Pros: Everything This has to be by far the best hotel experience I’ve ever had , the staff we attended to us were superstars out of a superhero movie , The only upset I had is when I did book a spa nail treatment on my last night Which was done on the phone through guest services All confirmed for 530 pm I had rushed around in London all day rearranged my plans for this appointment and once I got there was told it hadn’t actually been made I was so upset not angry but tearful Disappointed Also Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant I wanted to enjoy a beef Wellington but was told it was. Only for 2 people again disappointment The server had recommended the pudding to me ale pudding but didn’t warn me that it was salty as hell Omg blood pressure hell I had been travelling for days with hardly no sleep and working so it tried to complain I do love Gordon ramsey and have been to a great deal of his restaurants around the world So please tell Gordon if he could do the beef wellington for 1perdon to have please like at steak in Vegas or hell kitchen I will return to savoy in the future I did tell the reception staff about my spa disaster and was told that my next visit I’d get free treatment

Shower fittings fell apart, path panel warped pain peeling and coming away from the bath at the corners. Turned bed side lamp on, it flickered like a strobe effect so had to unplug. No tea/coffee facilities in the room. Got the feeling that not all guests are treated equally..

I loved the fact that the underground station was direct across the street, so no need to cab or uber in from the airport. We were shown around the room by the delightful Pedro, who during the course of our stay could not do enough for us, including inviting us to drinks in the bar that evening and arranging and walking us to our taxi. A big shout out to the Doorman (Hashim) a jolly good laugh and fountain of knowledge. Room 703 is an incredible suite with its own private entrance, two TVs, gigantic bed which was ever so comfortable and spectacular London skyline views. Many thanks for the cake by the way that was most yummy. We had an absolutely awesome stay...but wait there's more.... The suite overlooked Leicester Square, and low and behold it was only the premiere of Sir Patrick Stewart's new Amazon show Picard....and we had a fantastic view of the stars walking down the (White) Red carpet. We didn't sample the restaurant, I don't eat after 6pm and as we left at 4:30am to best the traffic back to Somerset, we didn't get to try breakfast this time. But rest assured you haven't seen the last of us....

Cons: After the check-in process we were sent to room 221, but when we got there we found a building site outside the window and the room had twin beds. Went back to reception, was told that it had been assigned to a Mr Parker and not me (I'm a Lord so that's Lord Parker) We were then informed that there had been an error due to there being another Parker due that day (makes me chuckle..).

Cons: The taxi service was very limited due to road work. The hotel seemed to be understaffed. We requested a late check out and were given a 2:00pm checkout only to be called twice and had housekeeping come into the room while I was getting in the shower . They let us know that their next guests had already arrived and were waiting for the room. Our stay included airport transfers and we had given them all our flight departure information, but on our departure day they had not arranged transportation and we had to just pay for a taxi ourselves. The hotel felt like it needed more organization . The hotel is in a historic building and the walk from the lift to our room was very long. The lifts were also were creaky and half way during our stay one lift quit working.

Get better cleaners as the room was consistently dusty and there is water damage and mould in the bathroom. Staff at the restaurant during breakfast are extremely variable in their training, manners and work ethic. Staff need training to be consistent. Also not all of us dress to impress and definitely don’t like flaunting like some pretentious rude people who tend to get better attention it seems. Train the staff in the lobby area and concierge to be consistent whether someone is wearing Louis Vuitton or Nike.... I think you get my drift yea?

Cons: I asked for an early check in which wasn't possible and I understood this. However, when I returned at the regular check in time, the receptionist without checking with anyone, insisted the room still wasn't ready. Had to ask for the manager, who after checking with housekeeping, found the room was ready. Receptionist was not happy at being contradicted and was less than pleasant for the rest of the check-in process. Not offered breakfast discount on check-in so would have paid substantially more if I hadn't found out about the discount by accident. Stayed two nights. Mini-fridge was not restocked the second day. Took 45 minutes to get a bucket of ice and then felt guilty for asking for it when we found out the poor guy doing room service was the only one on duty. Seems like the hotel needs to amp up the staff numbers to provide the five star service you're paying for.

Cons: It was a tad bit off the beaten path. Since it is next to the Police Station and near St. Thomas Hospital we heard a lot of sirens. Also it is a 10 minute walk from any store and there are no vending machine or snack shop on site.

Cons: - Nobody on front counter spoke proper English. - room was not made the whole time we stayed. Even though we put the sign on front of door. - very solid/ firm bed. Stiff every time we woke up - shower pools and overflows. No drain on floor meant all our towels had to be on floor to stop flooding. Rang down to let them know. The issue was partially rectified. However, as our room was never made we were stuck with soggy towels in our bathroom. Asked for new towels and got them thrown at me by the ‘lovely’ housekeeper. - not many ammenities provided free of charge. We paid extra to be able to have a nice relaxing time before heading home. While checking out they didn’t ask how our stay was. Wouldn’t be back and will not be recommending to anyone.

Perhaps that was my error. This was a very tourist based hotel. There also was an event for 12000 people which meant that the foyer was mobbed. We went to the Hari hotel after we checked out and it was magnificent. I would not reccommend this hotel for the price

Cons: There are NO American Outlets anywhere, and I understand that yes I am in the UK and they don't have the same voltage as in the States, but EVERY hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Europe has had at least ONE American Outlet. The outlets are no where near mirrors. So even if you packed an outlet converter, you wouldn't be able to see yourself do your hair. CFL lighting instead of LED, which take a long time to warm up and are not as bright. Instead of having One Strong WIFI Network, they had over a dozen WEAK Ones. You had to constantly re-connet to Wifi because the signal would go out. We spent majority of the time reconnecting between 3 different Citadines Wifis. The bathtub/shower is so high off the ground, you have to physically climb into it, and careful not to fall out. I almost fell out completely one, but thankfully my boyfriend caught me in time. Our in room fridge creaked and moaned all hours of the night, and soon became part of our nightly sleep, Given the Opportunity, I would NOT stay here again.

Pros: Location, and the business library is a great place to do work or have a quiet meeting. Wifi in the library is excellent, but not so good in the rooms. The employee's are very helpful and nice to deal with.
Cons: The cost per night is high but it is actually cheaper than others close by given its location. Had to move rooms as wifi in some rooms is very sketchy.

Cons: We booked 2 rooms with queen beds, plus a double pull-out couch...plenty of beds for a family of 5. When we checked in, we were given two rooms with queen beds only. The staff worked to fix the issue, but I still don't think that we got what we paid for.

Cons: The room was so small I nearly knocked the tv off the wall when walking from the bed to the bathroom. There wasn't a dresser to put my clothes in, and if I were to use the folding stand to place my suitcase I literally would not have been able to move around. Airconditioning was adequate for my room, but the hallways were hot, and the lobby was uncomfortably warm. Carpets were dark and dingy. I had tech problems with the wifi, something others were having as well, but there wasn't anyone at the hotel who could adequately solve the problem.

If you manage to get a good deal, it could be a very affordable hotel in the middle of London. I paid £550 for 5 nights, but a few days before or a few days after my stay and I could've easily paid around £1,200 for the same number of nights in the same period - mid-August.

Cons: The rooms are a bit outdated and could do with a fresh coat of paint and some new carpeting at the very least. The design is also very simple and minimal, which gives an overall "basic" feeling. Some refurbishment would go a long way in improving the comfort of guests and would justify some of the heftier rates charged by the hotel (probably off the back of the hotel's premium location rather than room comfort and facilities).

Cons: The system made a mistake and we were double booked in a room. We had wanted a room facing The Thames, but that was what was double booked. The room we did get after that mix up was ok. It faced a building behind the hotel. The bathroom tile needed to at least be repaired or to be replaced as there were cracks and chunks missing in a lot of the tiles. I’ve stayed in a lot worse, but I expected more from a Hilton on The Thames especially at nearly 400£ a night.
