Reasonable for London Would not recommended eating there. Expensive. Room was comfortable and clean and quiet. Staff very helpful.
Expensive pretentious food
We loved the spacious room and the night time turn down service treats-delightful.
Very clean. Very happy with the service. Plus we were upgraded to a fantastic suite
It was our first visit to GB and London and we disturbed about quality of booked hotel but everything has exceeded our expectations. In a result, we got a traditional British-style hotel with the spirit of old England and a slight shade of colonial India for a modest price. Hotel has ideal location and places in the heart of London in walking distance from Soho, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar square, Buckingham palace. The room with traditional England furniture had all absolutely comfortable. Fresh water, tee bags, café and cookies delivered each days.
The view from our room (# 235) was bad. I strongly recommend to made the special request concerning a view before or during booking.
Luxury comes to London in the Victorian St. James’ Court, A Taj Hotel. Opened in 1902, the polish that attracted 20th-century high society is still intact today.
Inside the classic Victorian building, guests will find 18 different types of guest rooms and suites that range from 25 to over 70 sq. mtrs. Each accommodation is furnished and decorated with comfort in mind and features complimentary WiFi, a flatscreen TV, and air conditioning. The classic rooms capture the charm of England while Executive and Premium rooms offer a more modern style with a luxurious touch.
Guests won’t go hungry thanks to the hotel’s four on-site restaurants. Patrons can enjoy a high-end menu of South-west Indian cuisine at the Michelin-starred Quilon, indulge in locally-sourced ingredients at Bistro, dine in the fresh air surrounded by ornate decor at St. James’ Courtyard, or get lost in the seasonal flavors of Bank. The night can be topped off with a warm drink at The Hamptons Bar, The Cellar Room, or Zander Bar.
An on-site wellness center provides access to a full spa, complete with massage, body treatments, and facials. Guests can also get a simple cut and blow dry or VIP Makeover at Hair by Dar.
All of this is offered just steps away from Buckingham Palace and the Houses of Parliament in Westminster. Guests looking to explore beyond the hotel can do so in a fleet of vintage cars, including a Jaguar DS420 Daimler and the Rolls Royce “Gabriella” from Downton Abbey.
In the heart of Westminster, St. James’ Court provides guests with the chance at a lavish lifestyle with the creature comforts a top-rated hotel would offer.
