Pros: Location and amenities. If we asked for it we got it. Yoga mat, ice, corkscrew, and maintenance. We had one of the newly renovated rooms which was really beautiful. Fantastic view into the harbour.
Cons: Some of the new renovations were not checked thoroughly for functionality. Toilet ran and needed adjustment. The sliding door into the bathroom could not be opened or closed without significant effort. Maintenance could not fix it as the door is too heavy
10,0 Excellent
Pros: It was a true 5 star experience
Cons: The AC in the room had a very strong fan, even when turned down low - it did not extend to the bed so it worked for me but if I had sat at the desk, it was to the point of uncomfortable. But the overall hotel experience was first rate.

Pros: We stayed there a total of four nights, The first night we stayed there we were on route to the Cape and then came back finish all three nights. The first night arriving the rim had a nonworking telephone and the thermostat was out of order. The staff moved us to another room which was larger. I do wish they had Sent the Bellman up when we were changing rooms, but we took our things downstairs and then move them back into another room ourselves. Just a little inconvenience. Returning to Boston we stayed at the hotel again for three nights and had a lovely room and staff was exceptional during this stay.

Pros: Location, location, location. Easy to get to everything. We didn’t even need a car.
Cons: For the price, room was small and cramped.
4,0 Okay
Pros: Nice staff let us check in early. Had no problem with us hanging out in the lobby when our flight was delayed.
Cons: REALLY tiny room. Kind of a snooty vibe, even though the "Downtown Crossing" neighborhood is a little sketchy. Be careful walking around at night!
9,0 Excellent
Pros:
Cons: Bedding could been a little more firm. Wasn’t supportive enough for my preference.
8,0 Excellent
Pros:
Cons: Room had a strange layout, was very dark. Only had 1 window to an inner courtyard, very dark.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Fast and friendly check in Updated facilities Quiet rooms
Cons:

Pros: The location
Cons: The bathroom door was a sliding wooden door that does not lock and staying with multiple people where a bathroom door doesn't shut/lock probably was the only odd thing

Cons:

Pros: The hotel is nice, bed is big and comfortable, and the service is good.
Cons: There are suspicious people when it’s late or early outside, also the Bluetooth speaker in Room 502 doesn’t work
8,0 Excellent
Pros: We stayed there a total of four nights, The first night we stayed there we were on route to the Cape and then came back finish all three nights. The first night arriving the rim had a nonworking telephone and the thermostat was out of order. The staff moved us to another room which was larger. Returning to Boston we stayed at the hotel again for three nights and had a lovely room and staff was exceptional during this stay.
Cons: I do wish I was a more astute traveler, because I conveniently booked through a third-party booking site. Now I know I could’ve booked The rooms directly and saved a lot of money.

Pros: The character of the rooms was outstanding. Made you feel like you took a step back in time but with the modern day conviences.
Cons: Front desk staff was not as helpful as I would have expected. Was told I would receive a text confirmation of when my room would be ready....I did not receive so had to check back.Same with reservations for dinner. Never got confirmed. I had to call them.

Pros: Had an amazing weekend. Everyone was friendly- loved the restaurant/ bar
Cons: Everything was lovely
5,0 Okay
Pros: Location! Location! Location! Coffee maker in room along with a mini fridge. Bed was super comfortable! The hotel has so much charm. The location is why I would stay here again. (Liked the free WiFi too) It's also a 10 min walk to Enterprise Car Rental.
Cons: The hotel walls were paper thin. A wedding party stayed at the hotel that night and it was sososo loud!!! We could hear all of their conversations from midnight till 3am. Also ask for King or double beds. My husband daughter and I slept in a Queen.

Pros: the location was great. very pretty lobby and bar
Cons: the room was small. the hallways upstairs were a little creepy.
5,0 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: The hotel was ok but the information on the advertisement was misleading. We paid for a certain room and when we got there they said that was not available and admitted that the picture in the ad was not accurate. We were finally given the room we wanted

Pros: In room dining was very good.
Cons: Too much noise outside coming from the heating system. Stayed on the 4th floor. Will request room higher up. No shampoo, bath gel, conditioning. Noticed it early morning and didn't have time to call for some as I had an early flight
6,7 Good
Pros: I liked the most, location of the hotel close to Coply Square.
Cons: Cleaning of the room, I have to ask for extra tissues and water bottles
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very well maintained, staff is great, rooms are always feresh and well maintained
Cons: Not necessarily the hotel but for the price we paid the room was small and tight
9,7 Excellent
Pros: Gold floor is worth the rent extra price.
Cons: Room service/housekeeping left dirty trays in the corridors.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms, the Oak Room, the ballroom staff and location! Big time hotel, small time feel!
Cons: Came for a Gala! Staff worked around the clock, helpful and like family by the end. Switched rooms, no complications, very organized, warm and accommodating. Even the housekeepers and Bellman were wonderful! What a memory!

Cons: The concierge was snippy and a tad rude. I wasnt feeling well, and was traveling alone without my husband and was asking directions and just to be sure I asked twice, he seemed to have went out of his way to "emphasize" how he had given me proper directions. I reiterated I was just making sure and he rolled his eyes at me.

Pros: It"s located very central, within easy walking distance of central Boston. The reception is helpful and welcoming, the space itself pretty cool, with the murals, and gas fire and cafe. The room was nice, good bed, clean, crisp sheets, good chamber staff, very helpful. I liked the own brand bathrobe, so bought one! The bathrooms are communal, male/female. Would have loved an ensuite, but they were very well maintained, very clean, and bright, with strong, easy to operate showers. Did"t get a chance to use the gym, next time!

Pros: We both loved the bed. It was super comfortable. We stayed in Room 206. It was a little noisy from the street which bothered my husband but I love the city sounds.
Cons: We actually had tickets to a concert at the Shubert so it was a great location for the show but not much else that we did. I also was disappointed when we checked in because I prepaid for a room with a king size bed and was place in a room with a full size bed. When I asked the receptionist about it she seem to be bothered and it took a very long time for her to place us in another room. That was not too cool. The sink is in the room and very small. the hotel is great for a one night stay.

We were also on our honeymoon and the hotel made sure to make it extra special for us! Also on the days that it rained the hotel had umbrellas supplied for us which was great.
Cons: We stayed in the King with the bathroom and with all of our luggage there wasn’t a lot of room left. We wished there was more storage so we could take out our clothes instead of living out of a suitcase— but that was just a minor inconvenience. We are also from California so we are not used to the Boston cold. Our heater never went up higher than 69 despite letting the staff know. Overall though, it was an amazing hotel and we would recommend staying there to anyone.

Pros: Hands down best hotel I've ever stayed in for the money. From top to bottom, from facilities to staff, a 10+ all the way around.
Cons: N/A
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. The room was very large and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom had all necessary things and more. Great price for Boston, would definitely recommend
Cons: N/a
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Bed very comfortable and huge. Room very big also with a large television
Cons: Breakfast expensive. Bill had suggested tips starting at 18% even though breakfast was self service. Also the room rate included $28+ per room per night for facilities that we either had to have or couldn't avoid. Would have preferred kettle instead of coffee machine
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Good location, very close to Boston common. Extremely comfortable, large beds. Staff were very helpful. There are a handful of restaurants and bars across the street.
Cons: Parking was very expensive at $42 per day. I guess this is Boston prices, though I thought it would be cheaper for paying hotel customers.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, nice rooms. Good location, we were able to walk everywhere from the hotel. Would definitely recommend.
Cons: There is a per night fee for amenities above the room rate and standard fees/taxes that we were not expecting. Breakfast was not included and the restaurant was expensive but food was good.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We loved the location, view from our room, style & staff. The bed was very comfortable.
Cons: There was an "amenity fee" at check out that I was unaware of. I had already paid for the hotel & other fees beforehand & this was unexpected. I don't know what the $--- + fee was for, shampoo???
10,0 Excellent
Pros: all around great
Cons: didn't know about the per day facility fee
7,0 Good
Pros: Great location Quiet room
Cons: Funky decor
5,0 Okay
Pros:
Cons: Has a mandatory resort fee of 25 USD on top of the room price without being a resort. Basic housekeeping and basic amenities are no justfication for a resort charge. Everything else anyway has to be paid extra on top of the resort fee.

Pros: Bed was super comfy
Cons: The pool and roof top bar were closed. Those were the two reasons I chose this hotel. Would have been nice to get that communication ahead of time.

Cons: Got the Wow suite for $1,500 for a birthday party and got a warning at 11pm from 3 security to be quiet. They should make their room sound proof if they’re charging that much. Ppl that stays at W is boring people so don’t disturb them. Don’t book here for any events. Encore Boston is a much better choice.

Cons: Shower seemed to have not been properly cleared, plastic material on the floor. Made me wonder if it had been cleaned after the last use. Cellophane covers the (4th floor) corridor carpet, making one feel the hotel is not yet finished, or doesn't want you to enjoy the carpet. Lastly and quite bizarrely, a hearing device dropped out of the menu next to the telephone. Who knows how that got there....

Pros: I liked the location. Rooms were a decent size. Water pressure was good in the shower. Nice to have the filtered cooled water too.
Cons: Gap around the door to my room which let in light and a lot of noise. Room needed renovation, it was nice 10 years ago I am sure, but the age is very clear. The window let in a lot of street noise and the curtains did not block the light very well. The duvet/blanket was not great and I am not sure the top layer is washed between guests due to the style of duvet cover. Bathroom is a nice layout but shows its age,

Pros: Absolutely perfect location to explore Boston. Surrounded by excellent restaurants and right beside T Line stop at Tufts medical giving direct access to TD gardens via North Station. Highly recommend.
Cons: Construction work going on at front of hotel - we weren't informed of it prior to our stay. We were up early most days so didn't interfere with our plans, but if you wanted to sleep past 9am the rooms at the front of the hotel were essentially uninhabitable because of the noise - check building has finished before booking!

Pros: Nice comfy pillows and bed. Staff very nice and polite. Great location.
Cons: Noise from street wish the windows were better as in morning traffic noise starts. Would like bathroom floors to be heated as tile very cold. But these minor things
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The single bed room was spacious and comfortable.
Cons: We had difficulty using the streaming function. Not a priority since we were out most of the day and watching a movie was not important. Perhaps there was a primer in the room for this service but we honestly didn't make an effort to figure out the procedure.

Cons: Only real detractor was the room. The least expensive room for 2 was referred as the "Cozy Queen". It's about 1/2 the size of a "normal" room. The shower is only about 18-20" wide so the curtain is all over you. Recommend guests upgrade room for $25/nt.

Pros: The staff at the hotel were very nice, friendly and accommodating. The location was very nice with plenty of restaurants very close by, and lots of things to do.
Cons: I booked what I thought was a Queen Superior room, but when we got there, it was a very small room with a supposed king size bed. There were hairs in the bathroom, and the sheets had some sort of blood stain on them. Not a 4 star hotel in my mind.

Cons: Despite spending almost £300 per night it is disappointing that breakfast wasn't included. A worrying trend. Seriously, not even a pastry, some fruit and yoghurt. The barman in the lounge gave the impression that he would rather have been anywhere else.
