Pros (+) Affordable and efficient. Just needed a clean and convenient place in the right location to sleep. It was under construction, so there may be more bells and whistles later, but I hope the price doesn’t go up, too.

Pros (+) The staff we met were all friendly and helpful. Boston is a very walkable city and the Milner is a well placed starting point for many of the most important attractions.
Cons (-) The 'continental' breakfast is appreciated but involves throwing away a lot of plastic packaging etc which is convenient for the hotel but not helpful to the environment.

Pros (+) Great location and good value. Rooms are quiet and staff is quite helpful. Breakfast is included and quality of the towels, soap, shampoo, etc. is better than in most inexpensive hotels. The rooms are clean and the beds are quite comfortable.
Cons (-) The rooms are small. The first time I stayed for one night, I had a tiny, cramped room, but on my second visit for 6 nights, I had a room I would call cozy instead of cramped -- small, but certainly big enough for one person to be comfortable. The space in both rooms could be used more efficiently by adding more shelves in both the rooms and bathrooms, plus replacing desks and dressers with ones t...

Pros (+) I enjoyed my stay and thought that the staff was helpful and genuine.
Cons (-) My room was small but adequate. My shower took forever to warm up but there was enough hot water once it did.
