Best Lucan hotelsShow all
Pros: Bernadette and Andrew were incredibly sweet and very welcoming. They thought of everything and were very accommodating. Strongly recommend if you like that personal experience and having a place that doesn’t feel so much like a hotel. We sure did!
Pros: The hosts provide such amazing personal attention from check-in to a customized breakfast in the morning. Room was clean and comfortable. Great location, only a few minutes from the airport and close to a great pub and shopping center. Will stay here anytime we're in Dublin!
Pros: Location is very convenient for the Dublin airport and easily walkable to village of Swords. Hosts were very welcoming and gave us valuable information about the surrounding area and suggestions for restaurants and pubs. Accomodations were very nice and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We needed to leave prior to the usual breakfast time and the hosts agreed to serve us early. Highly recommend!!

Kettles is within easy access of the M1, M50 and N2 motorways and is 20 minutes from Croke Park Stadium and The O2. The Inn Lounge serves breakfast and a wide selection of bar food, including a lunch-time carvery menu. There is live entertainment at weekends, including traditional music. Just a short journey away is Swords main town centre which has a number of shops and restaurants all within easy reach.
Pros: Looking for somewhere local to shopping but away in a quiet rural area an Kettles hotel really fits the bill. really enjoyed my short stay ,friendly staff with a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend this Hotel.
Cons: Nothing I didn't like about Kettles hotel
Pros: Everything else was perfect
Cons: Bedroom was too warm. Dividing door between rooms I could hear two Germans talking clearly.
Pros: Very clean hotel, rooms and hallways alike, cozy and spacious room, good amenities, spacious parking. Quite a good breakfast too. Quiet surroundings. Easy access.
Cons: The fan in the bathroom stayed on during the whole night. Tried to de-activate by removing the card from the key card wall slot, but that did not help. Found out only when we went to breakfast and returned (and it was quiet) that you have to take the card out for quite a long while - maybe 5 or 10mins maybe more? When we said it to the guy at the reception, he did not seem too moved, said sorry and "yeah might be more than 5mins" and moved on. One of those hotels where they ask you how was your stay just to keep a decorum but no interest in what you reply. Also - WiFI did not work in the room at all, signal so weak it could not connect. Used my hotspot to connect. When I've seen receptionist lack of interest, I skipped telling him and just left.
Pros: Very clean friendly staff room was gorgeous
From Premier Inn Dublin Airport it´s only a 10 minutes drive to the airport and 12 kilometers to the center of Dublin. Facilities include reception, bar, restaurant, conference room, WiFi and parking. Rooms with bathroom/shower, hairdryer, telephone, TV, WiFi (extra charge), iron, trousers press, tea/coffee maker and air conditioning. Dublin, Ireland
Pros: The staff were very helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean. The restaurant in the hotel was AWESOME! We were impressed.
Cons: We had to pay for the shuttle to and from the hotel. It was not expensive but we thought it was free. The ride was about 15 min to airport and shuttle runs hourly. The hotel is worth the extra distance from airport.
Pros: Proximity to the airport
Cons: Dirty room, poor front desk service, ice cold room that wouldn't heat up.
Pros: Everything. Just perfect
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Stayed at many premier inns in uk all very good and great value for money
Pros: The value for money with the proximity to the airport. I could not fault this hotel.
Pros: Really handy location for airport, shuttle is frequent and drops you right at the door. Staff were friendly, rooms very clean and comfortable, very good value. Nice little bar/lounge downstairs, also a vending machine which is handy for late night snack. Perfect place to spend a night before or after a flight.
Cons: Food is the restaurant was only ok, but apart from that we liked everything and will definitely stay before our next flight.
Pros: It was an excellent price for the quality of the room!
Cons: The shuttle to the airport should be free.
Pros: Comfort of the beds
Cons: Front door terrible slow revolving
Pros: Breakfast was better than many 4 stars I have been
Cons: Poor selection of channels on TV
Pros: Easy get to airport.
Pros: Good value, very comfortable

Pros: Hotel is very nice with the the amentities of a golf course hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was very nice and well maintained. We had a room with two beds that were more than adequate for our needs. I think this is a good value hotel and it is convenient to the airport without being too close.
Cons: The only thing I did not like about the hotel was the entrance to the hotel. There is no good way to turn your car around to head back to the parking lot. After you get back in your car you are pointing to the back of the hotel and it is very poorly designed as there is no good way to head towards to parking lot.
Pros: Everything else
Cons: Breakfast was too cold
Pros: Close to the airport, friendly staff, good value for money, comfy room.
Pros: The room was excellent, perfect for a weekend away
Pros: Clean comfortable and spacious rooms, this hotel is set on a golf course which provides a pretty landscape to admire. Food and bar staff were very pleasant.
Cons: There were cleaners outside my room each morning before 9am speaking loudly to each other in Polish, not great if you were in this lovely hotel to relax and catch up on a good nights sleep!
Pros: Staff were lovely, pool was great. Very clean. Room was excellent
Cons: Wasn't very child friendly

Pros: The lady on the reception when we arrived was very friendly & it made us feel very relaxed straight away. There was no hassle with checking in or out & it made our stay very easy. The heated seats in the fancy smoking area were a lovely touch in the cold weather.
Pros: friendly, helpful staff, good location, good breakfast
Pros: Loved the built in tea cozy; bed was comfy but I was exhausted; it was not great.

Pros: Good price.

Pros: Great location close to Dublin airport. Staff in the bar & restaurant area were very friendly. Nice room, good food and a good bar.
Pros: Friendly energetic staff. great buzz in the bar. room was quiet, clean, comfortable.
Pros: Location is fine but beware of public parking times and charges.
Cons: No hot water available and no offer of discount for inconvenience. Didn't know until I had checked in that breakfast wasn't available until 9am! Never stayed in B&B/hotel that served breakfast so late. Bedside light and TV remote not working. When I asked for a discount for lack of hot water I was told that I would have to contact head office as they couldn't(or wouldn't?) do that on site.
Pros: Awesome little place in an awesome little town. Bar and restaurants on the premises, as well as multiple other pubs and restaurants within walking distance of this place. The room was very spacious as well as the shower / bathroom.
Pros: great location in centre of swords
Cons: tv reception and wifi was very poor
Pros: The room was clean and peaceful - far, far nicer than what I had expected to get for the price I paid - and the staff were exceedingly nice! The pub downstairs had a very friendly atmosphere, too.
Cons: I wish my stay had been longer!

Pros: Reception Personal very helpful with restaurant choice and transportation help
Pros: 1. Location, Location, location just 8 minutes drive to the airport. 2. Cozy 3. Comfortable and quite (although you'll imagine that because of it's too close to the airport you'll hear flights noise, but nooo very well insulated) 4. Radiators are actually working
Cons: A bit expensive for B&B. However, it doesn't look like B&B. It's just like a hotel.
Pros: How close to the airport and plenty of parking with large roomy rooms.
Pros: The hotel was easily found and it was very comfortable and warm. Bathroom had a great shower and everything was clean
Cons: Shuttle bus picks you up on the road outside the hotel we almost missed it but for another guest. It could have been explained when we checked in.

Cons: No ac
Pros: Had a shuttle bus to airport and. A small diner. Sheets were clean.
Pros: Close to the airport.
Cons: Walls are paper thin. We didn't have anyone in the room next to us, yet we could clearly hear the couple two rooms away.
Cons: Fire alarm wnt off during the night for 10 secs. No explanation. Specifically asked for wake up call which didn’t come. Hotel generally had an appearance of lack of cleanliness.
Cons: Car park always full
Pros: Nice to have a full sized room and bathroom after the economy rooms of Italy. Water was nice and hot!
Cons: The WiFi is available if you are willing to enter your email and password. Our bathtub was elevated. Stores & mall were about a 10 minute walk away if you didn’t have a car. The shuttle from the airport ends at 23:00.
Pros: I think the upstairs customer had a elephant staying with him, not sure that you are allowed pets? Also alarm went off at 2am
Cons: Everything was very tired, even me after I had been kept awake for half the night
Pros: The location and being pet friendly
Cons: Every time recently I have requested a room in a certain part of the hotel I have been allocated an entirely different one and on check in there are no rooms available to switch
Pros: I loved the experience and would definitely stay there again. And recommend to family and friends. Everything was perfect. Keep up the excellent work
Cons: Not one complaint
Pros: Location, staff friendliness, especially restaurant staff( Viorel and Tatiana) They were friendly, helpful and multilingual

Best rooms in Lucan
With a stay at Moat Lodge in Lucan, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Phoenix Park and War Memorial Gardens. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Nice clean room and good breakfast
Cons: A bit of a trot (and expensive) to get in and out of the city centre by taxi.

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, a 24-hour business center, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: I love this Hotel ,Food is lovely , Its quiet ,yet close to everything you need . The grounds are lovely, and the Christmas decorations are a real bonus to see this time of year .
Cons: There was a private function in the down stairs bar , I understand that it was a private function but we should have been told when we checked in that it was private and that we weren't allowed to use this bar , It wasn't nice to walk in and order drinks and then to be told we couldn't sit or have our drinks there , This is an easy fix .Just put a sign up reading "PRIVATE PARTY "
Pros: Room was so big & clean
Pros: Location & unique style. Wonderful staff.
Cons: Bathroom sink would splash up at you when using other than that perfect
Pros: Felt like coming home. Staff is friendly. Hotel is amazing!
Pros: Nothing. There is no way this is a four, or five star hotel. It was rundown, under-staffed and of generally poor quality.
Cons: Did not like anything about the hotel. It was a bait and switch, 4 star rating and a charming picture but the place was not at all like that. We stayed an "out building" called the "Golf Suite". The ceiling was rotted out above our door outside.
Pros: Great location. Super staff and had best party
Pros: Shower in my room broken and no offer of discount etc. or attempt to fix it, I noted it on the Sat night hoping it might be fixed for Sunday am but it wasnt.
Pros: This establishment is a long standing well operated hotel in a nice location. The facilities and food where adequate but the service let them down.
Cons: Our receptionist Gurindas service was adequate at the start but unfortunately declined to condescending and undermining in nature. I had taken responsibility for an honest mistake made as I had booked the one room for one night twice but since I only realized on day of arrival at check in there was no room for understanding. I was also provided Incorrect information at first that booking.com refused my cancelation request when in reality it was Finnstown hotel. Instead of 160€ for a nights stay in a double room we have no paid 330€. I hope Elaine Breslin in the reservations Team is satisfied with the extra payment taken from my credit card and I would recommend to use these extra funds to conduct training on customer facing hospitality as well as efficient email writing skills as the email communication was lacking in standard of quality one would expect from an establishment such as the Finnstown Hotel. I tried to communicate at an respectful level with the hotel but the have refused my requests. This act is especially upsetting as we are going into the festive season and the financial strain is increased on me and my family. Please be cautious when booking at this establishment....we won’t be staying here again. Thank you
Pros: El hotel en sà es increÃble!! Toda una experiencia desde que llegas. Hermoso en todos los sentidos
Cons: El staff es un poco lento.
Cons: Room not warm
Pros: Lovely so pretty great for a relaxing getaway
Cons: Nothing much around yet
Pros: Old world charm. Being greeted on front step by friendly peacock.
Cons: It's a bit far from everything. But that's exactly what I was looking for.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The hotel was a little dated. Breakfast was quite basic.Overall very average.
Cons: Breakfast and facilities.
Pros: Great breakfasts and the dining room staff there were superb. The reception staff too were obliging and friendly.
Cons: We stayed there on 2 separate occasions during November, 3days & 4 days. I'm Irish and am aware of the renown Ireland has for hospitality & friendliness. I was disappointed that the bar staff limited themselves to service without any conversation or interaction with us. That I'm afraid includes the owner too. The bar staff and owner saw us on numerous occasions during our 7 days there, but never once engaged us in chit-chat or enquiry as to where we were from or about our stay. The owner himself looked directly at us many nights without even a single word. It was evident we were guests staying at the hotel, not just drinking & eating there. The business is clearly successful without the effort to engage people so my gripe probably will be dismissed, but I'm speaking from 40 years customer service experience as a Bank Manager and know what it takes to maintain a relationship and lose one. The bar staff could learn from the staff downstairs in the dining area.
Pros: hiter not work in the room
Pros: Room was booked as a SINGLE and ended up with a TWIN ! The room was a good size with TV and coffee/tea facilities and SHOWER (would have loved a bath)! The bar food was excellent value and quality, as was the breakfast the follwing morning. 9/10
Cons: NO BATH
Cons: Only a single bed crammed up against a wall available to me. This was not made clear when booking the room or on follow up calls that the hotel made to confirm my booking. There was a stained towel in the bathroom also.
Pros: Nice breakfast
Cons: A lot of stairs. No direct access on each level. Difficult goy buggy, impossible for wheelchair.
Pros: Would worth for the money spending. Was comfortable during the stay.
Pros: Staff was nice; good breakfast.
