Cons: The location is amazing of course. But the room was not great. The bathroom had very little counter space or storage (despite being large) and the water pressure was totally unacceptable. I've lived in California my whole life and completely understand a drought, but it was honestly, *barely* spitting on you. The temperature knob was so slow to react that it took 5 minutes to adjust from scalding hot to freezing cold and by that time I just gave up. This is coming from someone who never write reviews... For $600 / night, you expect not to suffer through a shower.

Pros: This hotel is a beautiful hotel and a great location for exploring San Francisco. The family room was a great size, plenty of space for luggage.
Cons: Asked to pay $50 extra to book into the room early even though our room was ready and it was only 20 mins till checkin time. A bit of a joke and the receptionist was very rude when I said no thank you. Also the sofa bed in the family room which is the only bed for the kids was extremely uncomfortable also a joke given the price we paid. Two interconnected rooms would have been better.

Pros: The hotel was alright but the last day qhen we were checking out they issued a wrong check, asking js to pay over 200 dollars extra when the right one ended up being 70 dollars. We complaint to the guy and after asking about every single thing that they were charging us he ended up issuing a new check. Everyone can have a mistake when issuing a check but the guy did not even know ehat they were charging us for but still trying to make us pay that huge ammount of money. I also contacted them before going to the hotel letring them knowthat we would be leaving the hotel one day early to see if they could do anything about it but they did not even reply and when I told them personally when I get there they did not even bother giving me an answer for what I was saying

Pros: The hotel was alright but the last day qhen we were checking out they issued a wrong check, asking js to pay over 200 dollars extra when the right one ended up being 70 dollars. We complaint to the guy and after asking about every single thing that they were charging us he ended up issuing a new check. Everyone can have a mistake when issuing a check but the guy did not even know ehat they were charging us for but still trying to make us pay that huge ammount of money. I also contacted them before going to the hotel letring them knowthat we would be leaving the hotel one day early to see if they could do anything about it but they did not even reply and when I told them personally when I get there they did not even bother giving me an answer for what I was saying

Cons: The hotel does not offer breakfast. As all American hotels, it blocks a lot of your money on the card for no purpose, and then you wait it to come back - they did that without informing me of it. For those who travel for work and have to report on the money spent, this is the situation one cannot explain to the granting agencies - why you paid 700 dollars instead of 500. Then, a window in the bath could not be closed. I got slightly injured when trying to close it.

The staff at checkout didn't even ask me how was my stay, did have good time, zero care for my experience.

Pros: I stayed here on my last visit to San Francisco 7 years ago and had a great experience, so my expectations were already high. It was even better than I remembered! What puts the SF Hyatt Centric into the top tier is the staff. Ms. Luz at the front desk was lovely - keeping me updated with check-in readiness (I was early, the hotel was being accommodating), helpful with check-in & checkout, and informative about the area. She and all the staff including the bellman, breakfast room staff, and housekeeping were friendly and efficient. I was arriving from overseas and had a couple of requests, for this also the pre-arrival communication was prompt and professional. The room was spacious & clean with a comfortable bed and all the amenities you would expect for a hotel of this class. Breakfast was delicious - any breakfast that includes cheeses, salmon, and cooked-to-order omelets gets 5 stars from me! Coffee was quickly refilled, staff was always smiling. Great value for money. 100% would return

There a room from bathtub/toilet and another room was a sink also extra space for making coffee. The bed was fine no problem. Came with 2 free bottle of water, complimentary wi fi. The room was warm that I did not even need a heater on it was still cold outside the wall instillation is pretty good keeping the room warn at night. The best thing I like about the hotel is the fireplace in the lobby . free newspaper to read before you leave for the day to go sight seeing. There is a computer with internet available as well. There is a minibar with refrigerator but there is a service for drink that already in the refrig as well as snack so be careful. Overall experience it was good I maybe be a repeat. I did reserve a room since Feb 1 2019 for new year eve and I got lucky with this room not bad for $300 a night compare to other hotels around Union Square if you book a room too close to new year eve just impossible to get a bargain. the price at other hotel or last minute hotel starting price my guess would be $700.00 a night.

Pros: Breakfast was decent. Food selection not bad. It a free breakfast so, I can say there are waffle, potatoes, sausage, cereal, boiled eggs and of courses coffee room was nice. There a room from bathtub/toilet and another room was a sink also extra space for making coffee. The bed was fine no problem. Came with 2 free bottle of water, complimentary wi fi. The room was warm that I did not even need a heater on it was still cold outside the wall instillation is pretty good keeping the room warn at night. The best thing I like about the hotel is the fireplace in the lobby . free newspaper to read before you leave for the day to go sight seeing. There is a computer with internet available as well. There is a minibar with refrigerator but there is a service for drink that already in the refrig as well as snack so be careful. Overall experience it was good I maybe be a repeat. I did reserve a room since Feb 1 2019 for new year eve and I got lucky with this room not bad for $300 a night compare to other hotels around Union Square if you book a room too close to new year eve just impossible to get a bargain. the price at other hotel or last minute hotel starting price my guess would be $700.00 a night.
Cons: The hall way can be better at cleaning It did not smell that great. Once I gotten into my room I felt better it smell way better than the hall way. It a small hotel so there only one elevator available or else you can use the stairs only if you not using your suitcase. It can be tight when people checking in and checking out.

Cons: Room was small and just okay. Parking was $65 dollars. What really got me was room service. For one order of pancakes and bacon it was $60 after “delivery fee and pre added gratuityâ€. I was not prepared for that crazy amount.

Cons: The price of the room and description did not state that the room would be NEXT to the elevator. When I arrived, they told me this. The room was half the size of the other rooms, very clostrophobic. At the end they were nice enough to change it.

Cons: The room had this giant desk that took up an entire wall and was so unnecessary. It made to room smaller. The grout in the shower was really dirty. And the beds were small and not very comfortable.
