Pros: "Breakfast" was in the lobby and consisted of coffee, tea, and pastries. The venue was very near The Presidio park/neighborhood where the wedding we were attending was held, and also near some nice shops. The rooms were large and included a kitchenette with microwave and refrigerator

Cons: The location was not central and required pricey Uber trips to get to the other wedding events. Also, fresh fruit would have been a welcome addition to the breakfast, since I try to avoid food like pastries.

Pros: The location was great, the room was a nice size and the style of the hotel was cool. The beds were pretty comfy, too although there were no duvet covers on the down comforters.
Cons: Our room smelled strongly of bleach. I had to open the window (thankfully there was a large one) and air it out for hours. No discount was offered for this. also, parking on-site is an additional $40/per night!

Pros: Perfect location on a central street near lots of local hot spots and only a 20 min walk to the waterfront! This hotel exceeded my expectations as we only really boooked it for the free parking but it is a gem, fabulous comfy rooms and some of San Fran is pretty sketchy so it felt good to be in a safe neighbourhood. Lots of food places nearby and the free parking is almost non existent in San Fran so well worth staying here.

Pros: I liked the location, near tourist spots. There were an amazing amount of great restaurants within two blocks of the motel. There was adequate parking. The room was fairly large and comfortable. It was secure, with keyed entry from garage to elevators. The people at the desk were very nice.

Cons: Staff were rude when I complain about the missing thing from my bedroom. Left the sign up for "do not disturb" but maide still went in and cleaned it. I am not suggesting that house keeping stole the things but they were the only ones that went in the room. So sad that management do not care about the reputation of the hotel. WATCH YOUR STUFF!!!!!

Cons: Extreme thin walls, can hear everything within the hotel and going on outside. There is an extreme lack of parking and the 10 spots that are there, are angled, it is impossible to turn around to pull out of the parking lot.

The bed linens smelled strongly of bleach, the bathroom walls were dirty, morning pastries were dry and tasted generic, the room (201) needs fresh paint. The staff were throwing loads of dirty linens over the railing from the 3rd floor onto the courtyard also. Not good.

Bathrooms retain their retro charm. Nicely located near enough to walk to the wharf, union square, chinatown, etc... if you don't mind hills! Also, a huge perk is the free parking.

Cons: They promised us they would let us check in late when we had to catch a late flight, when we got there there was nobody to be seen. We were left stranded at 1am with nowhere to sleep.
Once we were able to check in the next day the towels and pillow covers had stains, the toilet had not been cleaned properly, the walls were paper thin and the shower had no pressure. The towels were also thin and rough like sandpaper.
The manager lied to us and said he was there waiting for us that night and refused a refund.

Cons: It wasn’t the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed at but it worked out perfectly for this trip. We spent most of the time exploring the city anyway. I think there are a few minor things that could be done to improve the stay experience - like a towel hook or two in the bathroom and a mirror outside the bathroom would be great!

Pros: The guy who answered the phone/works the front desk is really nice. I called several times because I'm the type to over worry and he was really friendly- didn't get annoyed at all. The room was overall really clean, decent, and overall everything was pleasant. Bless the tv though they had good channels unlike other hotels. I booked this hotel because of the cheap price and expected less but I actually really enjoyed it. Not bad at all.

We had to call and complain a number of times about the people across the way who were doing incredibly suspicious things all hours of the night. Seemed like they lived there. Also, while it’s free parking, the stops are small and it is almost impossible to park decently so be prepared to back in and out at least 5 times. There were clothes and shoes all over the atrium and we asked about them and the staff said they let workers of the wharf (I think?) leave their clothes there which is totally fine but they were sloppily thrown EVERYWHERE and really gave a terrible first impression.

Cons: Overall the property needs maintenance and proper clean - when we arrived an earbud/Q tip was next to the bed and when we left 3days later it was still there. Lots of furniture was scraped/needed attention and the carpet was in a sad condition. Bath had a yellow tint to the bottom that will probably not be cleaned with bleach anymore. Comparing to other prices in SF this was average priced but traveling from other areas in USA for the same price we had much better breakfasts - To give you an idea -we stop eating there although breakfast was free... The cable TV stopped working halfway through the night and when I went to ask at reception the guy was just as clueless as me if switching in off/on didn't work(which it didn't for the rest of the night).

Cons: The AC/HEATER did not work. The room had a horrible smell. Sheets were stained. Parking was on a "first come first serve" basis.

Cons: no hot water in shower, no comforter on bed, envelope in room for tips, cleaning staff hovered outside the room waiting for us to leave at 8am.

Cons: There's zero washcloths. I mean none at all. I've never ever been to a hotel with no washcloths. I mean really. And the AC wouldn't stay on in the room. It took forever to get cool. Just trash. Never again. Why are you in business?
