6,3 Good
Pros: Staff is generally helpful and tried their best to meet my needs .
Cons: Bathroom is very old. The view is really terrible The air con is goes hot and cold The staff is very green. They rushed out to ask me to ask me with the check out slip to almost not letting me leave the hotel just because I am taking my small luggage out. They should well know that I have another few more days to stay especially when the hotel almost very very few guests. I feel quite offended as it happened twice as they kept asking me if I have checked out before I leave the hotel in the morning g.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The service was excellent.
Cons: Location was not close to city attractions.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: This is by far the best place to stay in Yangon. Everything was flawless during our stay. Top notch service, great staff, beautiful hotel. Everyone went above and beyond. A huge THANK YOU to Ms. Tin Aye Khine, the guest relations manager/concierge. She was beyond excellent - there's nothing she can't arrange or provide. Truly one of the best concierges in the world. On a scale of 1 - 10, The Strand is a 20 !!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Strand offers the best you can ever expect from a distinguished hotel. We were pampered by our butlers and made welcome by all its attentive staff. And the beauty of the teak beams and marble floors and lacquered furniture... superb!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The best hotel in Yangon! The service and level of details is incomparable to any other hotel I have been. This is really high standard on each level of service. We felt really welcome by the staff and the friendly hostess that guided us. It's quite special how they make you feel at home from the minute you arrive. And a special thanks for Mr. Tom at the reception and Ms. Suzy. We had 2 really good menus in their 2 restaurants supervised by Mr. Patrick Perié.
Cons: To stay only 3 days.......
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Love Love Love -Super friendly staffs -Room is big and very comfortable -Love the high ceiling -Decoration is very classic and elegant -Breakfast is superb
Cons: -Water in the shower room is NOT HOT
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great quality and ultra-spacious room considering its' a 100 years building. The butler and overall services was top-notch. We arrived at around mid-night but found out dental kits were not supplied. The hotel didn't have them but suggested to go out to buy for us. We declined as it's already very late. We planned to buy them our own next morning. When we went out for breakfast the next day, the butler was standing outside our room with tooth brushes in her hands. The breakfast was among the best À la cart breakfast I ever had. We were spoiled with choices every morning. (OTOH, the famous high-tea was nothing to write home about.)
Cons: Sound proofing issues. The hotel moved us to the most expensive Strand Suite in the first night because the guests next to our original room were super noisy. On the 2nd and 3rd night, we had another room facing the side street and didn't have any issue in getting into sleep.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel with high ceilings and spacious room with table and 4 armchairs, floor -to-ceiling curtains with remote control, king-size comfortable bed, great service from the doormen to the cafe' and historic bar, butler service on our floor, gave us fruit and tea every day, froze our "blue ice" for our car rides, had excellent custom breakfast with good chef, overall this historic hotel was great. Nice pool and exercise room overlooking pool. Hotel manager stopped over several times to check on us, had a 5-course French dinner with French chef celebrating lobster.
Cons: Sometimes lack of hot water in the shower.

Pros: Amazing old historic building
10,0 Excellent
Pros: If you’re debating spending the money - just do it. This place is fantastic. We were wowed from the moment we arrived. Booked the $25 saloon car transfer and our driver was waiting for us. He also duly waited whilst we got a local SIM card and local currency from ATM. The hotel is beautiful. We had booked a Governors Room as we wanted a balcony (pre requested as not all of these have balconies). The attention to detail maintaining this hotel is quite something. We had the “Tiffin Box” local cuisine tasting menu for dinner in the restaurant - what an absolute delight. The food is fresh and healthy. Completely recommend this. Salads like I’ve never tasted before. There’s something to do every day. Went on the complimentary “travel like a local” - market / train / bus / trishaw tour on day one. We were so lucky to arrive on a Sunday as this tour is just on a Monday - and it’s superb. Just fantastic. Had complimentary cocktails on the Tuesday with canapés and the GM. Used the spa - a wonderful rainy season promotion on for guests. We loved this place and are definitely going back. Highly recommend.
Cons: it was all fantastic
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast buffet is incredible - amazing options. The fruit, the pastries, the cheese... wow. The staff couldn’t do more for you - nothing is too much. Our room was beautiful and immaculate. They made my birthday really special.
Cons: The restaurant was a little pricey - if you are staying here for more than a few days you will almost certainly have to head down town for budget friendly options.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Room is clean and bed is comfortable. Fresh young coconuts are available at breakfast.
Cons: I like everything.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Decoration, location
Cons: Pool- had better clean more often
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant surprised by the upgrade, the complimentary daily activities (we took the circular train and got toured to local markets and tea shop), the croque balls, the massive pool, the free cookies. Staff went above and beyond to delight in expecting the unexpected and I cannot wait to experience belmond again somewhere else!
Cons: Too many mosquitoes in room and around property, was bitten a lot!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We have travelled in Asia for the past 15 years. This small (only 49 rooms) hotel has a fantastic boutique ambience with a exclusive heritage / feeling. Restaurant, SPA, pool, property and service were “top notch”. Do not miss the complimentary activities such as cocktail evening and the guided trip on the railway!
Cons: There is unfortunately no gym, only minus.
9,1 Excellent
Cons: More taxis available
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Beautful setting, fantastic service
Cons: Everything was great
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Old world charm. Great welcome and intimate service, lovely swimming pool and nice food. Just the way a hotel should be run.
Cons: No bath in our room.
6,3 Good
Pros: Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast was interesting and there was enough variety for two mornings. Surroundings (especially garden) looked particularly beautiful in the monsoon rains.
Cons: Room was located in a shabby corner and showed signs of age. Hot water supply was intermittent, which is unacceptable for the price that you are charging.

Cons: High tea at the cafe is still low quality. Balcony in the room cannot open
9,6 Excellent
Pros: restaurant staff Victoria was very professional and details in her job, she will always remembered her guests need during breakfast. This is very impressive as there are so many different guests in and out everyday.
Cons: As most of the services like spa, lounge, restaurants does not have discount for in-house guests, this is the only small draw back as having those discount will eventually encourage more guests to spend more time at those services.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The surprise was that they had arranged special Indian breakfast which was commendable. It is not located in the downtown area , but the staff makes it worth the stay
Cons: Everything is charged in USD. Prices should be shown both in USD as well as local currency

Cons: Nothing
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, good for family as the room is spacious, clean and well maintained. Close to city centre and tourist attraction by taxi about 15 minutes drive. Close to international airport.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is modern and clean. The staff were all friendly and helpful. May May Zin was very helpful with questions I had. Good location. There was a driver and vehicle downstairs when I needed. The restaurant and bar is handy. Myanmar Shopping Mall was just 1.5km away, which had shops, food mall upstairs, banking facilities and money exchange.
Cons: Nothing there I didn't like.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was extremely clean and very well suited for our needs. We booked a 2 BR suite and have 3 young children. The staff even moved an extra bed in for us. Honestly, the staff were all exceptional, including the front desk and greeting personnel, the business center staff, the restaurant staff, the security staff and finally the housekeeping staff. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years and can honestly say that this was one of the best experiences that I have ever had.
Cons: honestly, nothing
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean. Great Staff.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The location and the affordable price for a family of four.
Cons: The safe box could be placed a bit higher up in the wardrobe away from the reach of children.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The swift and efficient check in and out. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of various cuisines, something for everyone to enjoy.
Cons: The room was spacious and very clean however the sideboards and the cupboards showed a lot of wear and tear. For a tall person like me the position of the toilet so close to the shower partition is rather uncomfortable.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: the friendly staff
Cons: better lighting in the room - a little too dark
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The Mecure Yangon was an excellent stop over on our way to the Mergui Archepelego - I booked it as reviews said close to the airport but it exceeded all expectations - amazing helpful & super friendly staff and delicious food!! Bonus a very very comfortable bed! Would definitely recommend!
7,9 Good
Pros: Everything was great. I give the people 10/10.
Cons: No complain here. Just location of the hotel does not have option for food. You can only eat at hotel.
Summit Parkview - Yangon - Building

8,3 Excellent (769 reviews)

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Summit Parkview in Yangon, you'll be within a 10-minute walk of The Planetarium and National Museum of Myanmar. Featured amenities include a business center, limo/town car service, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available 24 hours), and free valet parking is available onsite.
7,5 Good
Pros: Good room, breakfast, staff, and location.
Cons: Nothing as such. All was good. However, if they can modernise the bathroom it will be good. Having a bath tub doesn't necessarily means that one wants to indulge in that. A separate shower is need of hour.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Extremely good hospitality
7,9 Good
Pros: A nice Hotel at a good Location. Rooms are o.k. althugh sometimes the interior is a bit dated. Nevertheless all is nice.
Cons: Since a few years they are repairing or rebuilding the pool. There used to be a nice open air terrace, which is not available at present.
9,7 Excellent
Pros: The pool, fitness room, location, and restaurant.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Good location, near to Shwedagon pagoda. There is a well maintained jogging track in front of the hotel. Staff was very nice.
3,7 Mediocre
Pros: Location was fine
Cons: Noisy - windows are single-paned and you can hear the dogs bark and the wind blow all night. Horrible smell from the cheap carpet they are installing on the 6th floor. VERY limited selection on fresh fruit at breakfast - you should expect more at this price point - also very limited selection on cereal: Nothing high fiber. The worst was the "step-up" into the bathroom - unless you focus in the middle of the night, in the dark you will stub your toes...as I did several times.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great, walking distance from Pagoda and across from the park. Good facilities among which the spa and gym.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location and comfort
Cons: Poor breakfast menu. Simply repetition of menu.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is good & location is a centralize / near down town city.
7,9 Good
Pros: Location next to Shwedegon pagoda and People's Park excellent, although a far distance from downtown (which is easy to get to by taxi anyway)
Cons: Lacked swimming pool, but is undergoing renovation which should include a pool so will be a great place to stay then
10,0 Excellent
Pros: 1. The location is perfect. Close to the places that i had to visit and opposite the People's park that is a great place for exercise (not only early in the morning), with clean air. 2. The restaurant had an happy hour (even for the Australian red wine).
Cons: nothing
9,6 Excellent
Pros: I only stay at Summit when ever I visit my family and friend as I find the hotel staffs extremely friendly, polite and most helpful. The most important thing is “Customer Service “ which the staffs is very good at, e.g., they remember the visitors and always say, “ Welcome Back, Aunty/Uncle “ I have been recommended to so many hotels in Yangon but Summit would be the only place for me.
Cons: The Buffet Breakfast. It has gone down immensely. My family and I travel a lot all over the world and I always placed Summit’s breakfast , even amongst the five stars hotels, I placed as one of the top but very dissatisfied last few times. The fresh fruits, the hot pastries, etc, are not to the standard . They should include traditional Burmese breakfast, as there are locals and expat are their guests too and I am sure even the foreigners would enjoy it, to have proper traditional Burmese breakfast !
Inya Lake Hotel - Yangon - Building
7
8,2 Excellent (1 231 reviews)
R1 106+
Overview Reviews
Located in Yangon (Mayangone), Inya Lake Hotel is within a 10-minute drive of Shwedagon Pagoda and Inya Lake. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-in, and express check-out. This hotel has 4 meeting rooms available for events. Free self parking is available onsite.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff and great view over the lake and grounds for our toddler to run around. Although we couldn't use it due to rain, the pool looked great and our 1 1/2 year old would have loved to have a splash. It was very easy and convenient to explore the city from the hotel with taxis being readily available at the front door
Cons: Although the food was good, you can probably find cheaper and better options for dinner elsewhere in Yangon. The hotel is next to a convention centre and can probably get quite busy at times. Overall the atmosphere was very professional and corporate so it wasn't quite as cosy and intimate as hotels that specifically target tourists.
7,9 Good
Pros: Both front desk and restaurant staff are attentive and efficient. Overall room cleanliness has improved. Much cleaner towels.
Cons: Breakfast - food quality and taste not same as before. Getting poor.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The is in good location with good staffs. But too much dirty. The cleaning staffs only change the bed but floor, balcony, reading table are too dirty.
Cons: Cleanliness
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Great coffee with large selection breakfast buffet, very quiet location with beautiful garden surroundings, clean, spacious and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Fitness center was under renovation, hopefully finished soon, elevators were occasionally malfunctioning
5,0 Okay
Pros: The grounds, the lake. Although there was a dead rotting smelly fish floating on the lake this weekend. I also appreciate mostly the cleaners and security staff. Hardworking individuals. I hope they are recognized for their firm strong devotion and brand imaging posturing.
Cons: Save for the grounds and the hard-working cleaners, I would not suggest this place to anyone. Rooms especially restroom is archaic, needs a makeover seriously. The buffet breakfast, really? limited food choices... The substandard place may appeal to the tourists rushed in from China for a quick buck and short term profitability. Just does not appeal to a business traveler or as a romantic getaway. be strategic and have a really fulfilling long term strategy. There are better hotels in Yangon, yes the lake but that feature would not become a long term value proposition or value differentiator.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating. The lobby is really grand and lovely. The room was larger than I expected and suited my Mother and I quite well. We felt like we had lots of space. The breakfast buffet is delicious - there is a great spread of all kinds of food. The pool is also really nice to swim in and relax around. I really liked how private and quiet the hotel is as they have very large private grounds next to Inya Lake. Other hotels in the area are on busy loud streets.
Cons: The bathroom is a little dated but it's fine. Very adequate.
7,9 Good
Pros: The interior of the hotel was beautiful- various statues, artwork, and pictures from both Myanmar and the rest of Southeast Asia could be found. There were good restaurants within the hotel as well as facilities like a gym and swimming pool.
Cons: The actual hotel room was nothing extraordinary given the price that I paid. The bathtub also seems to have seen some wear and the toilet lacked a shower bidet. While I understand that this is designed as a more luxury hotel, the prices for food and drinks were also far above mid tier hotels in Myanmar.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: - Secluded and spacious compound. - Lush greenery surrounding. - Plenty use of natural wood as interior decoration. - Grand lobby area with lots of natural light. - Comfortable sears in waiting area. - Display of traditional objects and paintings throughout the hotel. - High ceilings. - Beautiful carpeted stairs. - Friendly and professional hotel staff members. - Walk area which runs alongside the lake. - Good breakfast.
Cons: - Toilet without hand-held bidet sprayer. Only toilet paper is provided. Very disappointed! - Lack of proper soundproofing between room and the corridor. - The balcony attached to the room could be improved. It feels absolutely outdated.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: old world charm, great property and discrete and friendly service.
7,5 Good
Pros: Great breakfast(especially omelet) and nice walking trail around the hotel
Cons: old room and toilet (room floor and tile in toilet)

This hotel has 5000 square feet (465 square meters) of space consisting of a conference center and a meeting room. 8,3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, comfort and the free shuttle to some tourist attractions
Cons: The only thing I didnt like was there was no bath tub when I requested for it though there was a room upgrade - with a window. Aside from that, I see no other things that I didnt like.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: No more
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location and really clean. Perfect place to stay if you are looking for comfort
Cons: It's too expensive for what you get. Unfortunately, hotels in Myanmar are expensive so it's difficult to find something similar for a lower price
9,2 Excellent
Pros: 1) Location is great - very easy to access the hospitals (for our work), but also for travelling and sightseeing in Yangon. 2) Plenty of complimentary water - so important during the hot season! 3) Excellent breakfast 4) Gym and Games room are rare in Yangon and a bonus
Cons: Some of the rooms can sometimes have a smell due to smoking Would be better to have a window in more rooms
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast
Cons: There isn't swimming pool for guests.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Nice for the price. Staff were helpful.
7,9 Good
Pros: A great location for me which is close to my workplace. This area is not very busy like downtown. There are shuttle bus services to tourist attraction sites. The breakfast is the best. It offers various choices of traditional as well as European meals. The sticky rice and coconut noodle are the must try ones. The rooms are clean and spacious.
Cons: The staffs need more training. Some of them look shy and not communicate very well. I can undythe culture of Myanmar people but the others might think that they are not very friendly and helpful.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: My expectations for this hotel were betond met. Here's why: *amazing breakfast full of variety *the restaurant cooked western amd Myanmar food with excellence *I received an upgrade ♡ *The sauna was wonderful *The facilities were extremely clean. *When I arrived, there was heavy rain but they met me at the taxi with an umbrella. Top-notch service! *Even after I checked out, they let me come back after a long day's tour to take a shower and prepare for my overnight bus ride to my next destination in the hotel's gym&spa.
Cons: If I had to say anything negative, I had just wished there was a razor provided with the many other toiletries given. That was the only thing missing. I found only one single hair by the toilet that wasn't mine...but besides that, everything else was immaculate. I'm not sure how well the staff in the restaurant spoke English though. Some would understand me and others would scurry away to find someone who could. But it wasn't much of a problem. Also, the Myanmar food was scrumptious but it took like 35 to 40 minutes to make. So if you're in a rush, just order a burger or a sandwich. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place! ^^
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The bed was extra comfy. The staff gave us a complimentary wedding anniversary cake and decorated our bed and bathroom/bath tube.
Cons: We don't understand why they charge us additional charges without informing us until we clarify but in the end we were still charge US$116, more that the original rate US$105.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: first time in Yangon for my alone trip . I’ve booked a room without window rate but I got a big bedroom with window . Really love it & Thank you !
Cons: An air-conditioner too old and a system is annoying A TV programme the signal not be clear !
7,7 Good
Pros: Pagoda view room was large, clean, big windows, comfortable. Windowless room was also clean. Staff were really nice and helpful.
Cons: The beds were uncomfortable! Windowless room was tiny with stale air and heavy chemical air freshener. Food was not great.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast had a good variety of western and Asian foods. There was a booth for Burmese noodles which was great. fruit selection was great. Hot tea, coffee and traditional Burmese milk tea were available too. The beds in the rooms were comfy. The long bath and the toilet were clean. As we arrived during the low tourist seasons, we had 2 of our double rooms upgraded to rooms that faced the Shwedagon pagoda. The hotel provided free shuttle bus trips to various attractions every day.

Cons: No problems this year last year lot of problems with the groups! I m a single Traveller!
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room and bathroom is spacious and clean
9,6 Excellent
Pros: In the range of 60s USD, Best Western Green Hill is the best. It provides perfect room facilities, GYM, SPA & Jacuzi (though Jacuzi doesn't operate yet).
Cons: I would suggest for swimming pool.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Helpful and accommodating staff. Nice view from the 8th floor restaurant/bar.
Cons: Nothing in particular
6,7 Good
Pros: The view at the roof top was nice, and the staffs were generally friendly.
Cons: The shower and basin water pressure was very weak...at time the hot water just not coming. The food was not as good as stated in the review. I had lunch at the top level restaurant on one of the day, the pasta was not serves hot but slightly warm only..taste was not as expected. Not sure what coffee bean was used or is it the water used, the coffee taste weird just can't continue drinking. I end up had to goto the room to make Nescafe 2 in 1...
5,8 Okay
Pros: Rooms ate fare
Cons: Broke A/c
7,1 Good
Pros: Spacious room with nice view
Cons: The main - serious - problem is with the water supply in the bathroom which was initially brown and always smelled rusty. It also caused irritation to my eyes. Clearly the hotel needs to carry out some renovations to change the old pipes to new plastic pipes and until they do, I will not be going back there despite being a regular visitor to Yangon on business. When I arrived, despite having booked via booking.com the front desk did not have my booking. I had to find it on my smart phone and it took about 10 mins for them to find it. Then they did not have a suitable room so all in all it took about 30 mins before I was in my room.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: I like the warm welcome I get from the staff.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room was quite spacious with comfortable bed. A work table to work on Laptop was good. Thje chairs were soft & comfortable. Room was clean with nice carpet.
Cons: Instead of bath tub, it would have been better to have a shower room. At least some rooms can be made like that. Restaurant can add some more Indian dishes.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast with attentive staff.
Cons: Shower water has an iron taste likely caused by old pipes.

Pros: It’s central location Walking distance to Junction City, Sule Square, Bogyoke Markets, shops and restaurants. Good size room. The staff are very helpful and accommodating.
Cons: Our first room we could hear the traffic noise room 802. We moved to room 511 which is a smokers room The other choice was a twin bed which we didn’t like because you cannot move the beds together. We could put up with a smelly room but not traffic noise. They tried to masked the bad smell with odouriser, the smell was a little better. The pillows were really hard and high. The bathroom was very pokey.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Only one reason I choose this hotel is the staff. This is not my first time to stay here and it will not be last time. With my group i have a lot of customers come along with me. And i need to be sure that this hotel can support my customer well and flexible. Yes they are !!
Cons: The sound from the street can get in the room
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Love the location because it is close to all the street dining and all the fun shopping venues are in close proximity. The hotel staff are courteous and helpful. They can communicate adequately in english, which is really a great help for foreigners.
Cons: The door to my room was unable to lock on the day that I checked in. However the hotel got their maintenance people to take care of that and I was able to enjoy my vacation in peace thereafter.
4,6 Okay
Pros: Location was near to my office. Reception area looks fine. The staff are friendly. Other than that, I'm afraid, there is not much I can say that I like about this hotel.
Cons: The hotel even though has a 3-stars rating, it looks very dated and in need of a major refurbishment. The corridors are dusty and smells of damp. The wall paper in my room is peeling off and there are visible black mould growing on the wall paper. The ceiling lights seems to be dimmed even though it was completely switched off. The water smells of plastic after the water is boiled in a kettle. The management really needs to pay attention to the these details and invest to improve this hotel.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Bed comfy room very clean
Cons: Room wasn't as dark as it could be

5,8 Okay
Pros: The free airport transfer was nice and convenient.
Cons: The staff was not welcoming or friendly at checkin. The free breakfast was terrible. The room had many mosquitos. The massage was not professional and although we had an appointment, the room was not cooled until the massage began, so for half the time during the massage the room was sweltering. I’ve stayed here before, but it must be under new management. I will not return.
2,9 Mediocre
Pros: Very close to Yangon airport and free shuttle transfer (especially if getting early flight like we were)
Cons: Lots of mosquitoes (no nets), AC wasn't very cold, asked for double bed but they pushed beds together instead, mouldy shower curtain, smelly bathroom and misleading photos on Booking.com - not worth it!

Cons: The air conditioning could have been more effective.
5,5 Okay
Pros: For a foreigner breakfast was terrible. some limited fruit was helpful. An egg was possible when asked for.
Cons: For a foreigner it was terrible, the fried rice for breakfast had chilli in it and none of the local dishes appealed. the coffee was also terrible and there was no milk. the tap in the shower leaked water all over the floor and the shower sprayed water at the end of the bath thoroughly wetting the towel.
7,1 Good
Pros: It is very close to the airport and there is a free shuttle service so for an early flight, it is a perfect option The staff is nice They offered us breakfast boxes as we had an early flight and needed to check out early The restaurant is convenient and offers correct value for money (you do not have to go out for a bite if you leave in the early hours of the day) Beer price is actually OK!
Cons: The rooms are quite old (but clean) Another hotel with a very similar name is right next to this one (it looks a little bit better from the outside) and actually shares the pool - the cab drove us to this hotel, it must be a common mistake

Cons: No big problems, decor wasn’t new but it’s a budget hotel
4,6 Okay
Pros: Nothing special , very old property
Cons: Every thing is not good Toilet extremely dirty Breakfast has old items Furniture very old
3,3 Mediocre
Pros: the location close to city center
Cons: - the room was dirty, in particular the bathroom has not been cleaned in a while - bugs in the bathroom - windows were covered with a folie which made it impossbile to see through - at night we occasional heard mice between the floors - the whole floor seem to have been under construction and looked like worn out (worn out dirty carpets) - noise from the construction - information said that construction was not ongoing on this floor - breakfast mostly cold and they didnt refill (coffee for example) even with being notified that coffee is empty - food neither - checkout at the reception we where asked to wait as the room is being checked and only after we asked again some while later they stated we can go. it left the impression, that without us asking they would have bothered to tell us - with us on our way to the airport. - general impression is a desaster, a lack of care and interest as the building itself could be something.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: All facilities are good. The rooms are big n spacious. Good breakfast esp some indian menu. Generally, all the staff are friendly n helpful. Hotel in good location, nearby to shopping n eateries, massage n ferry terminal.
Cons: 1. We are a grp of 8 people n we took 4 rooms : 903, 905, 909 n 911. Our rooms were not clean on 24 Mar (sunday). 2. There should be more small tables to keep the luggages. Rite now only 1 in each room. 3. Floors should be wipe. 4. The hotel is a bit old, need some renovation. 5. Hotel doors are not sound proof. Can hear people talking while walking towards their respective rooms.
6,7 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Dirty smelly floors Smoking floors all Old building
5,4 Okay
Cons: The room wasn't ready . we checked in in the evening around 8,30 pm and expected the room to be ready . The room was smelling of mould and should be sprayed . When we booked we ask for double bed for 2 rooms and they could give us only one room with double bed . We were tired so we took what was available . The shower room where the wash hand basin around the tap the grout is out and is full of black mould . We just put the tissues around it for us not to feel sick . A white silicone will do a good job . The room attendant doesn't do a good job he just sweeps at the entrance of the room and around the bed he doesn't even wash the glasses and the mugs and he forgets to replace the soap and shampoo etc .... It seems like the rooms r not cleaned properly for months as u can see a lot of dust around the 4 corners of the room and under the desk . I don't think the supervisor spot checks the rooms . Although we were unhappy we felt sorry for the room attendant we still tip them . The porters are very helpful and they always greet us with a smile . The whole team is A ONE TEAM . The front office staff are helpful too .They did their best . At our checked out I understand they have to check the room . Normally they will check the mini bar and the damage of the room . They told us one teaspoon is missing from the other room which my daughter didn't use . May be when we checked in the room attendant only put one . We had a laugh and made a joke out of it . So from now on when we check in to hotels in Asia it seems like we have to check the teaspoons b/4 we do anything . Breakfast was average .The food was cold except for the Mon Hin Gar was just warm . So it was Christmas we gave staff Chocolates and Christmas candys .
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful and friendly
3,8 Mediocre
Pros: Good breakfast, big area
Cons: bad smell, the whole hotel need to knock down and rebuild or renovation need fully.
4,2 Okay
Cons: The breakfast was pretty disgusting. Unable to eat most things. Coffee was the worst ive experienced on a breakfast buffet. No alcohol for sale in the hotel at all. A few items on breakfast menu were rancid. Had to call to get towels, they were not put into the room. Despite numerous signs saying they accept credit card, alas they only took cash. State of the hotel was in shambles.
