Cons: Service in dining room was poor. The manager told me I was reading the menu incorrectly, then once I pointed it out to her, she acknowledged I was correct. Later came back to tell me that I should remember for future reference that what was printed on the menu was actually wrong and what she told me was right!

Cons: Room 419 heater did not work. It was freezing and engineering told us the the temperature was 75 degrees when it felt like 35 degrees. Heater was fixed after two hours; however, the heater was so loud, like an airplane engine.

Cons: Honestly, I had a very comfortable stay in the hotel. The room felt a bit cool at times, but I had a great sleep, and I probably could have found a way to make it warmer if I really needed to. The major problem with any Boston and/or NY hotel are the taxes and fees that get slapped on to your hotel price, after you thought you scored a big deal on booking.com. But that's not really the hotel's fault (it's Taxachussetts).

Cons: I thought I booked directly with the hotel, using the phone number listed on the home page. In reality, it was a third party. The confirmation number I was given was not in the computer at the hotel, and the last name on the reservation was incorrectly recorded. It took over 20 minutes to straighten out the error. Overall, I feel it is false advertising to identify as the hotel, when it reality it is a booking site.

Pros: This was my third stay at The Revere. The bed was so comfortable and perfect for a good night's sleep. I love that the shampoo, etc. are pump bottles in the shower. It makes less of an environmental impact compared to individual toiletry bottles, and they also include a male and female set so you can choose the scent. I also like that it's a short walk to South Station and other T stops depending on what you're planning to do in the city. Very walkable area.

Cons: The first room they put us in had a horrible smell. The TV in the living space did not work and when I tried to call for help on the issues the phone did not work. There was water stains in the shower. I had to go down to the lobby to try and find someone to help. after about an hour of standing around we finally got some help and the nice girl changed our rooms. so now we had to pack everything up and move to the next room. It was better as the smell was gone but it was not very clean. light switches took some time to figure out also since it was dark when we arrived and no one showed us where the switches were. There where no switches on the wall. We wasted a lot of time just trying to check in and the nuisance of it all was not worth it. I booked a king suite and would of thought a suite would at least have a microwave. WRONG. I doubt I will stay there again.

Pros: This was my third stay at The Revere. The bed was so comfortable and perfect for a good night's sleep. I love that the shampoo, etc. are pump bottles in the shower. It makes less of an environmental impact compared to individual toiletry bottles, and they also include a male and female set so you can choose the scent. I also like that it's a short walk to South Station and other T stops depending on what you're planning to do in the city. Very walkable area.
Cons: I had a "city view" room which overlooked the building rooftop next door. While it didn't hugely impact my stay I would have liked to see more of the "city" as stated in the description. Very minimal impact which is why I gave this a 9 vs. a 10.

Pros: The location was perfect. I was seeing a show at the Boch and it was a short walk to get there. We dined at legal seafood across the street for lunch and then went to the Italian restaurant around the corner from legal for dinner. It was my moms birthday and the concierge delivered wine and chocolates to the room making my mom feel very special. The rooms are very modern and clean! I will be back!

If I had paid less I wouldn’t care, but for about $130+ that I spent for the night, I would’ve gotten a nicer room and a better breakfast for less than that at a Residence inn or even a Holiday Inn Express.

Cons: The breakfast was not worth the price. I didn’t find it palatable. We were seated along the walkway which was draughty. The staff should have highlighted this before offering us the seats as it was most uncomfortable having a meal feeling cold. Service from the staff at my station was not prompt and he had the audacity to add 18% tip to the bill. The female service staff were polite and tried to chip in to cover for the elderly wait staff whom I felt was discriminatory in his service.

Pros: The location was very convenient for my visit to a Berklee student. The lobby was very cute, nice fireplace and mid-century modern coolness. The woman at the desk, I forgot her name, was LOVELY. Very welcoming.
Cons: The minute I started walking down the DARK, low ceiling hallway to my room, I started to have my doubts. The room was a nice size. The shower curtain has seen better days. The bathroom fan was LOUD, and had to be on to have light.
