The hotel offered a lot of activities in the ground foyer which was really cool. We loved the styling and the design of the interior space because it was lively and inviting. Our room was the two queen size bed, and it had a generous amount of space. The bed was super comfortable and we had plenty of room to store luggages and bags. When walking around we found that we were really close to a couple of key attractions and hidden gems of San Francisco. The staff was super friendly and really helpful.
The location to surrounding attractions is very good the concierge was amazing very helpful and the atmosphere was great. Really enjoyed my stay.
Of an evening the court yard can be heard (I took a room with a balcony overlooking it), so I can’t be so hard
The room was super nice and spacious and the hotel overall was in a good spot I spent a majority of my time away from the hotel but it was very convenient anytime I needed to go back it was right there nearby whatever I was doing on the piers or the fisherman's wharf. Parking was okay.
I like this location better than the hotel itself nothing against the hotel it's just very basic. Didn't seem like they was a wide variety of restaurants nearby. Felt kind of expensive for a hotel that seems kind of ordinary and lacking features. Parking was expensive
Activities in lounge area and proximity to pier 39.
Walls a little thin could hear people in the hallways and people playing darts next door. Pillows not very comfortable.
Cool property. But the room smelled like urine and overly of cleaning supplies to try and cover the urine.
The smell and the bed was hard
Hotel Zephyr is conveniently located in the Fisherman’s Wharf district on San Francisco Bay. It’s a close three-minute walk to Pier 41, and it’s only five short miles from the Golden Gate Bridge. Given its location, it is fitting that the hotel features a nautical theme throughout the property.
The rooms are well-lit and airy, giving guests the sense of freedom they would feel if they were on a seafaring ship. There are minifridges, coffee makers and smart TVs to round out the experience. Some of the rooms feature balconies on which guests can relax, enjoy the free Wi-Fi and the amazing scenery. The bay lies below, as does the wharf. There are also suites with both one and two bedrooms and these have windows and sitting areas that go from the floor to the ceiling, creating a sense of size that is at once larger than life and comforting.
The hotel has a gym so guests can keep in shape during their stay. When it’s time to just hang out, the hotel’s lounge is the spot. It features contemporary design elements. Guests can head there for a game of pool or they can slip outside to the terrace and enjoy the fire pits and sculptures that decorate the area.
For eats, the Fire and Brew Restaurant offers good food for a variety of palates, and there is a business center as well.
Hotel Zephyr is a nice place to both relax and remain productive while enjoying the amenities.
