Pros: Hotel was situated great if you need to over night for a flight from terminal 5. Deborah looked after me at reception and she was a asset to the company she works for. And had great eyes! 🙂
Cons: Only downside was there was hairs on the towels which I found when I checked into the room. The £169 per night was a bit extravagant as well.

Cons: The barhroom TV sound seized up and blasting out a shopping channel. The whole room needed electrically reset. Power off power on. This was around midnight after checking in and I only had the room until 5.30 am. £139.00 not good value. They also need signs directing to the hotel from arrivals. I did not see any but may have missed them.

Pros: Gym and Spa was excellent. Obviously easy for plane flights just a gentle stroll, but it worked well for an event in central London also. Caught the last Heathrow Express train at 11.25 in my room by 11.55.

Pros: The room, the bed and the bathroom were all comfortable and to expectations.
Cons: We had flown in from Hong Kong and were transiting overnight at Heathrow with an 8.20am departure the next morning. After check in at approximately 7.15pm, we stopped by the restaurant to make a dinner reservation for 7.45pm. Even though we could see that the restaurant has many empty tables, we were curtly advised by the restaurant staff that the earliest we could book would be 8.30pm. Given we were traveling with young children and we were all tired after our flights, we elected to go for room service. We ordered room service of 2 burgers, 1 kids fish and chips and 1 kids chicken and chips at 7.45pm. We were advised to allow 40 minutes (for a meal that would take 10 minutes to prepare). After waiting 45 minutes, we called to enquire of the status of our meal. We were told it would be another 15 minutes. They hastily cooked our meal and it arrived at 8.50pm. The children were mostly asleep by this stage and we were no longer interested either. The Pinot Noir was undrinkable. Staff were apologetic. We were not charged for our dinner. The whole experience gave the impression that the hotel trades on its location as the only hotel located at terminal 5.

Pros: Room was super clean and bed very comfortable. We checked in early and our room was not yet ready, but they were kind enough to give us a different room which was a kind of a downgrade, but we gladly accepted it as all we wanted was to go to sleep, after a night flight.
Cons: This comment is for Travelocity’s attention: the hotel would not recognize my Accor Hotel membership and would not credit my Accor account for this stay. Neither were they willing to give us access to the Club which is a courtesy they normally give Accor members. All of this was because we did not book directly with Accor, rather through Travelocity. We understand that this is Accor’s policy and not Travelocity’s fault, but, if you want to keep us as customer, can’t you work with the hotel chain to remedy this shortcoming?

Pros: Sofitel is not a cheap option, but after a long haul flight it’s great to have the hotel right at the terminal. Fabulous breakfast and great soundproofing sets you up ready for the next leg of your travels.
Cons: My case was delayed so I would have liked extra touches expected in a higher end hotel. A bathrobe and toothbrush, comb and hair conditioner would have been nice. Also we were made to queue on checking in as we got stuck behind a plane full of people whose flight had been cancelled. We had a confirmed booking so it would have been appreciated if we could have checked straight in. Staff very friendly and helpful at reception and concierge the following day. I think we were unlucky with a bad patch at check in.

Pros: This is such a great hotel. I would recommend it to anyone for any occasion. As soon as we arrived the staff helped with our bags and we even got an upgrade to a king sized bed. The room was very clean and accommodating.

Cons: As a Le Club Accor member I have stayed at numerous Sofitel's across the world. The staff at Heathrow Sofitel were uninformed for a airport hotel and the service was substandard. Although the bed was very comfortable the room lights randomly turned on in the middle of the night, in both rooms waking us. The tv's did not work due to flat batteries in the remotes and the expected niceties for this brand of hotel and at this cost such as a bottle of water didn't exist. Overall the location was convenient but I'm not sure we would stay again. Regards Brenda partridge

Pros: The proximity to Heathrow Terminal 5 was excellent and it was very easy to find when exiting baggage claim. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Room had no amenities that are necessary for turnover travellers such as a mini-bar for easy refreshments and iron and ironing board. Those are really two items that I need at my fingertips when I'm doing a quick layover with late arrival and early departure. Really poor for a hotel that claims 5 stars. They should understand the needs of their guests. Some of the new and innovative airport hotels could definitely challenge the Sofitel.

Pros: It was located next to the terminal 5. If you have a early flight, or in case there is any sudden change of your flight schedule, this hotel would be a best choice. Additionally, the breakfast is quite impressive if ever you have a time to eat in their "buffet-style" restaurant before you leave.
Cons: The staff was very rude, especially when they are pointed out that they made a mistake in billing by over-charging their guest. Instead of apology, I was just given a rude / unprofessional gesture and comments as if they did not do anything wrong.

Cons: I was told the restaurant was still open for dinner which it was not nor was there a bar I had to with no notice order food to be delivered to the hotel lobby, with two children on my own this was unacceptable and the opposite of what I was trying to achieve by staying in a hotel before a long haul flight, I was disgusted with the wrong information and lack of assistance. The rooms temperature control wasn’t up to me, there was a horribly loud fan in the bathroom I booked a family room and was given a normal room with two double beds the hotel didn’t even know I’d paid ahead of time for breakfast. All in all I will not return because of these issues with hotel response to emails being wrong and lack of communication or care from booking.com

Pros: We arrived late, 8:30 at night, and needed to print out our boarding passes. We had some trouble accessing the information but the concierge was patient and helped us get the passes printed. The morning breakfast was great. Finally, we needed something mailed and they agreed to do that too. So great service, great locations.

Pros: Big lounge, helpful front desk service. Discounted pricing relative to other hotels in the area. Outside decor and current renovations give very poor first impressions. Room was typ Marriott-type accommodations. I'd recommend spending the extra $10+ to stay elsewhere if possible, but would consider again at same price range when renovations are complete.

Cons: We were not informed that the hotel is going through a TOTAL renovation. We were initially placed in a recently finished room. After a real ordeal to get there, we found out that our room reeked of chemicals (gave us a headache within 5 minutes and watery eyes), still had some construction debris and the bathroom door handle was not installed. Had to carry all our luggage back and had to be moved to a different room.

Cons: 1.the hotel could not find my kayak reservation so I am Not sure that I paid the kayak rate, in fact there is a good chance but I was charged twice and I'll have to find some way to reconcile this. For some reason the kayak reservations were not acceptable for their confirmation numbering system, the staff acted like they never seen a kayak reservation. 2.none of the hotel had internet access whatsoever it was down all night. Only one staff was manning the concierge desk and with the internet down the line was very long, yet it seems like the staff didn't put 2&2 together....perhaps you should increase the number of people at the concierge desk when the internet is down. At times the concierge would just just disappear I think probably hoping people would just disappear as well. Myself and another guest helped ourselves to the concierge desk computer print out our boarding passes for flights. 3. the entire hotel smelled like smoke despite the non smoking room. 4. the television didn't work in the hotel room and looked quite dated even at the kayak rated this hotel is not worth the money

Pros: A newer hotel, quite contemporary without being shocking. Nice room reminiscent somewhat of IKEA. We stayed overnight between two 10+ hour international flights; I’d do it again in a heartbeat. Great staff!

Pros: This was a very short stay, got in about 9pm and left at 6am. It was perfectly serviceable and comparably priced hotel. Comfortable beds, quiet, average breakfast buffet.
Cons: My only complaint is that the website doesnt make it clear how far away from the majority of the airport it is. Heathrow is a *giant* airport. If youre not used to these or you've never been to LHR, plan extra time & expect to walk much more than you'd expect. I was traveling with my elderly father & booked this hotel because it was "close and convenient" and he didnt want to take the tube to a hotel. We came in via Terminal 3, and it was a good 30 minute hike (inc inter-airport shuttle). We didnt realize you could call for a cart from Terminal 4 to the hotel lobby & my dad had a lot of trouble walking the distance. The clerk at the hotel told us to plan 30-45 minutes to walk back to Term 3 in the morning, or 10 minutes via cab (20 pounds for a cab, 10 for an uber). The sad thing was, I specifically confirmed the hotel I had originally planned was only a 30 minute tube ride and 3 minute walk away from the stop, so joke was on my dad. Also, room service is quite expensive (which may be the case with all Hiltons or London hotels). Worked out to be about $60 for 2 hamburgers/fries and a cokes.

Cons: The Heathrow Hilton advertises itself as being on the airport campus. Well, only just: and after a long walk from terminal 2 to terminal 3 to take the Heathrow Express to terminal 4, followed by another long walk to the hotel, one might be forgiven for wondering if an off-campus hotel might not have been easier and more convenient to reach. It took me at least a half hour, bags in hand, to stagger from the Customs Hall to the hotel. Be aware!

Cons: The hotel is located a long ways from the international terminal which in itself isn't bad. The only way to get to the hotel though is to take a 14 dollar (round trip) bus from the terminal to the hotel. The bus only takes British pounds and doesn't take a credit card. This is the only major airport I think I've ever been to without hotel courtesy shuttles. Very disappointed with my 45 minute, 14 dollar commute to a hotel that's advertised as an airport hotel. The hotel also charges 20 dollars a day for internet. It's hard to believe the Motel 6 doesn't charge for internet and places like the Hilton still do.

Pros: The hotel is close to the airport and is therefore positioned for a last-day stay in the UK. As others have mentioned, the hotel is distinctive and, within the parameters of a franchise hotel, classy. After days of staying in serviceable but well-worn B&Bs, this was a real treat. A tip on transfers to/from Heathrow: while the Hotel Hoppa serves the Ren. Blu,, so do public busses, which are, at that point, free (the Hoppa is not). The London busses depart from the central bus facility at Heathrow, ideal for domestic arrivals. The Hoppa can take you to Terminal 2, convenient for US flights. We used this combo and saved a whole lot of walking with luggage.
Cons: Like many hotels of its size, the Ren. Blu. schedules large events (there were two huge wedding receptions while we were there). If you don't like masses of people in the public spaces around the lobby, you might be furstrated. I have to say, though, that, once upstairs, the revelers were invisible and inaudible.

Cons: I booked a room four days in advanced and upon my arrival I was refused to stay in the hotel. I was told that they do not have vacant rooms. I was sent to another hotel instead. The Radisson Blue did not provide any explanation or advance notice. They told me that the manager would contact me to provide explanation and discuss compensation. It's been a week, but nobody has contacted me so far. I consider it unacceptable to turn away customers in this manner, without any advance notice or explanation, especially by the hotel that praises itself with excellent hospitality experience. I will not consider staying in this hotel again.

Cons: The "hotel hoppa" bus was crowded and I waited a long time for it at terminal 2. It was a heavy-travel day, and not the hotel's fault, though certainly they could influence the service. Additional buses on days like Easter Monday would be a big help.

Pros: Staff was good and helpful but they did not pay attention to who was next in line. We were waiting well before a customer who did not wait their turn.
Cons: There was a lot of fan noise in the room and it made it difficult to sleep when I woke up in the middle of the night. We also had issues getting the free shuttle and when asked on getting back to the airport we were first told about the shuttle that cost 4 pounds 50 when by simply crossing the street we were able to get a free shuttle back to the airport. Since the hotels no longer run free shuttles they should provide their customers with clear instructions on how to get the shuttles from various terminals and the costs.

Pros: Poor breakfast option - I usually book premier inn which is cheaper - but due to covid they stopped breakfast so I tried Ibis as it provided breakfast. However 2 small pre packages croissants, packet porridge and carton of orange juice with bruised apples was more than disappointing. The room was also very small and bed very hard. Also as the parking cost an additional £12 this ended up more expensive than other hotel options with free parking for guests which have nicer and larger rooms.

Cons: The only thing I did not like was the receiption given at your restaurant - it took them long time to attend to me and they failed to provide me required services that I paid for - I noticed that all people that came after me were seated on time and immediately given a basket of bread - I was not given any basket - I mensioned it to the cashier while paying - then trying to bring it to my room - which I let her know that it was too late for that. Please train your staff to be sensitive to all diverse groups that comes to your restaurant. Life is short - we are all equre in the present of God - our maker!

Cons: It's iBis so what do you expect. Some guy who worked there barged into our room and demanded that we unplug our things because he was turning off the electricity on the floor. He literally came into our hotel when we were in bed. They out us in the first floor do to the fact that there was construction on the 3rd floor. The toilet didn't work. The shiwer plugged up and wouldn't drain. We woke up at 5 in the morning to no power whatsoever. After my shower in a plugged up tub I was ready to leave.

Cons: It took two days to get a improperly working toilet repaired. I notified the front desk as soon as I walked into my room and again upon waking up the next morning. Parking was extremely tight and the holes is a challenge to get to unless you take the shuttle.

Pros: Returning to the US from a European trip, we needed to transfer from London Gatwick to London Heathrow late at night, and then depart the next morning from London Heathrow. The Hilton Garden Inn was ideal. It is located close to Terminal 4, and gave us a good place to stay for the night. Staff are very helpful.

Cons: Read a review that transportation was bad and have to agree. Expensive at GBP 4:50 each. Worse yet was the SURLY, RUDE, UNHELPFUL CRETIN that drove the bus. Awful.

I understand it is in coronavirus, but disposable kitchenware is just lazy. Kettle boiled on its own intermittently and would not work when wanted it to boil! Toilet did not flush well and room cold despite knocking off unit.

Cons: Expensive for the level of investment this hotel has recently had. Less than expected included - no shuttles even though it's literally across the street from one of the free city bus stops to Heathrow terminals. The facilities feel like they were last updates in the 1970s.

Cons: Be aware that the Hoppa shuttle bus runs 5:30am - 11:32pm, so when I arrived on a late flight, I ended up having to take a taxi. Also I couldn't find a Hoppa ticket machine so you have to pay 5 quid cash each way.

Cons: There are so many rooms that it is hard to navigate. When I checked in, the receptionist casually mentioned that the elevator was down the hall. That was not clear at all! Otherwise, a pretty run of the mill hotel with your basics. Did the job.

Pros: For a 4-star hotel this place is a winner. The rooms are thoughtfully designed for both the business and leisure traveller. We have stayed in lots of airport hotels and this was a real surprise. Great bathroom, work desk, check-in/out, soft pillows (as per our request), quiet, and friendly staff. Not sure how they do it in a fast turnover, big establlishment but they seem to have this one sorted.

Pros: First off I couldn't book the room through the hotel. I was forced to book with third party online. My bathroom had flooded when I had taken a shower, due to the shower threshold. I had upgraded my room simply just looking for a king bed. The only room available was a sweet which had cost me 275.00 pounds. They only compensated me 50 pounds for a soak and wet bathroom that I had to mop up with all the towels in the room.

Cons: had to walk along way down a hallway to access an elevator to the 2nd floor and then had to walk back down another long hallway there was urine in the toilet in our "clean" hotel room and the TV was all ready on - it left us wondering if our room had really been cleaned no extra pillows or blankets

Cons: Just one thing really which is....They overcharge you which I guess is a “security deposit” but then they just have to refund you anyway after you leave which is a pain if you need the money in your account. You agree to one price on here but when you arrive they add another £50 or so. Pay as you go for parking etc would be a lot better... I’ve stayed in a fair few other hotels in the area and haven’t experienced this before. Additionally I did mention to reception that this charge is not listed anywhere on booking.com so came as a surprise when I arrived which isn’t great. Overall I would stay again but this may be something further visitors will want to take into consideration for budget etc!

Cons: People at the desk were short and rude, no free wifi unless you're in the lobby. I traveled all over Europe for a month and never had to pay for wifi, robbery if you ask me. Room service menu was worse than the McDonalds across the street. Airport shuttle is supposed to be there every 30 minutes, but never showed up so I was forced to Uber. Next time I have an early morning flight, I'll definitely pick a different Heathrow hotel.

Pros: The room was nice. Large and comfortable with a great tv. Bathroom was good size and clean. Most staff members were friendly.
Cons: False advertisement. Wifi was £15 a day when it said it was complimentary. Fitness center was a JOKE and the pictures on the hotels website should be taken down. Staff in dining room ignored us multiple times so we decided to just order room service. The price of the selections offered was ridiculous even for a hotel. I also informed kitchen staff of a food allergy I have, was told a dish was free of my allergen by three people, and later had a reaction from that food. Educate your kitchen staff on common allergies before you seriously harm someone. We heard doors slamming all night long. We were up all night and miserable the next day. I ended up moving to a hotel that was more expensive and lower quality for the next couple of nights.

Pros: The room was large, comfortable, and well apportioned in terms of what it contained (TVs, tea and coffee amenities, iron, etc). The convenience to the airport is stellar, and the amenities within the hotel (bars, restaurants, gym) are good. Staff was very friendly.
Cons: The room was weird. There weren't any outlets near the bed, which doesn't make any sense because it meant there wasn't an alarm clock and also you couldn't plug your phone in by the bed to be an alarm clock. Also, not having a free shuttle to the airport seems usurious.

Cons: Check in staff was unwelcoming. Almost was given a smoking room until I complained. Breakfast was expensive and did not live up to the price. The location is far away from the airport and suited to business travelers. Will not book a room at this hotel again.

Cons: Air con did not work. The room temperature all night was 27 degrees. In the morning there was no hot water. One of the boilers had broken. The plug for the kettle did not match the electric socket. The hairdryer is tied to the desk so not able to dry cold wet hair in bathroom. Thd bed was bouncy and pillows unsupportive. We used rolled up bath towels. Overall a dreadful night before a 24 hr flight to Sydney. Surely the Sheraton group has the resources to upgrade this hotel?

Pros: Basic hotel, but stay here frequently when l fly. Very close to airport. Clean & comfortable. Staff are never that friendly here, but that doesn’t put me off. Good hotel for a night prior to flying.
Cons: I wish it had been advertised that the POD was not running. It took us a while to get to the POD station with heavy cases to find on the entrance door they were closed. So we then had to lug our luggage all the way back & get a Taxi. Reception never answered the phone so we didn’t know about the bus. We have always used the POD in the past. Better communication or even a sign by the lift to the POD station would all have made for a better experience

Pros: The room was clean, comfortable and has all the amenities required for a one night stay. A meal can be had at the 2nd floor restaurant until midnight and the breakfast buffet has a wide selection. Getting there from terminal is easy and economical if you know how.
Cons: Getting to the hotel by the POD parking autonomous vehicle system is fast and easy but it would help if the hotel sent you directions. I ended up calling the hotel to learn that you need to take the POD to Parking Area B. Then follow the labelled footpath to the hotel reception. There is an electronic gate with a camera and keypad which reception unlocks when you call them on the keypad. Reception charges you 5 pounds Sterling each way for using the POD system, but this is far cheaper than 18-20 pounds for a taxi.
