For guests that are looking for luxury hotels in Boston outside of the big brands, check out the Boston Harbor Hotel. No stranger to opulence, the Boston Harbor Hotel boasts the city’s most expensive Presidential Suite, and the property is something of an insider’s secret.

The Langham, Boston is one of the most luxurious fancy hotels in Boston. Located in the Financial District, this is an excellent choice if you are coming to Boston for business.
However, if you are visiting for pleasure, I find it a smart choice because it is just minutes from the famous North End neighborhood, which is filled with Italian restaurants, as well as the trendy Seaport neighborhood – which has some of the city’s best shopping and nightlife.
No matter why you are visiting, The Langham, Boston is one of your best bets. Also, the hotel just went through a complete renovation, so everything is top notch – the rooms, restaurants, meeting room, spa, and more are all truly 5 stars.

The Mandarin Oriental Boston is all about offering a refined escape right in the midst of everything. While technically located in Everett, MA, if you are looking for a casino experience, this is the closest option near Boston. And trust me, this is not some rinky-dink casino, this is a Vegas-level casino from Wynn. Offering the same level of grandeur you will find at their Vegas casino hotels, Encore Boston is a luxe place to be. Book this hotel for an extravagant urban getaway. Whether you want to book out a few rooms for a girl’s trip or a big suite for a romantic weekend, Encore Boston will not disappoint.
The rooms are plush, high tech, and all have stunning views of the Boston skyline. I guess the best perk of not technically being located in Boston is that you get to look at it from a distance – and from your comfortable bed, this is not bad at all!

The W Hotel Boston is always a fun choice. Located smack dab in the heart of the Theater District, it makes a fine choice if you are a theater lover. With all the theaters within walking distance, you can enjoy your favorite shows with ease.
There is also an abundance of restaurants and nightlife in the area as well. Also, it is worth noting that the W Boston is right on the edge of Chinatown, so there is lots to explore in this fun neighborhood. From the moment you set foot into the stylish lobby, you will become enveloped in a world of chic – from the hip staff to the dark tones and the vibey music playing in the background, you will know your weekend in Boston is going to be a hoot.
