Pros: Very well situated in the Medina. Breakfast was exceptional with plenty of fruit.
Cons: Light came through the windows at night. It needed curtains over the windows to block out the light.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We had a very warm welcome by the staff. The room was enormous and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and actually rather healthy, with an abundance of fruit.
Cons: There was no wall or door between the bedroom and the bathroom. The only separation was a curtain - not ideal.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice small riad. Very spacious room and well decorated. the staff was very friendly ans informative. The breakfast was top!
Cons: The room had a small heater that was not working nad it was a bit chill.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: -the best riad we stayed at in all of morocco (including marrakech, ouarzazate, fes) including cleanliness, amenities quality, access to free coffee, water, small lounge area to read -best breakfast of all riads-plentiful fruit, yogurt, pastries, fresh juice -service went the extra distance-limitless moroccan sweets and mint tea provided every time we came back to riad. one of the staff even went with us to the store they purchase the sweets at. provided advice on other cities in morocco we were planning to visit as well
Cons: -nothing much-wifi could have been a bit more consistent -instructions on how to open the door a bit clearer but otherwise you can figure it out!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was very good and it is convenient for taking the train
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast, lovely staff, beautiful room. A bit pricey but great place to stay
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly. This riad is very beautiful inside. Simple but elegant design. Rooms were cozy. You can work and relax at the dining area and on the rooftop. We had a relaxing and great stay here :)
Cons: No one was in the hotel to open the door for us when we arrived. We waited for a long time outside the hotel with all our luggages. In one of the rooms where we stayed, there was no bathroom door, only curtains. Whatever you do in the bathroom can be heard in the room.

Pros: We had a wonderful stay. The staff were friendly, helpful, kind and most accommodating. We arrived past midnight, but they still welcomed us with an absolutely delicious lentil soup. It’s very well situated in the Medina, quiet, comfortable and clean.

Pros: Everything was perfect, and the host...a true maroccain hospitality. Thank you Fatima
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful restored riad, with some fabulous rooms with 4 poster beds, stained glass, wonderful floor tiling & traditional rugs, and comfort in the furnishings. A mix of modern and traditional in its artistic details the place had me always looking at how each room was decorated. The roof areas - on several levels - was great, and good for relaxing on with a tray of mint tea. Breakfast was varied, personally presented, and the coffee was strong & delicious. Each day's breakfast was slightly different. The plants and table/chairs in the central courtyard was so pretty and made a nice place to be welcomed. Staff were helpful & very friendly. The location was brilliant - down 2 quiet medina streets, close enough to the sea & Kasbah, but quiet & short walk to a few excellent restaurants. This was the most luxurious riad we chose in our trip of the north of Morocco, but not the most expensive, It was a delight to stay here. Value for money with luxury!
Cons: One point only: I think it would be better to not permit smoking in the courtyard in the centre of the riad, & limit it to the rooftop terrace only. Smoking in a public space is now not what we expect from UK & other places too. It was rather off putting during one breakfast for us as non-smokers, even though we were in a lovely room off the courtyard (doors open for the season. Yes, we discretely closed them but that felt a bit awkward!)
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All meals were perfect. Best service ever. Location is absolutly perfect.Thank you once again

Pros: nice room and environment
Cons: hot water not enough for a bath
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff. I had an amazing stay.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Dar Maysanne was an incredibly tranquil, calm retreat from the minute you walked through the huge, ornate wooden doors into the beautiful inner courtyard from the busy medina outside. The quiet hospitality of our hosts & attention to the comfort of all their guests was very much appreciated. The beautiful inner courtyard with it's lush plants & dozens of lit candles in the evenings was enchanting. Our room was large & typically Moroccan with double basins & a huge double raised sunken bath which was a luxurious way to end of each day of sightseeing with lovely large towels & gorgeous smelling handmade toiletries. The offer of tea upon arrival with homemade biscuits was a lovely welcome touch & was always on offer throughout our stay as well as freshly squeezed orange or apple juice & a range of teas & coffee. Wonderful homemade breakfast was served each morning with slight variations on each of the 5 days we stayed. We enjoyed a rather romantic evening dinner for just the two of us one evening which was served beside a crackling fire to take off the evening chill . Simple but homecooked tagine & couscous & apple tart to follow was very enjoyable. We absolutely loved our stay at Dar Maysanne.
Cons: There was nothing we didn't like apart from we found the bed rather hard - but this is a personal thing. However, when we mentioned it the following morning of our first night - we were staying for 5 nights - they very kindly offered & added a topper to our matress which did make it a little softer.

7,0 Good
Cons: Hamman was in "renovation" so not accessible. A bit noisy since the only windows of the room are opening on the cover patio where you have the restaurant and reception
7,9 Good
Pros: The riad has a recent renovation keeping a sort of classical decor. The first night, we stayed in a room turned to the entrance of the riad. This is a very busy street and so a bit noisy. Then, on the second night we had a surprise, has the hotel team was super kind and changed us to a better room and very quiet. Good breakfast. Generally very clean. Good WiFi. Very friendly staff.
Cons: The room where we stayed in the first night was noisy, but after relocating for a different room indeed we enjoyed a lot more our stay. Also on the room of the first night we found a gillette razor from a previous customer. That was not the best welcoming gift. :(
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredibly helpful and eager to please. We were leery of staying in the medina, but this location was not full of people, our room was VERY quiet, and a great place from which to start our first walking tour. I wish we’d had more time to enjoy a snack or a meal on the rooftop terrace.
Cons: Our room was a bit cramped and on two levels: a chaise, desk, and small clothes hanging area. The bedroom and bathroom were downstairs down a tight spiral staircase. Would be interested in exploring their other rooms.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Style, decoration
Cons: Breakfast
9,6 Excellent
Pros: An excellent riad on the edge of the old medina. The design is very nice and cosy. The rooms were clean. They have an elevator which is rare for an old riad. The staff were super friendly and very helpful in every way especially Rasheed.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent! Is the first word that comes to mind when describing L'alcazar. The staff is friendly and eager to assist you. The manager (fluently) speaks multiple languages. He Arranged a taxi for to the airport in Casablanca for an affordable price. I asked him to set up a table on the rooftop terras to enjoy a romantic dinner while watching the sunset. He made the arrangements and it really felts like an exclusive dinner for two. L'alcazar costs a little more than the average Riad but you receive a premium service in return. One would almost forget thaat next to the great service, the Riad itself is eloquently decorated and a joy in its own right. I recommend anyone visiting Rabat to stay in L'alcazar
Cons: n/a

Pros: We had a great stay here. Ismail greeted us and was hugely helpful. He showed us around the hotel, gave us suggestions for shopping and eating, and remembered our names whenever we saw him. He made our stay very special. We have already recommended this hotel to our friends.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was recommended to my by a member of the Embassy staff, which probably gives a good idea of what one should expect: comfort without ridiculous expense, excellent central location and professional staff. In fact that last point doesn't really do the staff justice: I was welcomed like a long-lost friend by Salah who looked out for me for the rest of my brief stay, ensuring that I had everything that I could possibly need including complimentary drinks and canapes. The room was comfortable and clean with everything I required; the restaurant served an excellent lunch (and dinner) and the bar provided great snacks (club sandwich, burger etc). I didn't have the opportunity to use the pool or gym so can't comment. All in all Le Diwan represents outstanding value for money with staff who really do go the extra mile.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The personnel attention is fantastic, specially Ismail from the front desk and Mr. Salah that helped me a lot in with my luggage.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk, especially Mr. Omar, Mr. Ismail - just ask them for assistance and you will understand what I mean. Also, Salah, Hamza and others were very nice.
Cons: Cannot think of anything.
4,6 Okay
Pros: The staffs, specially MR.Saleh he is helpful. I would like to thank him.

Pros: Everything. It is very charming with beautiful gardens. Wonderful place to relax
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Loved every bit of it.. !! Its location, the property itself located in orange orchard.. the bougainvillea.. it was beautiful
7,5 Good
Pros: The place: I came with my sister to relax a little bit. And knowing Rabat, I went straight away for Souissi as the neighborhood is far from the hustle and bustle of the city. Then you arrive to the hotel and it's just quite and peaceful. Perfect location, dreamy and bucolic place. You can just get lost in the garden and forget that there is an outside world. Room: clean, comfortable bedding, very nicely decorated. View over the garden. Asked for a quiet room with bathtub and double bed. And we got what we asked for. Pool: pool spotless clean and neat. Perfect size and depth. You have sunbeds and towels. Thumbs up for the discretion of the staff by the pool. Helpful staff too.
Cons: Global feeling with the staff (except pool and room service): you definitely feel that there is a treatment for Moroccans and for foreigners. Definitely! And especially the young lady at breakfast. Foreigners to be served first even if you were before in line. Thank you! It's very sad not to feel welcomed in your own country. I work in hospitality and my sister and I have traveled the world so we have something to compare to. Arrival: No welcome drink or something to welcome you in the room. Front Desk: Poor c/in experience. Arrived to a staff barely smiling. No genuine smile or warm welcome. Basically you don't feel welcome or expected. Staff talking to each other and answering phone while you just stand there wondering what's going on. Express c/in with very little communication. IDs, sign here, stay already prepaid, here are your keys, my colleague will escort you. Room service: By the pool, Moroccan salad was good, club sandwich nothing exceptional and needed some toothpick to hold it all together but the fries didn't look nor taste fresh and arrived barely warm. Also bread looks store bought. Room service in the evening, we asked for an omelette au fromage not too cooked with some thé gourmand. Omelette didn't taste good and was dry and you couldn't feel cheeses. Bread again looked store bought and one the two pieces was soggy. Pastries were okay but didn't taste homemade. We called room service a second time before the order arrived because we forgot to ask for a big water bottle. Called 6 times but nobody never answered. Order arrived and the waiter had to go back to get the water bottle. On a side note, a basic standard in hospitality is that the waiter should ask if he could come in. Breakfast: Poor breakfast buffet. Staff need to be trained to be more hospitable. We asked for one egg à la coque for my sister and scrambled eggs for me. Prices: Food overpriced for what you get.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place The gardens, the pool, the rooms everything is just great!

Pros: The staff, the decoration…
Cons: The pretty terrace is unfortunately only of limited use: in the mornings and evenings the cushions are wet because of the high humidity. breakfast is disturbed by a gigantic plague of wasps. Wifi with big breaks.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Above and beyond service with well thought out touches, eg closing and soundproofing the windows before we retired. A welcome plate of cakes and fruit and fantastic local knowledge. The owner even gave me a frozen bag a couscous to put on a swollen ankle ! The room was spacious and tastefully decorated with lovely soft pillows. There was a the most beautiful roof terrace with many plants and places to sit and enjoy the weather
Cons: The amount of bees/wasps that were a round at breakfast time on the terrace
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The host. Gorgeous character ready to provide advice and assistance to ensure you enjoy your total experience. An oasis in this ancient walled city. Beautiful riad. Totally recommend.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast and dinner service. Staff and owners are extremely lovely people. It was really fantastic experience.
Cons: Location is quite strange for first time coming.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The staff at this place is amazing and always willing to serve. We had the dinner they offer, served on the terrace, which was wonderful. The rooms were comfortable with great decor and lots of added amenities.
Cons: The neighborhood can be confusing and easy to get lost in.
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: There is not much that I like about this place. Really think it is overrated.
Cons: 1. Accessibility. There is no way to park close to the riad. First day it took us 1 hour extra to get there. The owner never told us in advance, there is no way to get there by car but only on foot. In a good weather day, it might be not a big deal, just pass through some dirty streets, but in a rainy day, it is very very very dirty to your shoes and suit case rolling on the floor. But watch out when you walk there in the night. Did not feel very safe. 2. Noisy. You can hear what is from the street, talks and motorbike even in the night, 24/7. As well as what is happening inside the riad. 3. Communication. Besides the owner who is not there mostly, it is very hard to communicate with the staff there.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The very warm welcome. Very informative and friendly host and staff. Everyone very polite and helpful. The terrace was gorgeous. The breakfast great and plentiful. The dinner was a little expensive but the service was premium. Thanks for everything.
Cons: Just that we could not pay with card due to a connection problem the day we left.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Repose was one of the best places I've stayed in Morocco. Jan and Rachid have done an amazing job with their renovations, and there is more to come! The terrace is absolutely lovely. Our room (the Chefchaouen suite) felt like Aladdin's Castle. The breakfast is huge and the coffee is good. Our vegetarian dinner was great, too. Massage and other treatments are available. The location is away from all the touristy stuff, tucked in the Sale Medina. Simply unique and wonderful!
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great, the breakfast was amazing, the air-conditioning worked really well, the entire set up was fantastic. We even booked massages there that were great. Jan was such a fab host, showing us the map, walking us through things, and generally being hilarious and kind.
Cons: It really was a great place, I can't think of anything I didn't like, if you stay in the African suite, the only small recommendation I would make is to shut the bathroom window at night, we had it open the first night and it was quite noisy in the night and morning with mopeds and people, we shut it (and the bathroom door) on the second night and didn't hear anything, it was perfect.

A real palace with an international reputation, its history is closely tied to the great conferences and international events that have taken place within the kingdom.
7,4 Good
Pros: The staff is amazingly friendly - the Hotel is in a perfect location with a lovely garden The restaurants are excellent.
Cons: There is no communication between the different entities in Hotel. So things go wrong (like with us - we had to change rooms twice in a three night visit AND EVEN then we did not get what we asked for but we just gave up, It was either that or letting it ruin our vacation. We got a room with no shower - then we got one with a shower but with a flooded toiletfloor which could have killed as I slipped when entering during the night. Then room nr. 3 AGAIN had no shower and a Light that had the 200V on the metal so when you touched it you felt the current. The Hotel is a bit tired It used to be HILTON. It needs a makeover. As I said, we gave up but will not return as the staff just sail how sorry they were but never ever considered maybe making it up by offering a better room. We stayed it the same poor ailse of room 701-730. Dismal experience.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the exquisite service I have revived , and the employees who served me especially at Patio during the breakfast , I recall Mrs. Bouchra , Mrs. Safia and Mr. Zoubair were beyond professional. Thank you all and I hope I come back to this lovely place
6,7 Good
Cons: Facility is out of time
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: My previous experiences of previous stays.
Cons: I use to stay in Sofitel Rabat Jardin Des Roses since ages. My stay experance were outstanding all times, until yesterday. Check in was a mess. Room was not ready. Vacuum cleaner was on inside the room. Drinking water, towels were not there and the balcony were not clean. thankfully, the bellboy was with me and has contacted the housekeeping team to solve this issue The worst comes after I spent sometime outside my room. The room key did not open the room. I went downstairs to report the issue to front desk team. The guy was like “OMG - this is not your key, this is the House Keeping Master key. This key can open all rooms” obviously, housekeeping team disabled the key when they realised they lost it. The WIFi password did not work. I reported this to front desk team and they answered me like you do not how to spill your name we will send you someone to help!! A technician showed up. He found out my last name is entered wrongly in their system. He fixed this by entering his email ID to allow me to access the standard service!! I personally, do not leave negative feedback about any hotel but the my experience with the Sofitel went beyond my all expectations.

Pros: Even though the hotel was undergoing renovation and construction we had the best stay ever in Morocco. Got a upgrade to a suite with full accommodation. Best design, even the details. I want to wake up in a suite like that every morning. Nothing was impossible, great shoutout to the staff! Looking forward to the new update and will definitely come back again.
Cons: Nothing. Couldn’t use the main pool but we got the villa pool al by ourselves. Magnificent!

5,4 Okay
Pros: The building and rooms are great, very well done. The bed was comfortable and bathroom well done. One server in bar was excellent and professional.
Cons: The staff needs to be trained! They are smiling and helpful, but we had several serious issues- keys never worked, so had to wait in hall each time for someone to come up and open. Had to ask twice and wait over one hour to get extra pillows. On checkout, was told credit card declined, so called bank in US($100 call) only to learn it was their machine not working properly. Breakfast awful, except for an excellent omelette.lots of potential, but please invest in your talent that clearly wants to please.

7,0 Good
Cons: Hamman was in "renovation" so not accessible.

I was charged for two rooms on the 30th of September for my mistake. The hotel was not full so I thought they might cut me a break since we did stay a night. They did not.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: First off, the hotel staff were a great bunch! Friendly, personable and provided excellent service. Stayed in one of the rooms that overlooks the amazing garden of the hotel and the pool. THe Epicurien restaurant is a must to try, amazing service, beautiful presentation.

Pros: Place and location and nice room Pineapple juice when we arrived
Cons: Food was cold, not fresh (breakfast) we could see it was done days before and they warmed it again. Butter was melted, they do not respect the cold chain which is not acceptable and dangerous and we found a worm in the breakfast Staff is rude at reception. We asked several times for cards (to enter the room) to be replaced as they rarely worked. Rooms were not ready when we arrived.
