The hotel was lovely and very clean. The staff were friendly. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Lovely stay. Thank you.
The staff was really friendly and my room was quiet and super clean. The location is very good as well but in a nice neighbourhood. The breakfast was very good as well.
The room was a bit cold for me, I tried to turn on the heating in the night but I did not feel that it was working.
Breakfast was very good! The girls were very accommodating and helpful. I have celiac disease and managed. The girls at the front desk were amazing helping with directions, maps and taxis.
Not enough room for clothes in the room - had to live out of a suitcase.
The room (a standard double) was nicely decorated and had everything we could have needed. It was spacious and clean. Breakfast (continental) was reasonable and the staff was friendly. It was my second time in London and we stayed in the same street because we love the quiet and safe neighborhood. Perfect for families and close to two underground stations: Pimlico and the main Victoria Station.
Our room was located on the lowest floor, below the street level. We didn't have a view but we still had plenty of light because of the big window.
The breakfast buffet (what the hotel calls "continental", as opposed to "full English") consists of Greek yoghurt with condiments like seeds and honey, toast and high quality jam, a small variety of fresh fruits, high quality juices (apple, cranberry and orange), high quality cakes, and some coldcuts. Coffee machine with a wide variety of choices. Also the standard room had a high quality water boiler and instant coffee, tea and hot chocolate. In addition there was a Nespresso machine. A nice detail on arrival was a couple of chocolates and water bottles. The hotel has a few umbrellas by the exit door that guests can borrow when it rains. The hotel is within walking distance from Victoria station, which is convenient for flights to and from Gatwick.
The view from our standard room was a bit drab, I must say. The standard room was also very small - the bed barely fit into the room, hardly any space around it. But these thing are probably to be expected in London. There was very little space to put luggage.
Located in London (London City Centre), The Belgrave is within a 15-minute walk of Apollo Victoria Theatre and Victoria Palace Theatre. Featured amenities include express check-in, complimentary newspapers in the lobby, and dry cleaning/laundry services.
