Pros: The staff was friendly and professional at both Boston and Trenton. I encountered some issues locating the proper pick up and drop off locations, otherwise everything went fine.Cons: A better description of the pickup location (in this case, which floor and building at Logan Airport) and how to drop off the car (in this case, that you have to get a ticket at the Trenton Airport parking lot and then bring it, the keys, and the mileage to the counter)

Pros: The staff at the drop off and pick up were excellent. Very friendly and helpful.Cons: When I picked up the car the "Low Tire Pressure" light was on. I figured I would just add air to the tire, when I got to my destination. The next day the tire pressure was down to 16lbs of pressure. I observed a slow leak in the tire. I then drove to the Enterprise office, where they told me they had no other cars to give me. The Enterprise employee (who was very helpful) arranged for a car to be towed from another facility. After sitting in the car and waiting for three hours the car arrived. I don't blame the employee, she was excellent. I can't believe that Enterprise depletes inventory of vehicles, in case something occurs. If this occurred after hours, no vehicle would have been provided until the next day.

Cons: When picking up the vehicle, someone actually at the counter. There were signs directing to a downstairs kiosk, but then when I got there, thr agent said I should havr been upstairs because I wasnt a premium member. He was kind and assisted me anyway, but it could have been less confusing.

Pros: We were able to get a car. It was a newer year. The trunk size was good.Cons: The price. We were told that we would get a Toyota Corolla, but we received a Hyundai that didn't have much power, was a little dirty, and really didn't have much of a back seat. The car came with some dents and scratches. Overall, we feel a bit disappointed with Thrifty.

Cons: Minimal cars, they say its due to them going bankrupt. Then I was told if I did not use the rental for all the days I booked it for I would only be charged for the days I used it. They charged for the 20 days booked and I only used it for 8 days. I should have stuck with enterprise.

Pros: The gentleman at the airport was super helpfulCons: Waiting until pickup to charge another $200 "deposit" was a joke. I didn't have enough available credit to cover an unexpected charge that high. The fact that I couldn't pay with my bank card or cash was inexcusable. I was forced to call my credit card company and make a payment over the phone and to verify with my bank that the funds were available and then they pushed my payment straight through so I wasn't stranded at the airport and missed the funeral that was the whole purpose of my trip. A little heads up would've prevent this whole debacle. Also the car was not cleaned. There was what I can only assume was a soda spill on the dashboard and the center console flopped around the whole time. I can honestly say I will NEVER use Hertz again.

Pros: Staff was never rude but I didn't have a credit card with me and even though the car was pre-paid they wouldn't rent the car to me. This wasn't called out on the reservation page at all so added a lot of hassle to the trip.Cons: The company needs to make sure third party reservation sites have the full terms for car rental up on their sites.

Cons: The car smelled bad when we received it, it was quite damages. After a moth of hacving returned it without any issues, Avis is claiming that I was responsible for the damage which I was absolutely not. I have insurance and their signed form which already proves the damage was the previous to my rental dat, but still I need to be involved in defending this claims and tenths of long and time wasting calls with them and their claims company. I will NEVER rent from Avis again

Pros: After waiting in line at the Avis counter at the BOS airport, the Avis associate indicated that my pick up location was the location downtown not the airport. I had indicated on my Kayak search that I wanted BOS airport but I suppose I didn't look at the details to see that it was the location on Atlantic Ave. Not a huge deal but did have to get an Uber (or could have ridden the blue line) to get to the downtown location. Upon picking up the car on the 7th floor of the parking garage there was 1 woman working who we had to yell out for because nobody seemed to be around. She came from behind another vehicle and was on a personal phone call and had to tell the person on the phone that she'd "call you back because I have a customer". Not a huge deal I suppose but not the greatest of customer service that the person on the counter downstairs should have called up to the 7th floor to indicate we were coming. The car on the other hand smelled like marijuana inside. Not completely reeking of it but definitely could tell someone had smoked in it somewhat recently. I indicated this to the woman upstairs who said that she would note it and credit my account however nothing has come through indicating any credit. We were in a hurry because of the location mix up so didn't have time to potentially swap cars and the woman did not offer that up any way.

Pros: car was new, clean. Tank was full, not just nearly full. Attendant in the lot helped me find the car. Efficicent checkout on leaving the lot. Reasonable cost for dropoff in another city.Cons: The "sticker" that the guard used to ID the car on leaving the lot was low on the windshield on the drivers side, thus partially blocking my view of cars coming from the left. I almost collided once, so this is a very serious issue. Sticker is presumably on the driver's side for the convenience of the guard, but it should be high on the windshield..

Cons: The toll package is crazy, we paid $1 to get out of Massachusetts, coming back in we hit that toll with no cash, but it’s only 1.50 it’s a really bad place to have a toll and it should just be included! Especially since there is a toll receiver on the car.

Pros: The car was good.Cons: The car had a strong smell of tabaco or smoke. I call to complained and they asked me to fill a form online which it took me a while to find on my phone. Then they said they contact me about the issue and never did. Also I asked about getting the ez-pass at the beginning of the rental and it was never given to me or explained how it works. Horrible service and nasty car smell.

Pros: The process of renting the car itself was good. Return was easy too.Cons: The car we got had some mechanical issues that definitely need to be addressed - clunking when going over bumps in the road, vibration in the wheels and steering wheel when driving in the interstate. The seats in our Subaru were terribly uncomfortable but that is a subaru problem.

Pros: Upgraded from compact car to a Mitsubishi Outlander, which was the only positive of our experience.Cons: 20+ minute wait in line at Boston Logan, on top of 40+ minutes just for the associate to help us?!!! Their name tag said they’d been there for 15 years, but they were slow as molasses and had no care for us and did not make me feel valued. There were no Payless reps at their airport (what?!!!), so a random other person had to try and come help. When we FINALLY got our car over an hour later, we drove it 2 miles only to have an emergency notification come on saying “Pull over safely. Car will stop soon” WTF?! So we drove back, got back in line and waited 40+ minutes to be helped by another terrible associate who didn’t care about us. Once we finally got our second car, it was 2+ hours later and no one even apologized for the inconvenience. I already called customer service, and they said “oh okay we will get back to you in a minimum of 5 days”

Pros: The staff was fine and gave me an upgrade to a larger vehicle at the same rate, which was nice.Cons: There were literally more than $84 in after-booking fees above and beyond the advertised total price, before including the optional insurance and toll pass -- in the end I paid three times the advertised price. Customer service was also very slow, not that I begrudge the employees there, just they were very understaffed. The car smelled like cigarette smoke that had been poorly covered up with cologne.

Pros: Unfortunately, there was no chance for me to like anything as E-Z did not have my reservation on file. I spent over an hour at the counter looking to see if the order was wrongfully placed for a different day, if it was set for a different pickup location, or if the rental company had been changed (I individually checked with Alamo, Advantage, Hertz, Enterprise, and more) to unfortunately find out there no company had my reservation on file. By the time the entire ordeal was done, and the option was to reserve a new car, we were so late that we decided to completely change plans and not rent a car for the day. This put extreme stress on myself with family visiting town and I am incredibly frustrated with this experience. Please contact me at mpbrooks16@gmail.com or (708) 212-6034 to advise next steps - I kindly ask to be refunded for both the car rental and the insurance policy as neither were used.

Was told the vehicle had "Massachusetts tags".... it did not, then the gentleman in garage fought with me when I got to the vehicle with "Virginia tags!!!"..... He was very rude and he had 6 vehicles of same model with "Massachusetts tags" but wouldn't let me switch!!!! Ridiculous.....Cons: Using another rental company bc upon returning the vehicle I couldnt find anyone to check me out???? So I proceeded to the rental counter and NO ONE there either at 730am in the morning, it's been a few days and yet to recieve my receipt..... Last time I will use a second rate rental company, I travel for a living and if your a businessman dont use EZ car rentals!!!!
