We were delighted by the front of house team especially the door man and butler. They made our stay and helped us out. The only sad thing was the hotel was full so we couldn't extend our visit!
Slow room service and the coffee machine wasn't great. The flavours were bitter. There were some markings on the curtains and the wall which let the overall standard down a little.
2nd visit, room only deal, quieter area close to Westminster and St James Park underground just across the road. Would definitely return.
The location Brakefast
This is my new favourite hotel in London. We have stayed severally in five star venues, each with strong points, but this one has it all! Exceptional service across the board from front of staff through to cleaning provision (really immaculate clean and I’m a stickler). Executive lounge a lovely oasis within an oasis and staff most attentive for the breakfast offering there. Lovely all round touches from free ice cream ribbons and a Paddington book for the children through to late night coffee offerings for a hard working husband in the business centre. Hard to come up with how they might do better. The standards are very high and the clientele well behaved whilst the location is convenient for pretty much everything. Just a wonderful place to immerse yourself in, thoroughly recommend.
The blue boar restaurant a bit of a chequered experience, we were a little neglected, though the food was rather nice.
