Pros: Location was excellent. Hotel was beautiful, comfortable and very clean.
Cons: Service in dining room was poor. The manager told me I was reading the menu incorrectly, then once I pointed it out to her, she acknowledged I was correct. Later came back to tell me that I should remember for future reference that what was printed on the menu was actually wrong and what she told me was right!

Cons: Room 419 heater did not work. It was freezing and engineering told us the the temperature was 75 degrees when it felt like 35 degrees. Heater was fixed after two hours; however, the heater was so loud, like an airplane engine.

Pros: Clean spacious comfortable room, and we were offerred free upgrade without asking upon arrival. When i mentioned it was our wedding annoversary (35 years ago, same hotel) the concierge offerred and sent a lovely bottle of champagne on ice to our room with two fluted glasses which we discovered upon return from dinner out. Beautiful marble bath and king bed. Ventllation system was intuitive and efficient immefiately cooling or warming at you fingertips. Our room did not view copley square, which would have been prettier, but was also quieter on an infacing court area. Copley square is a beautifiul old boston location and the Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel is one of Bostons finest hotels with a breathtaking lobby and resaurant and turn of the century architecture that will never be created again. Much better value than modern competitors and much classier.

Cons: This was not one of my better experiences at the hotel. The room we were first checked into was missing privacy curtains. We were told this would be fixed. When we got back to our room at 1 AM it still was not resolved and we had to switch rooms.

Cons: The TV interface is extremely slow. Even though we did not stay for the TV, it was brutal to skim through channels. Also, we were considering renting a movie after a long day of sightseeing. $19.99 for a movie, that's just too much.

Pros: Very central location, friendly staff, good and fast wifi
Cons: My first room was very noisy (some strong vibrations in the bathroom, couldn't sleep even with wearing ear plugs) but changing room was no problem although hotel was strongly booked. Second room was better, windows weren't insulated properly, cold wind blew through, next day entire window was icy. For that price level, I would expect better rooms. I find breakfast for 27 USD quite expensive but they have a nice coffee bar were you can buy standard stuff. They in general try to sell you upgrades e.g. for internet which you don't really need but which are quite expensive.

Pros: This was my third stay at The Revere. The bed was so comfortable and perfect for a good night's sleep. I love that the shampoo, etc. are pump bottles in the shower. It makes less of an environmental impact compared to individual toiletry bottles, and they also include a male and female set so you can choose the scent. I also like that it's a short walk to South Station and other T stops depending on what you're planning to do in the city. Very walkable area.

Pros: This hotel is a cut above in almost every way. From the moment we walked in to the moment we checked out, we were treated like gold. This is not your average hotel - and we loved that it was not a chain. The decor is fantastic and the location could not be better. We walked almost everywhere. Cons: The first room they put us in had a horrible smell. The TV in the living space did not work and when I tried to call for help on the issues the phone did not work. There was water stains in the shower. I had to go down to the lobby to try and find someone to help. after about an hour of standing around we finally got some help and the nice girl changed our rooms. so now we had to pack everything up and move to the next room. It was better as the smell was gone but it was not very clean. light switches took some time to figure out also since it was dark when we arrived and no one showed us where the switches were. There where no switches on the wall. We wasted a lot of time just trying to check in and the nuisance of it all was not worth it. I booked a king suite and would of thought a suite would at least have a microwave. WRONG. I doubt I will stay there again.

Cons: I had a "city view" room which overlooked the building rooftop next door. While it didn't hugely impact my stay I would have liked to see more of the "city" as stated in the description. Very minimal impact which is why I gave this a 9 vs. a 10.

Cons: The checkin was a nightmare. Hundreds of people waiting to check in at once because their whole system was shut down and they had to do everything manually. Its 2020. They need a better backup plan. The worse part about it is that they provided no compensation or incentive. I called guests services for management and they never called back. Terrible management. I will never stay here again and will make sure others I know won't either

Cons: The pool was full of bandaids, hair balls. My children were not able to swim because the pool was gross. The pool water was milky white. Room service was terrible. Moldy berries, rotten cream cheese frosting, rotten coffee Creamers. Not good at all.

Rooms well-appointed and bathroom small but clean. Fresh coffee and tea available down in the meeting area, along with fresh fruit and granola bars in the am (and sodas in the fridge!). Bed comfortable and room temp easy to control. Staff all friendly and helpful. Elephant and Castle Restaurant right next door - yum!

Cons: TV in the room we booked didn't work and the housekeeping didn't even come in the first call. Later they couldn't even get it fixed so we had to stay first night without TV. The next day again when we tried calling housekeeping it never came. Although later our room was changed. But it was very bad service I would say.

The room was big and the sofa bed was fine for a few nights. Good shower, plenty of toiletries and a decent hairdryer. Pros: This was one of the most dog-friendly hotels I have been to! Door men greeted my dog with treats in hand and were so friendly. Hotel was about 1 block away from a nice grassy patch for the dog to use. Bed was very comfortable, room was spacious, plenty of things going on around the hotel. For New Years celebration the bar downstairs had a confetti and ball drop- very nice touch! We were able to celebrate right down there with our pup.

With price tag on. Come on! - No ventilation in the bathroom not good if you cannot even open a window in the whole room - Bathroom and the rest of the room need a renovation, bath tube, sink, WC are very outdated - And at least you find the copy of your bill under the door on the carpet on the morning of departure day- that’s not 5 star style Please wait until I come to check- out and explain me the bill!

Cons: 2 main things that could be improved: Apart from some hanging space, there was very little storage space (drawers) in the room. I unpacked my bag into piles on a table. The others lived out of their suitcases. Also, the sheets were incredibly noisy, almost like paper! Could do with extra bedding or blankets - there was very little bedding at all on the sofa bed. Plus quite a lot of road noise from outside, if you are not used to city life.

Pros: I hate it when hotels smell and I cannot sleep when they do. This hotel didn't smell at all, bed was really comfy and the lobby was beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay there.

Cons: The Tub in our room was very slippery went to take a shower and slipped and fell and broke a couple of ribs. Then I found the rubber mat for the tub on the top shelve in the corner over the toilet rolled up not near the tub. should have been on the tub edge. live and learn

Cons: I am writing this review to complain about the incredibly rude customer service. I was staying at Omni Parker for one night and was going to be charged $135. I checked in, my room was okay but there was a pubic hair from the last guest in the bathtub (pretty gross) and you can hear everything from the hall and adjacent room in my bedroom. Since this an old building, I was not shocked, but still. However, when I checked my bank account after staying, I noticed my card was charged $210 at check in and $135 at check out. No one at the front desk ever said that I would be charged more than double the room cost. When I called, I was told I would be refunded the difference. But that doesn't make sense, if I am refunded $75 (the difference) then I am paying $270 for a room that I was told, and that the check out bill stated, was $135. I asked about this on the phone and the agent then said I would be refunded $210. But I don't know what to believe. She also hung up on me abruptly before the conversation was over and insisted that I had been told at the front desk that I would be charged more than double. This exchange was shockingly rude and, combined with the gross pubic hair in the questionably clean bathtub, has convinced met that this is never someplace I will stay again.
