Lovely touches given to my parents Golden wedding anniversary. They received a yellow rose, card and cake. Beautifully clean and spacious rooms. The hotel upgraded us on arrival.
Cons: On comparison to another hotel near by that i normally stay that costs £300 less per night to stay there. Few little things that were missing in the room that should've been topped up especially the expectation of a 5 star hotel. Breakfast tea bags were missing. The room i stayed in i was struggling to find the plugs they were located awkwardly behind the desk. Had to get on my hands and knees to plug the kettle and charger in. A dirty tray was left outside my door on a side board from another room and was there overnight to mid morning.

Pros: This is my new favourite hotel in London. We have stayed severally in five star venues, each with strong points, but this one has it all! Exceptional service across the board from front of staff through to cleaning provision (really immaculate clean and I’m a stickler). Executive lounge a lovely oasis within an oasis and staff most attentive for the breakfast offering there. Lovely all round touches from free ice cream ribbons and a Paddington book for the children through to late night coffee offerings for a hard working husband in the business centre. Hard to come up with how they might do better. The standards are very high and the clientele well behaved whilst the location is convenient for pretty much everything. Just a wonderful place to immerse yourself in, thoroughly recommend.

Pros:
Cons: Everything was okay except one point happened in the reception, they get 100£ As deposit for any additional service, however during my checking out they refused for refund because they believe that the didn’t detect the full amount of the room rate, but after checking the admitted it was their mistake and release the amount of 100£. Thanks

Pros: Location
Cons: At £513 per night for a club room and the cramped breakfast space this is really not good value for money.
I guess it is more suited to bull buy tours who seemed to consume the hotel than a business traveler.

Cons: Room was like a dungeon. Very disappointing.
6,3 Good
Pros: All the staff were great, very friendly and wanting to help.
Cons: I didn't like the room, we were given a disabled room with disabled fixtures and fittings in the bathroom, I didn't request this and wasn't informed about it, the first I new was when we got to the room. Paintwork flaking off of woodwork, split silicone sealant around sink area. Your average premier Inn room was better than this...….and much cheaper. Frosted secondary double glazing on the windows, absolutely no view at all, pull aside the secondary glazing to reveal the middle of the building, pipes, ductwork and filth everywhere (explains the frosted glass).
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The view of the Thames. Staff was so courteous and helpful. Location!
Cons: The bed was on rollers. It constantly moved.
1,0 Poor
Pros: Nothing good to say. Extremely disappointing
Cons: I was downgraded from a deluxe room to a standard room (essentially.a closet)and my compensation was a 14 £ cocktail. The following day the y transferred me to a deluxe room and despite two request to make sure there were no feathers in the room...
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The location was great and the room very nice
Cons: The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. Check in took forever. A welcome drink or water would have been nice since it was a very hot day in London

Pros: The location is great.
Cons: Firstly I don’t like the service of the bell boy at the front gate. I have been to a lot of hotels including five stars but never have seen the attitude like the bell boys from that hotel. All are standing even though seeing the customer is taking luggages. Secondly I don’t like the attitude of front desks stuff. Already requested for an early check in as I have a meeting and I arrived the hotel at 2:30. It was half an hour before of that hotel policy to check in time. They won’t let me in until 3:03pm and said the room is not ready yet. Seeing the customer is waiting and sitting there for half an hour, they have no effort like asking the housekeeper whether the room is ready or no welcome drink at all. Thirdly, I don’t like the room. I booked a river view but the view of the window is so small and can’t even say it is a view. I am feeling my money for that view is not worth it. The room is so small and the hotel is very old. Fourth, the elevator is very old model 1000kgs type and very narrow. It was stopping once in every floor. Very disappointed to take that elevator. Fifthly, I stayed in that hotel at the raining day. The hotel is so old and so bad and even water drops are pouring drop by drop from the ceiling. I saw a bucket and it was collecting the rain drops in front of the elevator entrance of eighth floor. I was so shocked seeing the rain dropping from the ceiling. When I check about the hotel, it says “the Royal Horseguards” is a Five Star Hotel. I don’t know in what part it is being rated five stars. I will rate it not even a three star hotel.

Pros: Stayed in a king suite . View from the room was fantastic and the absolutely stunning at night. The room was spacious and comfortable with very nicely appointed furniture and bed. The bathroom with the heated floor was very nice surprise. Doorman was wonderfully welcoming, the bellboys were quick and helpful and the concierge was professional and always pleasant and patient.
Cons: I asked for an early check in which wasn't possible and I understood this. However, when I returned at the regular check in time, the receptionist without checking with anyone, insisted the room still wasn't ready. Had to ask for the manager, who after checking with housekeeping, found the room was ready. Receptionist was not happy at being contradicted and was less than pleasant for the rest of the check-in process. Not offered breakfast discount on check-in so would have paid substantially more if I hadn't found out about the discount by accident. Stayed two nights. Mini-fridge was not restocked the second day. Took 45 minutes to get a bucket of ice and then felt guilty for asking for it when we found out the poor guy doing room service was the only one on duty. Seems like the hotel needs to amp up the staff numbers to provide the five star service you're paying for.

Pros: Great location close to metro and Westminster abbey and Trafalgar Square.
Cons: Breakfast average. Expensive price per night.

Pros: Liked the new renovated building, the room, cleanliness and the middle garden.
Cons: The first receptionist I dealt with gave me the wrong room despite I offered to give her the booking reference number. But when I went to the other receptionist she supported me with a nice room. The other thing is that the housekeeping didn’t clean my room in the second day although I pressed the clean request button early morning . Thank you and best regards,

At The Gore we wear our heritage lightly. Since 1892, we have been providing guests with understated elegance and impeccable service. As quintessentially British as our near neighbor The Royal Albert Hall, we have won hearts and minds with gracious, personal attention and agreeable luxury that recalls a gentler era and the best traditions of grand hotels.Today, these traditions are charged with new energy. Our new restaurant, 190 Queens Gate, brings both with and wisdom to fine dining, re-imagining a whole range of comforting classics. Meanwhile Bar 190 is lighting up Knightsbridge and beyond with a vibrant ambience and eclectic drinks selection.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Decor is classy and comfortable and the staff were very friendly
Cons: Like most London hotels the rooms are small but for £200+ a night I expected a little more and a better bathroom, which is showing its age and wasn't very good in the first place (average fittings and pour grouting). Being able to hear the music from the bar below did not improve the score and not in keeping with the nature and style of the hotel. The location is great for the Albert Hall and the park but a walk to a tube station for anywhere else.

Pros: Classic old hotel with great restaurant. Great location for Kensington Palace and Hyde Park.
Cons: A bit far from the train station. More than a 10 min. walk. Very small room and elevator since quite old.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Excellent location for the Albert Hall
Cons: Staff were a little chilly on reception. The bar added a service charge of £5 on to our bar bill, which we thought really cheeky. Also, room service adds £5, so an early morning coffee is extremely expensive if you wish to have one, which you may as the revolting tubes of instant coffee in our room had obviously been there for some time and had solidified. Luckily there is a cafe around the corner on the way to the Tube.

Cons: Having requested a walk in shower it took a while on arrival to find the premises has none. Likewise it took a while to find out that the Hotel has no feather pillows - this was important as some pillows felt like feathers. Hand rails at the entrance steps were sadly lacking. I'm not sure that preserving the character of the original building is a good enough excuse for this. Disability access is important these days.

Air con had broken down which they had to then switch off for the whole building (which happened after a recent repair) and would be non functioning for another 2 weeks (according to them). Staff provided a fan AND portable air con unit which made the room just survivable. It’s an old building which needs work. My impression is that the hotel group is milking profit from the location and using it for staff training. The staff I encountered were doing their best with great attitudes but clearly no real accountability or ownership with front desk managers coming and going on a daily basis. Almost felt a sense that they knew the building is working against them and having to deal with grumpy customers for a day to develop better service skills.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location for theatres in The Strand. We like having a kitchenette so we don't have to pay inflated prices for breakfast.
Cons: Unfortunately the fridge in our apartment wheezed and groaned its way through the night.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Breakfast over expensive for continental breakfast
6,0 Good
Pros: Great location! Everything is available in a walking distance(restaurants, tourist attractions, shops and etc.)
Cons: Room cleaning is available only for additional charge. Carpet was either old or dirty( every time you step on it with bare feet, it leaves lots of fiber on it). Window was cracked.

Pros: The fact that it was a studio apartment gave me the flexibility to self cater. And despite being very centrally located, the room was quiet and private.
Cons: No.
7,0 Good
Pros: The location.
Cons: Check-in was slow. Room was hot (24 C) and unable to lower temperature despite ask of the front desk.
7,9 Good
Pros: Close to Trafalgar
Cons: No service, no cleaning,
4,5 Okay
Pros: Only 1 “toilet” in a 2 bedrooms for 5 passengers. Small, badly maintained and, in general, really ugly
Cons: The room. The halls. What I received for the price I paid
6,7 Good
Pros: Great location (just off Trafalgar Sq. and 2 mins walk from the tube station); room is big by London's standard and the price; reasonable facilities
Cons: The room smelled a bit when I first moved in, especially the kitchenette, either it got better later or I got used to it. Linens were not changed during my stay (3 nights), but you sort of expect that with a serviced apartment. I would be better if we were told how often they change though.
6,3 Good
Pros: We liked the location as we were visiting art galleries and also had a trip to the theatre. It is in a very convenient spot.
Cons: We found the room cold in the evening and could have done with another blanket or two, as the weather was very cold. The thermostat didn't appear to work. We woke up cold in the night.
4,3 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: The room and hotel needed refurbishing and there were only old blankets on the bed.

Pros: Great service . Very good secure parking
Cons:
8,0 Excellent
Pros: It isso convenient and central for shopping and the theatre
Cons: I thought the carpets in the corridors were threadbare
4,8 Okay
Pros: generally efficient and good
Cons: rooms not cleaned on regular basis. i was told it is once a week. at least the rooms can be cleaned more frequently even though linen need not be changed for a few days.
5,6 Okay
Pros: It was in central London
Cons: No complimentary tea/coffee making materials
6,4 Good
Pros: The location was perfect and many of the tourist sights were within walking distance so we saved quite a bit on travel and travel fares. On a weekend visit you do not spend much time in the hotel, but I would stay here again because of the location.
Cons: I would advise people to avoid the £9 cost of breakfast and just walk round the corner to a small cafe and pay half the price.
6,0 Good
Pros: Very close to metro and also easy to walk to atractions
6,4 Good
Pros: Hotel is situated in the center of London, near Trufalgar Squere. Hotel visitors are provided with free high speed internet connection. There is no minibar in the room, but there is mini citchen. As for me I used it to make tea because a lot of restoraunts in 2-min walking distanse from the hotel are available. Hotel stuff is very friendly. Hotel visitors are required to pay in advance.

Great amenities in terms of the pool, fitness center, etc. There is also a great coffee machine in the breakfast room. The staff were relatively friendly overall. Housekeeping staff were so friendly and funny. They could be working the front desk!
Cons: The WiFi was basically not working at all unless you were in the lobby. The pool had no shallow end so not good for children or short people. The shower in the ladies locker room was broken. The pillows were not comfortable at all. The mattresses are firm which wasn’t good or bad. I wasn’t keen on the mojito my bartender made me either. I would absolutely stay here again but these were the things I didn’t like. I wouldn’t recommend eating at the hotel but the kids menu is good for kids (I have a 20 month old)

Ok size room for normal standards, but this is London so compared to what you get in this city, it is enormous. Plus the pool and steam room were a nice bonus to clear the head in the morning.
Cons: Breakfast was pretty tepid. Why can't you keep hot items properly hot? And why are crispy fried foods kept in a closed container so they just go soggy and greasy? I don't know why London hotels only offer English breakfasts too; the rest of Europe manages to provide a whole range of fresh, healthy choice and for much better price.

Pros: Location of the hotel is very good.. 10min walk from Paddington Station... Sainsbury's and coffee shops and restaurants are just 3-4 min walk
Cons: We stayed in novotel Paddington for four nights... room was neat and clean but small compare to others, we were expecting more good in the price that we were paying...for 200 pounds per night they should give one water bottle at least otherwise everything's was good... Its more like business hotel

Pros: Location was excellent. Very close to Paddington and great selection of restaurants and bars around the main square area. Very quiet at night also.

Pros: Nice, boutique hotel on a quiet street close to the Hyde park and 10 min walk from the Paddington station. We were upgraded to a jr. suite at no charge and it was a very pleasant bonus. Our room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was welcoming a friendly.
Cons: They have 2 breakfast options: continental or hot English. We had a continental included in the price. There is a special person that instructs each guest on which breakfast they are entitled to have and that the hot breakfast is extra. Not very classy... I have a feeling they spend more money doing that and creating a negative vibe, as opposed to letting everyone have some scrambled eggs (how much can they cost?) and a good impression of the hotel.

Pros: The location is excellent (just behind the Tate Museum & the MI-5 HQ, as well as only a couple of minutes away from the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey). Tube stations are 10min.+ away, but the area is well covered by buses. The common spaces look clean and modern and the staff is friendly and polite (but nothing "over the top", though). If you manage to get a good deal, it could be a very affordable hotel in the middle of London. I paid £550 for 5 nights, but a few days before or a few days after my stay and I could've easily paid around £1,200 for the same number of nights in the same period - mid-August.

Pros: Great location to explore London
Cons: We have just recently traveled through France and Switzerland and stayed in many hotels, every one had coffee on tap in the lobby (free) and two bottles of water in the room, not this hotel in the UK capital. When we arrived back at the hotel for a night cap at the bar around 10pm the coffee machine had been cleaned and no longer available for a expresso martini , come on Hilton this is the capital of the uk and it’s closed at 10pm , bar is still open but limited to a reduced cocktail menu and no food, and in Europe you get nibbles with your drink whether you want them or not, not in a Hilton.

Cons:
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, excellent location, great wonderful , best night's sleep I have had in ages, helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: Room a bit small but very comfortable bed, very clean , wonderful big window, excellent blackout blinds, small fridge , great daily complementary coffee , milk, tea and bottled water in our room. Wonderful warm shower. Daughter and I really enjoyed our 3 day visit 10 out of 10 . So glad I choose this hotel to visit London. P.S thought the chocolate cookies that was handed to us on arrival ( meet and greet ) and departure was wonderful and they were delicious.

Pros: Clean great location
Cons: Smart modern
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Staff were a little rude and initially was making me wait to check into a room at 3 PM and I arrived at 2:30. Once I told them I was a Hilton honors member they all of a sudden said the room was available. My checkin experience could have been better.
7,7 Good
Pros: The location is excellent (just behind the Tate Museum & the MI-5 HQ, as well as only a couple of minutes away from the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey).
Cons: The rooms are a bit outdated and could do with a fresh coat of paint and some new carpeting at the very least. The design is also very simple and minimal, which gives an overall "basic" feeling. Some refurbishment would go a long way in improving the comfort of guests and would justify some of the heftier rates charged by the hotel (probably off the back of the hotel's premium location rather than room comfort and facilities).
