Location, location, location at a decent price. Room was cozy with sufficient space. Staff were courteous and attentive. Beautiful pool in the middle of the city. Lots of windows to let the fresh air in and get a feel of the weather outside.
Bed was a little too soft for my comfort. Views from windows not impressive.
Great location
Close to transort, shops and lots of diners and restaurants
Great hotel. Small enough to be pleasant and cozy yet big enough to offer amenities. Nice location at Union sq. Weird/expensive parking ($70 a night for my truck) and no valet but very nice hotel. I'll definitely stay here again.
The hotel's location close to Union Square and a lot of events and fun
* Old Hotel * Voices of noise and nuisance from outside the hotel * the bathroom it is small
Perfect location and very cute rooms in historic building! Safe environment, lots of great restaurants around.
The beds were not comfortable.
We always enjoy our stay at The Handlery. It's a good location and the staff is always friendly.

the room
the location
the room was very small and it sounded like people were moving furniture above me all the time.
Nothing
The worst hotel experience I've ever had. Even though I did book at the last moment, there was nothing about the hotel to justify a rate of 200 a night. A creepy, worn hotel. A long, darkened hallway leading to a room next to a darkened stairwell, whose door I could barely fit through. The room was small and adequate. Worn carpet, fixtures Small, awkwardly laid out bathroom. Other than the location I can't think of anything to recommend this hotel.
