10,0 Excellent
Pros: Family-friendly and excellent location.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Andermatt was the perfect place to be based for some cycling of the local passes and the Alpenhotel Schlüssel was a great place to stay, with friendly staff, a great breakfast and lockable bike room (ski room). We enjoyed our stay at the Alpenhotel Schlüssel and would stay there again if we were in Andermatt.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The property had a free private parking, which was very convenient and appreciated. Definitely recommended
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Close to all the main village amenities - shops, bars, restaurants, etc - whilst being just a few minutes' walk from the station; rooms (all, I think, with balconies) are pleasant (if rather bland, in the typical Swiss chalet style), with views of the mountains above the other buildings in the village; hard-working owner was pleasant and helpful; nice big bath towels, and the shower didn't soak the bathroom floor (as so often happens in hotels); useful, very large Co-Op supermarket downstairs
Cons: Lack of a star-rating makes it difficult to know what to expect and to assess it fairly - I think it's a reasonably solid three-star (whatever its official status) and have rated it accordingly; the cold buffet breakfast was OK but a bit limited
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Clean room, spacious bathroom, private balcony, above average breakfast, fluent English speaking owner.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous friendly host, amazing location, spotless clean and great breakfast. Loved it so much we stayed an extra night.
Cons: Nothing
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality, position and room for the money second to none!
Cons: One night not enough, one week would have been better! Hopefully next time!

7,5 Good
Pros: Nice clean room, very romantic just beside the river.
Cons: Internet is very slow and unreliable, no fun to watch YouTube in your room ... The bed is too soft and well "laid in"
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We love Andermatt. We love this hotel. This is the second time we have stayed. The restaurant is exceptional. I recommend the Trout.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: This is a delightful hotel in the centre of the old part of Andermatt. It has good parking in front of and behind the hotel. The staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful - in spite of my rather limited knowledge of the German language.
Cons: The shower in my room did not drain properly. I was standing in four inches of water all the time that I was taking a shower. In spite of reporting this matter to the hotel on two consecutive days and being told on each occasion that it had been checked and that it was now draining alright, it remained just as bad as before. I was astonished that a good hotel could possibly have such an appallingly inefficient shower-draining system. This really spoiled the enjoyment of my daily evening shower. The bedroom was of a good size but rather bland in decoration. A couple of Alpine-scene pictures on the walls would have made all the difference. Breakfast was rather disappointing as there was no hot food other than a small basket of pre-boiled eggs which were lukewarm.
7,9 Good
Pros: Great location, in the heart of Andermatt. The breakfast was good and the staff very kind.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location. Great staff. Receptionist provided maps and details of motorbike routes in the area.

9,6 Excellent
Pros: Right in the middle of lovely Andermatt. Traditional Swiss hotel. Interiors quite dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was generous and varied. Lift to all floors. There is a restaurant but we did not eat there. Good location for Gottardo, furnace, Grimsel, Susten and Simplon Passes. Garage parking for motorcycles. Would recommend this hotel.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Spent a long weekend skiing in Andermatt and stayed with Hotel Sonne. Very easy to park nearby; excellent location o get to shops/restaurants/ski rental/cable car station. there are also sauna facility on the site to relax after skiing.
Cons: To be fair, it is probably I did not find the right way to do it... it appears that when you turn off lights for sleep, the central power will be switched off so you cannot charge phone. but I don't really mind it and have not checked with the hotel on this.
7,5 Good
Pros: Location and the friendly staff
Cons: Facilities on the room are minimal. Lights were dim as well.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable room. Very friendly staff at reception upon arrival.
Cons: Breakfast was good, adequate. Breakfast staff could have been slightly more pleasant.
8,3 Excellent

8,3 Excellent
Pros: Family room spacious and clean. Good breakfast included.
7,1 Good

7,9 Good
Pros: Staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: Room was slightly dated
6,3 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable. Shower pressure and hot water temp was good!
Cons: When we went down to breakfast there was not a table with our room # on it. Someone forgot to tell the breakfast lady we stayed there. She gave us a place to sit, but then proceeded to set up another table before asking if we wanted coffee....talk about feeling like second class guests....everyone already dining was passing judgement on us simply by their looks at us....
9,2 Excellent
Cons: The evening meal. It was too heavy and rich and too much preserved meat
7,1 Good
Pros: Position, the breakfast was ok.
Cons: the hotel room was old fashioned, there was a sink in the room with a big mixer tap like a kitchen sink, the bathroom had a curtain which is not at all modern. there was a single bed in my room as well as the double, room too big for one.
7,1 Good
Pros: Close to train station and small supermarket nearby. Breakfast was good. Large size room. Lift to upper floors only big enough for one person with luggage!
Cons: Curtains didn't block the light out. Not much to do nearby as no car, but walked to Devil's bridge ok.

7,9 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and in the end I was allowed to use the internal network in our room once I was seen working in the hallway.
Cons: The internet didn't work in our room, well it only worked standing right beside the door so I had to work in the hallway.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and professional receptionist, Timor.
Cons: The bar and restaurant wasn't open. Probably due to time of year. You have to walk up into town for a drink and dinner. We spent over 400 CHF there between 4 of us.
7,5 Good
Pros: Good value for money. The facilities are fine for a single traveler, but may not be so if you are traveling for pleasure or with family. The Hotel is at one end of the town, but since the town itself is small, that's not much of an issue.
Cons: Common areas could be cleaner.
8,8 Excellent
