Location is good
Rooms are old, poorly laid out and dirty
The location was good. Everything else was awful. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it.
Staff was rude, mattress was atrocious (never slept worse in my life, actually had back problems the next day), no comforter on bed, not enough pillows, no blanket for bed, hallway smelled like smoke, asked for a bowl and spoon at bar and it was dirty...
Eventhough there was a mistaken from booking, I would like to say special thanks to hotel staff for kindly service and good assistance.
Perfect location in Union square, so many great shops and restaurants in the vicinity. We needed a rollaway bed for a friend's skin condition and they were very accommodating and even upgraded our room size when they realized it would be too cramped for 2 beds and a rollaway. Good price for San Francisco- everything is overpriced anyway might as well stay in a boutique hotel rather than the Hilton Garden Inn.
Our air conditioning was broken at first and it was 95 degrees the day we checked in so our room was boiling when we came in.
Nice place to stay
Everything was good
