Cute historic hotel. Little touches made the stay bearable like bathrobes and nice toiletries, good k-cups and very helpful staff.
The beds and pillows! Come on people! Step this up. Our bed was like a plank on a saw horse and the pillows well, no fluffing those flat pancakes up. Very uncomfortable bed. If you can fix that you’ve got a deal and we’d stay there every time we come to the city!
You can buy breakfast and dinner at the cafe in the hotel. Bar doesn't open until 5 but the bartender was great. Loved the neighborhood. Old world charm decor. Our bathroom had been upgraded, very nice.
Breakfast is not included as reported. No air conditioning so room can be stuffy. You can open windows but no screens and noisy street until late at night.
A lovely old colonial style building
The hotel is full of charm. It was locate conveniently for my purposes. The staff was so friendly.
The restaurarnt was closed two of the three days that I was there. The third day there was only one person who couldn't manage anything (we left). Truly a shame, because it is a lovely looking place. On arrival, there was no porter to help us with our bags.
Rooms with character, friendly/helpful staff, convenient location
Not much parking outside to drop off baggage
