Pros: I originally was trying to book this hotel via the QANTAS website however they had problems, so I rang the hotel direct and they were most helpful. Not only did they book me in, but they beat the original price and converted it for me to $AUD for my small brain.
I drove to SFO from LAX - on arrival bell hop service was excellent, didn't miss any bags or jackets that were in my car.

Pros: We've stayed at the NYC Marquis Times Square so we figured we would get the same experience at the San Fran location But not the case at all... the gentleman that assisted us with check in wasn't pleasant. We weren't to happy about the double bed room or the tub that stopped up. Moving forward we know every Marquis isn't the same except for the parking rate, it's $75 no matter what location.

Pros: We stayed in an Imperial Club Room which was like a suite and means I would expect the comfort and luxury we got for the price we paid. My reviews are totally based on this and obviously if you stayed in a normal room you will have a different experience. Extra things are included when you pay for an Imperial Club Room. We also requested a quiet room if possible so were high up and had no issues with noise (this was based on previous reviews where people had issues with noise).

Pros: I LOVE that Parc 55 is pet friendly! We brought along our German Shepherd and they were more than welcoming. The hotel was the PERFECT location for Pride. We were feet away from the parade route and also were able to see the parade from our room. The pool was “amazing” (to quote my 13yo son). Parc 55 made this weekend a perfect weekend getaway for my son, pup, and I.

We had an issue with something called casting where you can view videos on the TV, to be honest, I really didn't care about it but my wife did. The tech support team was great, they came right up when we reported the problem, determined it wasn't going to work and they offered us 3 free movie coupons for our inconvenience. On our last day at the hotel, our flight didn't leave till 7 pm, we asked for a 4pm late checkout and despite the fact the hotel was booked solid, they gave it to us. I stay at this hotel most of the time I travel to SF, it's a great location, reasonably priced with lots of restaurants and stores at ones fingertips and the Bart station right outside the door making getting to and from SFO painless and inexpensive!

Pros: Although the hotel is getting an exterior facelift, the facilities were great. They are affiliated with the Marriott and Marriott rewards program. There is a nice restaurant and bar adjacent to the lobby area. Our room was spacious and clean. Also, there was free wifi throughout the property, which didn't need a password, very convenient for jumping on and off of the network. There was a little doggy bowl at the front desk, so I would assume that they are pet friendly.

Pros: The rooms are very small, the water pressure in the shower was extremely low it took me 30 minutes to take a normal shower when usually it takes me 10 minutes.
It is very unusual to when the room dose not have a lock on the door I find that out after walking in to the restroom and embarrassing myself in front of my coworker room has two beds that means there is more than one person sleeping in your room that one person doesn't have to be a family member this case you was my coworker

Pros: The location is excellent! I visited for an event at the Moscone centre and the location couldn't have been more ideal. The exhibition centre was just a short walk away, all the shops were close too, aswell as China Town and the Northern Quarter! The hotel is also right on the tram route. The location really couldn't have been better!!

I have stayed in other SF hotels in the past and Hotel Zelos is a nice addition to the city. City hotel rooms can sometimes be small but the rooms at Zelos are very spacious!
I also would like to say thank you for an overall smooth and fun experience! From booking on line with Kayak to speaking directly with the hotel, to checking in & out, everyone was super friendly and consistently would go out of their way to be helpful.

Pros: I liked that we were able to find a great place on such short notice. The Manager on Duty, I think her name was Susan, was very helpful after one of the reservation agent accidentally mixed up our checkout time- and another Agent Brandon wasn't very kind to us.
I ate most of my meals at the hotel, breakfast lunch and dinner- and I had three different bartender/servers during my stay that were all so very pleasant. Some even gave me directions to buy a hoodie at a nearby store because I didn't realize it would be colder there this time of year still.
And the chef made me an awesome salad when I wanted to exchange tuna for chicken on the salad that comes with Lemon Dressing- it was absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend this substitution as the combination of greens and dressing go amazing with Tuna! It will cost you 2 dollars more as Tuna is more expensive (rightfully so) but it I ate the entire thing. I couldn't stop myself.

Loved the clean, but modernized antique details, soothing colors, and the fact that the overall look was not as overdone/over designed as many other hotels in which I have stayed. Proves that style need not cost $400 a night! No competition in my book in this price range for as stylized a place as this hotel happens to be. I would gladly skip some of the other 4 star amenities such as a pool or super large lobby to stay somewhere this lovely and reflective of my own lifestyle. Thank goodness I didn't have to stay in a big bland box hotel chain with cherry furniture and 1990 floral print bedspreads! My vacation was so much better as a result.

Pros: Loved the boutique vibe that the hotel has, it seems SF is lacking modern hotels that are similar to the Ace and plentiful of tacky hotels. The decor is very minimal, with concrete floors- it feels similar to a loft you would want to live in. The restaurant downstairs had a really great brunch and the staff were very friendly. The actual location is pretty central, so it's not that difficult to leave the touristy area of Union Square.
