Ice was in the garage
We were pleased with our experience in every respect. Absolutely no disappointment or frustration. All good.
Design and nicely furnished, good location close to bus stops
Double beds are too small, sleeping with someone else in one of those bed is really uncomfortable. The staff tried to propose an alternative solution and change room, but with additional fees. After one month in the US, queen size bed are the standard, why put such small beds in your rooms ? I did not pay attention when I booked, it was so obvious for me that beds would be queen size...
Good room, excellent location far from the touristy corners of the city but well enough connected to see all the interesting parts of the city. The hotel was just what I expected, and small details, like the excellent complementary coffee in the lobby, made the stay excellent.
The pastries were very yummy. The coffee and tea offered was great. I loved that there was water (ice) available at all times. The afternoon cookies were "the bomb"!! Warm cookies in the afternoon...perfection! The cleaning staff was very thorough and friendly. The front desk people were friendly and very helpful with many things! We were able to check-in early, an unexpected surprise!!
At one point we really didn't want to go for a meal. It may be a good idea to offer small plates/sandwiches, munchies at the bar next door. Nothing to fancy!
