Riu Fisherman’s warf is a great place to stay if you’re visiting SanFran. It’s very close to cable car access. The Trollley drives right by. 3min walk to Fisherman’s warf. Rooms are nice and large. Breakfast buffet is 10/10.

Pros (+) Great location to walk to wharf/pier/ cruise locations and variety of restaurants. . Nice hotel. Outdoor firepits for eating and drinking really great value during COVID restrictions
Cons (-) It would have been nice to be able to access movies or our own streaming accounts on the awesome/ large TV screen. Local cable tv offerings were many, but not particularly interesting.

Pros (+) Staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Room was clean and physically comfortable. Location is nice for sightseeing.
Cons (-) This was the loudest hotel room that I have ever stayed in. Pedestrian and vehicle traffic outside was so loud in the room that I felt like I was sleeping in the middle of an intersection. This noise lasted until 10-11 pm every night and started up again at 430 every morning. Pros (+) Location was close to the wharf area. Room size was very generous.
Cons (-) A lot of noise at night even though I was on the highest floor. Bathroom is very old and small. Someone stole my iPad while I was there so safety concerns.

Pros (+) Was able to check in a couple hours early.
Cons (-) Stayed 1 night. Checked in. 7 hours later get a note in the door that the hot water will be shut off from 11pm-5am. why wasnt i told this at checkin? I wouldnt have stayed. Toilet was broken had to take off the back cover and stick my hand in tank to flush....
