The food at the bar was good and close to stores near by.
The A.C was not cold when we called front office they sent up engineer who cleaned the filter but didn't fix the problem. We woke up the next day in sweat. We had to open the front door to let the cool air from the hall way come in. Bad stay experienced
Pretty space. Great view from room. Soft bed and pillows, plenty of space in the room. Room service. Pleasant staff. Handheld option in shower. Fast elevator.
Shower water pressure suboptimal, still heat street noises 20 floors up. Super expensive, bed actually TOO soft for optimal sleep, parking was confusing (taxis and other transport blocked entrance and nobody giving directions to avoid backup and blockage).
Bed very comfy. Personal space in fridge
Some things in the room were not obvious ( shade control, laundry bags). Too many people barging into the room.
Valet attendants were very gracious, professional and service oriented. When I forgot my cell phone in the car they were prompt and polite in retrieving it for me, after the car had already been parked in the garage.
Nothing I experienced caused me any dissatisfaction.
Great location. Comfortable.
Built in 2008 near the Moscone Convention Center in the business-oriented neighborhood of SoMa, the InterContinental is largely geared toward business travelers but is also an excellent choice for vacationers looking for top-notch service, well-designed rooms, and quality features at very competitive rates.
Intercontinental, San Francisco is a ten-minute walk from Union Square, and only one block from Yerba Buena Gardens and Performing Arts Center. Kid-friendly attractions can be found two miles away at Fisherman’s Wharf, and a San Francisco Giants game can be found one mile away at AT&T Park. Several other area attractions are within proximity to the hotel.
The relatively spacious guest rooms at the hotel include all the high-end comforts, such as WiFi, cordless phones, iPod docks, and big flat-panel TVs with HD channels. Stunning views of the San Francisco Bay and the city skyline can be seen from higher floors. Up-to-date electronics and a comfortable design make these some of the nicest rooms in San Francisco, especially for the price.
The high-quality amenities offered at the hotel are top-notch for the price and neighborhood. Features include a large, 24-hour fitness center, lap pool, hot tub, gift shop, and free breakfast. The draw for many guests is the business center and 43,000 square feet of function space split between 21 meeting rooms. The hotel also features a Michelin-star restaurant with a well-known chef and the city's biggest selection of grappa.
InterContinental's luxury-level service, high-tech guest rooms, lap pool, and Michelin-star restaurant make it one of the best values in San Francisco.
