I had the horrible experience of finding a used sanitary towel in the bathroom!! Very unpleasant! If that had not been cleaned what else had not been cleaned? Bad housekeeping! Reception staff were friendly but I will not recommend or ever stay here again!!!
Cons: The used sanitary towel left in the bathroom!
Good 7,9
Pros: The staff were lovely, very helpful and the bed was very comfortable
Cons: I couldn't sleep despite the bed being very comfortable as unfortunately there were a few people outside of the building who were talking loudly at 3.00am as if it was the middle of the day!! I discovered that there is an off license right next door that must be open practically all night, attracting very noisy people right outside my window in the middle of the night and making it impossible to sleep. My room was No.11 upstairs. The street outside of the hotel is also dirty with rubbish in the street and doesn't feel very safe at night.
Good 7,1
Pros: The young man on reception was great, very helpful
Cons: The room was very tiny with beds for 3 people but very little space for suitcases. Area is a bit rough.
Good 6,3
Pros: Handy with 24 hour reception, and easy connection to airport and railway. 11am checkout is better than the norm - 10am - and allows me to get some work done, if need be.
Cons: Location is a boisterous, so not ideal to be overlooking the road.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The staff was fabulous! Very profesional and helpful - thank you so much! Great location, does the job for someone travelling in and out of Luton (10-15 mins away in taxi).
Cons: Loud room, very acoustic, people in rooms next door woke me up several times during the night.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: location.

Good 7,9
Pros: Convenient location on main road, easy to find. Good parking facilities. Proximity to airport. Petrol station opposite. Generally very clean. Comfortable beds. Staff polite and helpful.
Cons: Dry bread at breakfast table. An extra electrical application in the room would have been welcome, shaving charging phone etc. Although room clean, objects found under bed from previous guests stay !
Good 7,9
Pros: Good
Cons: Nothing
Okay 4,6
Cons: Room was in basement which is maybe not important as we stayed after long flight and wanted to catch up with sleep. Toilet was making massive noise , towels were smelly chemically ..and my partner car was robbed outside the hotel along with other few cars. Definitely Luton it’s not the place to stay seems very rough
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The customer service by the people running it.
Good 6,7
Pros: Good location and the customer parking slot
Cons: The breakfast need to be updated
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Reception staff was very friendly and helpful, check in 24hrs and convenient for airport
Cons: Lack of parking, drunk people outside,
Poor 1,0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: There was no parking at the hotel and we were told to drive away and park in the car park at a distance. We drove to the car park which was an unpleasant area and we felt unsafe walking around at 2am in the morning. Therefore we took the decision to drive home. Had we been told prior to arrival we that there wasn't parking we would not have booked with them
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The place is very clean and tidy. Visited several times before when visiting family in Luton and will continue to use. Very clean and tidy. Good room size. Staff friendly and approachable.
Cons: Nothing we didn't like.
Good 6,7
Pros: The rooms were basic but very clean
Good 6,7
Pros: The staff were nice enough and the rooms were as expected for the price.
Cons: The location was evidently poor when there were dozens of police cars outside on arrival. Drug addicts congregated outside and begged us for money within 5mins of us arriving.

Okay 5,8
Pros: The breakfast was very filling, I struggled to finish it. The location was ideal for what I needed.
Cons: I booked this accommodation as it was described by booking.com as serving food in the evenings, When I went down to the bar there were no menus on tables and when I asked they said that they weren't doing food in-spite of documentation in my room saying food was served every evening.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: The staff was really great! The bar tender ordered me kebab delivery since I arrived after the kitchen closed.
Good 6,3
Pros: It was convenient to where I wanted to be!
Cons: I did book a twin room - however when I arrived it was set up as a double! Luckily for the hotel my daughter didn’t accompany me as planned so I didn’t have to get it changed as I am not sure how it would have been achieved as it was after 9pm. Also on the 2nd night to noise from the bar area was very loud and continued on until nearly 1am! Luckily I didn’t need to get up earlier than 8am. It was ok for what for the rate!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Good bar good food beside airport
Good 6,3
Pros: The bed was very comfy and the pines was very close to the friends we were visiting. The full english was to a good standard
Cons: We stayed on a Saturday night where they were hosting an 18 year olds birthday party which went on till nearly 1am in the morning. All could be heard from my room. We would have liked to have gone to sleep by 10pm but due to the noise level ended up staying up until it finished which having driven a long way that day and a long drive back the next day was not ideal. On arriving at the pines I was asked to pay £63 and I explained I had already paid. This was not believed till I showed the receit.
Good 6,7
Pros: Location and breakfast
Cons: The noise .. the fact you have to go looking to find someone on reception...the Free WIFI didn’t reach our room
Good 6,7
Pros: Flying from Luton airport next morning the hotel fitted the bill - friendly staff, good breakfast - will use it as a staging post for airport and London again.
Good 7,9
Pros: Convenient location, clean comfy bed.
Okay 4,6
Pros: The location was very good.
Cons: Cleanliness, staff behaviour, no value for the money.
Good 7,1
Pros: Bedroom is fine, but bathroom is quite tired.
Cons: Shower facilities not the most user friendly.
Good 7,9
Pros: Value for money
Cons: My room was in front of the smoking area

Okay 5,8
Pros: The person at the reception when I checked it was friendly, patient and very polite also very helpful. His customer service skills was on point.
Cons: The room wasn’t clean properly. The sink in the bathroom did not work. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. I was very disappointed. I had to brush my teeth in the shower as the sink was not working. The sink in my sister’s room did not work either. Such a pity because the hotel seems such a nice place.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I have stayed at the Chiltern many times and the staff are all excellent. The location of the hotel is perfect for me as is within walking distance of work and the room rates are excellent. I was in one of their newly refurbished rooms and it was excellent.
Cons: Nothing.
Mediocre 3,8
Pros: Not alot really

Cons: We booked this hotel as we had a early flight from Luton, we arrived at 5 and was expecting to go to sleep at 7. Well a wedding was taking place and drums was consistently going all night we ended up with no sleep what’s so ever ! Waste of money will not be going back poor! Rooms were not clean coffee all up the wall and dirty towels. Couldn’t wait to get out !! I would of rather slept in my car ! This will be going on trip advisor

Excellent 8,3
Pros: I liked that the bed was comfortable
Cons: I didn’t like the smell of the room (no circulation of air), did not have a AC. Window was thin so could hear everything from outside. Shower only had boiling water.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Location was really close to station. For the area... Which I think Is a bit seedy it was good to be able to just go across the road to a pub or restaurant. Shopping Centre also very close. This is nothing fancy but for the price excellent value and the staff were really great.
Cons: It was all fine as far as hotel... Though Luton itself isn't somewhere I'd want to stay again
Okay 4,2
Cons: Can hear guests in other rooms, very noisy, bed extremely uncomfortable
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Okay 4,6
Pros: Convenient for the airport, free parking between 6pm and 8am
Cons: Ok location but very hard to find, you're better putting in the coordinates for the car park. The hotel had leaks, the walls in the room looked like they'd been spackled to cover damage, the beds weren't comfortable and there weren't any plug sockets in the room at all! We only stayed a few hours before a flight but i wouldn't want to stay any longer
Okay 4,6
Pros: Location was close to the bus stops and train station. Easy to get to the airport. Staff was nice.
Cons: The floors were dirty and sticky. Duvet had a big stain on it, I got a new one, although reception didn't want to at first, since it was on the actual duvet itself, not the sheets. Shower was lukewarm at best and sprayed in all directions. Cigarette burn stains on the floor and bedside shelf. Lights in bathroom kept flickering the whole time and the overhead light dimmed randomly, and no way to turn it off with out taking the key card out of the slot. No lamp by bed.
Excellent 9,6
Pros: Cost. Comfortable bed. Quiet. So close to station.
Cons: Area is a little rough at night. But if cab drops you off outside it's perfectly safe.
Okay 5,8
Cons: Bathroom was not clean enough (ex, hair on bathroom walls, toilet was not proper clean ). Floor was not proper cleaned , I was not able open window.
Okay 5,4
Pros: Very close to the train station
Cons: In the morning I found a nasty looking bug in the bed, the room was overly hot despite being in a room with a window. Very cramped for two people.
Okay 5,7
Cons: Very cheap, felt like a youth hostel.
Mediocre 2,5
Pros: Horrible dirty hotel stinking of cigarettes can hear every other guest coming and going avoid at all costs.
Excellent 8,2
Pros: Room without a window is dark and very good to sleep till 10. Bute Street car park right behind the hotel. Wet room and shower first class, excellent location, very good internet in the room.
Cons: Tv could work next time
