Pros: Spectacular in every way

Cons: Not being able to stay longer

Pros: Absolutely stunning hotel and was provided with an amazing experience. Staff were friendly and attentive. Room was spotlessly clean. Lovely touches given to my parents Golden wedding anniversary. They received a yellow rose, card and cake. Beautifully clean and spacious rooms. The hotel upgraded us on arrival.

Cons: On comparison to another hotel near by that i normally stay that costs £300 less per night to stay there. Few little things that were missing in the room that should've been topped up especially the expectation of a 5 star hotel. Breakfast tea bags were missing. The room i stayed in i was struggling to find the plugs they were located awkwardly behind the desk. Had to get on my hands and knees to plug the kettle and charger in. A dirty tray was left outside my door on a side board from another room and was there overnight to mid morning.

Pros: Savoy grill was excellent

Cons: Bigger choice of fruity cocktails would be nice

Pros: I booked the stay for my wife’s birthday. She was very surprised as we arrived at the front of the hotel. You are made to feel special from the minute you arrive to the minute you leave. A totally fantastic hotel with staff to match. Hope to return soon.

Pros: despite being over motor court, room was very quiet, everything was well designed, staff was extremely helpful, bathroom was tremendous, restaurant was great. Very little (if anything) to actually complain about. Top-notch.

Cons: gym facilities were modest as was pool, but not a terribly big deal as most hotel gyms have a limited offer.

Pros: The savoy had the magic we were expecting it is truly a wonderful place and the service was beyond expectations. We were so well cared for, all the staff are incredible and make it their passion to make your stay a most memorable experience. This hotel is the best we have ever stayed in with such attention to detail, it is in a class of its own.

Pros: Staff extra friendly especially lady that checked me in.

Pros: Staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you, all were very knowledgable about the hotels history. Cocktails in the American Bar was a lovely experience, it was the perfect end to the evening.

Pros: Executive Lounge very well managed Front desk staff and concierge efficient and friendly Junior suite excellent although shower door opening was not always easy

Cons: I had the lamb for main course in the Dining Room - the meat was below standard (undercooked with fat throughout)

Cons: Everything was okay except one point happened in the reception, they get 100£ As deposit for any additional service, however during my checking out they refused for refund because they believe that the didn’t detect the full amount of the room rate, but after checking the admitted it was their mistake and release the amount of 100£. Thanks

Cons: At £513 per night for a club room and the cramped breakfast space this is really not good value for money. I guess it is more suited to bull buy tours who seemed to consume the hotel than a business traveler.

Pros: This is my new favourite hotel in London. We have stayed severally in five star venues, each with strong points, but this one has it all! Exceptional service across the board from front of staff through to cleaning provision (really immaculate clean and I’m a stickler). Executive lounge a lovely oasis within an oasis and staff most attentive for the breakfast offering there. Lovely all round touches from free ice cream ribbons and a Paddington book for the children through to late night coffee offerings for a hard working husband in the business centre. Hard to come up with how they might do better. The standards are very high and the clientele well behaved whilst the location is convenient for pretty much everything. Just a wonderful place to immerse yourself in, thoroughly recommend.

Cons: The blue boar restaurant a bit of a chequered experience, we were a little neglected, though the food was rather nice.

Pros: All the staff were great, very friendly and wanting to help.

Cons: I didn't like the room, we were given a disabled room with disabled fixtures and fittings in the bathroom, I didn't request this and wasn't informed about it, the first I new was when we got to the room. Paintwork flaking off of woodwork, split silicone sealant around sink area. Your average premier Inn room was better than this...….and much cheaper. Frosted secondary double glazing on the windows, absolutely no view at all, pull aside the secondary glazing to reveal the middle of the building, pipes, ductwork and filth everywhere (explains the frosted glass).

Pros: The view of the Thames. Staff was so courteous and helpful. Location!

Cons: The bed was on rollers. It constantly moved.

Cons: I was downgraded from a deluxe room to a standard room (essentially.a closet)and my compensation was a 14 £ cocktail. The following day the y transferred me to a deluxe room and despite two request to make sure there were no feathers in the room...

Pros: The location was in walking distance of many local sites, like Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Horseguards, London Eye, and Parliament. The staff were helpful and friendly, hotel was well kept. Had excellent food from their restaurant, 1212.

Cons: Firstly I don’t like the service of the bell boy at the front gate. I have been to a lot of hotels including five stars but never have seen the attitude like the bell boys from that hotel. All are standing even though seeing the customer is taking luggages. Secondly I don’t like the attitude of front desks stuff. Already requested for an early check in as I have a meeting and I arrived the hotel at 2:30. It was half an hour before of that hotel policy to check in time. They won’t let me in until 3:03pm and said the room is not ready yet. Seeing the customer is waiting and sitting there for half an hour, they have no effort like asking the housekeeper whether the room is ready or no welcome drink at all. Thirdly, I don’t like the room. I booked a river view but the view of the window is so small and can’t even say it is a view. I am feeling my money for that view is not worth it. The room is so small and the hotel is very old. Fourth, the elevator is very old model 1000kgs type and very narrow. It was stopping once in every floor. Very disappointed to take that elevator. Fifthly, I stayed in that hotel at the raining day. The hotel is so old and so bad and even water drops are pouring drop by drop from the ceiling. I saw a bucket and it was collecting the rain drops in front of the elevator entrance of eighth floor. I was so shocked seeing the rain dropping from the ceiling. When I check about the hotel, it says “the Royal Horseguards” is a Five Star Hotel. I don’t know in what part it is being rated five stars. I will rate it not even a three star hotel.

Pros: Stayed in a king suite . View from the room was fantastic and the absolutely stunning at night. The room was spacious and comfortable with very nicely appointed furniture and bed. The bathroom with the heated floor was very nice surprise. Doorman was wonderfully welcoming, the bellboys were quick and helpful and the concierge was professional and always pleasant and patient.

Cons: I asked for an early check in which wasn't possible and I understood this. However, when I returned at the regular check in time, the receptionist without checking with anyone, insisted the room still wasn't ready. Had to ask for the manager, who after checking with housekeeping, found the room was ready. Receptionist was not happy at being contradicted and was less than pleasant for the rest of the check-in process. Not offered breakfast discount on check-in so would have paid substantially more if I hadn't found out about the discount by accident. Stayed two nights. Mini-fridge was not restocked the second day. Took 45 minutes to get a bucket of ice and then felt guilty for asking for it when we found out the poor guy doing room service was the only one on duty. Seems like the hotel needs to amp up the staff numbers to provide the five star service you're paying for.

Cons: Our room was very compact, as we are of a senior age group,the position of the bed against the three walls wasn’t easy access.

Cons: The rooms are tiny. It was perfect for our overnight stay but for a longer stay I would prefer more room and much more storage capacity--no closet or drawer is provided.

Pros: The location was EXCELLENT. We were within walking distance to all the shows and many tourist sights and museums. The staff was awesome. They were Very helpful and were able to answer all my questions. The wine and cheese offered between 5 and 8 was a great way to relax after a busy day of sightseeing.

Cons: The bathroom needed a hook for a hand towel and another bath towel. One hook is not enough for a bathroom.

Pros: The location was excellent as it was within walking distance of my meeting in the day. I didn't arrive until 9:30pm and the staff were excellent, really friendly and helpful. My room was basic, but clean and had everything I needed including water, tea and coffee. Really pleased and will recommend. I will definitely look to stay here when I next need accommodation in London (most months)

Pros: The location was perfect! Near to everything! The room was good size. Bonus the water machine outside the rooms and the coffee available at the study room. The staff were polite and professional

Cons: The bed was squeaking with every little move, which was extremely annoying. The bed sofa's mattress was of poor quality and uncomfortable to sleep in. There was little natural light available.

Cons: Rooms are a little tired, make sure you put your do not disturb sign on over night unless you want a early morning wake up by the cleaners.

Pros: Lovely hotel in convenient location for the main areas of London sightseeing and Theatre locations. Friendly, helpful reception staff. Clean bedrooms.

Cons: We opted not to have the breakfast as there is a cafe next door with more competitive rates and options but can’t comment on the hotel breakfast but I should imagine judging by everything else it would be good.
