Pros: We were only there for an overnight after a long haul flight, but found the hotel to be comfortable and the breakfast excellent. The staff were considerate and helpful when we encountered a problem with our room.
Cons: The first room we were allocated had a pungent smell which meant we simply couldn't stay in it. We were then moved next door, only to find that once the window had been closed the same smell built up in the room. We only discovered this after an evening in the bar with our son, so were eventually moved at 11.30pm to an upgraded room. All a bit inconvenient, but the problem was well handled by staff and we eventually got a comfortable night's sleep.

Pros: Good bed and bathroom
Cons: Had a connecting door with VERY noisy neighbours coming in late including 4.30am Monday morning. Rang reception who partially sorted it out.

Pros: Comfort and location
Cons: I request to be on the fifth floor and i got a room ont the third floor overviewed on a building wall
8,0 Excellent
Pros: GOOD
Cons: One staff at reception was unfriendly when i asked her about the access card was not working for lounge. I needed to take tea or breakfast. But rather than helping, she asked me to bring identity card etc. I had no time, so i left the hotel without breakfast. In the evening someone else helped me and urgently checked the card and rectified problem. I am surprised, if card was not working why the staff needed to see once again my passport etc which was in the room and i needed extra time to go to room and bring the passport to show her. when my card already was issued for the room, but had some issue at lounge access.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great place, great location
Cons: The room was little for 3 people
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Location. Staff helpful and friendly.
Cons: Room for 3 was small and felt cramped for 3 adults. Towels and tea and coffee were supplied for only 2 adults. Couldnt contact reception and house keeping by phone so had to go down to reception to request these.

Pros: Everything was excellent by comparison to other venues in London. This is a truly good hotel.
Cons: There was a little smell in the room where I stayed at.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The bedroom was clean and tidy, the bathroom was very clean. The girl on the desk was very welcoming and the cleaners were also very friendly.
Cons: The bed headboard was worn out. On leaving we noticed the whole floor was being renovated. Therefore I'd imagine the bed would be replaced. All in all though, quite satisfactory.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfy
Cons: The food we had was really disappointing in the restaurant! My daughter had soup which was really tasteless and watery! She couldn’t have the bread to go with it as we were told it had nuts in, ( she is allergic to nuts) My aubergine dish was quite tasteless. The chips were undercooked. The spinach and green beans were delicious!

Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Bad cancellation policy. Still dont even know if it was cancelled. Was told i would be contacted about a week ago and havent had the time to call them yet again. They never called or emailed me back.

Pros: The reception were delightful and helpful! They kindly moved me to a quiet room off the main road at my request. I don't see the point in spending hundreds of pounds when you are hardly in the hotel room anyway.

Cons: Location is a bit out of the way. Check out and check in process is needlessly long whether it’s their system or pace of staff. Steam room was out of action with no prior notification. Staff lost my luggage when I stored it with them
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were lovely and the facilities were great. Only 10 minutes from old street station and some great restaurants and bars nearby.
Cons: Nothing!
7,0 Good
Pros: friendly greeting from lovely chap on reception, very clean room, good location, impressive facilities
Cons: v small room, could hear neighbouring rooms and someone had loud tv on all night unfort.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Great facilities Comfortable rooms Nice food
Cons: We asked for family or adjoining rooms( as we had 3 kids with us ) 9 months in advance. Was informed straight away there was no adjoining rooms but they would do their best. So I rang again a week before I arrived to check again on rooms together. When we got there our rooms were not together and they said there was nothing they could do as they dont have many family rooms and they are not together. But looking at the map of rooms I didn't see a size difference for a family room to regular room. So was disappointed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: There are quite a few places to eat and drink in the area. We only stayed one night and it was just what we were expecting.
Cons:
5,0 Okay
Pros: It was an overall ok hotel so I cannot say anything really stood out.
Cons: The staff was not helpful. With the exception of the person who checked us in everyone else gave half hearted responses and would not be pleasant or helpful to resolve any issue.
6,3 Good
Pros: Nice breakfast & not bad location & good spa facilities.
Cons: Room had a strange smell & very small for standard double room also parking is charged at 30 pound a night which is a lot.

Pros: The hotel is a 5-minute walk from a black line of underground called Tufnell Park. The breakfast is very simple white or brown toast, butter, Nutella, jam and 4 kinds of cereals, available cooked breakfast contain eggs, bacon, and beans. The room was very clean and was cleaned daily. We left every day in the morning and come back in the evening, so we really did not spend much time in the hotel. There was one lady doing everything from reception to cooking breakfast, she was really kind and nice.

Pros: The location was very good for us, with quick and easy access to Camden and Holloway. The breakfast was better than adequate and we didn't expect luxurious surroundings for the price we paid. The lady in charge was very pleasant and willing to be of assistance.
Cons: Once we had set our budget, our expectations were tailored accordingly. So, for that reason only, there's nothing we didn't like.
2,5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Everything was terrible: staff, communication, location, hygiene, rooms... they were so tiny that you could wash your feet, pee and brush your teeth at the same time. No communication whatsoever, no answer to our complaints. Nobody at the reception during opening hours. SHAME. Never again!!!

Pros: Great location in North London. It is 5 minutes walking from Tufnell Park tube station and 10 minutes from Holloway road where you can get several buses to the downtown. The staff are very nice and friendly.
Cons: The wifi might work better and the water pressure of the shower should be stronger.

Cons: The only thing was that the wifi really wasn't working at all, we are at the first floor so I am not sure if there were many people on it although the location was very good and reception strong or they just turned off because around 10 am when everyone was gone, wi-fi worked perfectly. We were on the 1st floor so, in the morning, you could smell toast from the toasters.

Pros: Close to underground. Local to Sainsbury's.
Cons: Overall, our experience was very negative. We were left outside the B&B for about 20 minutes when we first arrived after ring the bell a couple of times. I assumed no one was in, so I called the number provided by the hotel on my booking confirmation. I got through to the manager who told me to ring the bell again and that he would contact the receptionist who was in. Rang the bell again, and the receptionist answered. Everything was fine, she then got a call from the manager while we were checking in. Her attitude completely changed when she got off the phone, and wouldn't listen when we said we were ringing the bell for 20 minutes and that's why we called. She told us we didn't ring the bell. My partner apologised to keep the peace and off we went to our room. On the final night of our stay, we wanted to make a mug of tea in the kitchen. My partner went to make it and found the receptionist was also in the kitchen. He asked if it would be alright to make tea, and she was very dismissive and rude, saying it wasn't allowed and only at breakfast. She was very unprofessional in how she addressed him and made him very uncomfortable. Once she "gave us permission", my partner had gotten the hot water and was looking for the milk. He asked her and she kept saying that she "told him already" and that it was upstairs at reception in the machine. She raised her voice at him and at this point, he just returned to our room without milk as he felt very uncomfortable about the whole confrontation. If guests aren't allowed in the kitchen during the day/night, why not just place a kettle in each room? We felt so unwelcome and unwanted at the Five Kings Hotel that we were excited to check out. It impacted our trip a lot and I hope the hotel use this review to improve the conditions of the B&B. We do not recommend this B&B.
5,8 Okay
Pros: It was cheap for being bank holiday in London and the location was good, 20 min walk to Camden and the bus stop about 5-10 min away, the area was lovely
Cons: The shower was inside the room and the toilet room was very small. The doors were always slamming even when you didn't wanted, walls a bit too thin. If you lose your key the amount that you need to pay I personally found it a bit excessive £100. Breakfast it's ok, I would might, reduce the basic breakfast and improve the full English as it was bacon ,eggs and beans (not very form them) and they didn't asked you if you wanted the eggs in any way, they were dry everyday. The reception wasn't open 24h, it isn't a problem but it would be helpful. However, it's alright for what your pay.

Pros: When I first arrived my room hadn't been cleaned yet, which was only noticed when I pointed it out. Things like that can happen and the staff was nice enough so I didn't give them a hard time about it and let it slight. When I came back 1.5h later and checked in I got a chance to see the rest of the hostel. While the room was okay, yet visibly in need of some repairs and refurbishment (broken furniture etc.), the bathrooms where absolutely horrifying: the toilet had no soap or even running water and was overall gross. The shower room was absolutely grim, mouldy and obviously unkept. I understand that hostels do absolutely not have to provide luxury but this was beyond anything I had seen before. Basic hygiene and sanitary minimums should still be met. I did not feel safe changing my contact lenses there and didn't even want to think about taking a shower. Especially considering that the double room we booked was not even particularly cheap. For the first time in my entire life, I checked out not even 2h after I arrived and found a different place to stay. Cherry on top of the cake: I had to let staff belittle me for not liking this unacceptable establishment.
