The friendly staff; clean hotel, room and common areas; nice breakfast and close to Fenway Park.
Nothing negative to say.
The staff was super friendly! My kids had such a great time. The rooms are super clean d comfortable and I was super surprised at the complimentary breakfast. Not typical muffins and cereal but oatmeal station, homemade waffles & more. We will be back.
Love this place! Clean, boutique, rock ‘n’ roll themed, quiet (with the occasional record playing in a room); lots of amenities and no worries about WIFI passwords, surcharges, and the like. On site valet, excellent location, pool, and customer service. Renovated in 2014 from original Howard Johnson’s! Get a first floor room (only are two floors) if you can’t climb stairs.
Would love it if they had a hot breakfast buffet rather than just cold carbs.
Everything was great. We would recommend this place. We would definitely come back!
The Verb Hotel in Boston’s Fenway neighborhood hopes to reconnect you with the music and culture that shaped this neighborhood. Architects painstakingly worked to recreate the vibe of the building when it opened as the Fenway Motor Hotel in 1959. The team did not stop there, however, as the two-story hotel is filled with rock n’ roll memorabilia. Guests can enjoy listening to their favorite tunes in the vinyl library, swimming in the seasonally heated swimming pool and dine at the on-site restaurant. Cold brew coffee in the lobby is available daily. Guests also enjoy complimentary access to the Boston Sports Club.
Fenway Park is located within walking distance making this a great place to stay when catching a Red Sox game. Guests will also find many iconic taverns in the area including the House of Blues. Less than a half-mile away, guests can enjoy visiting the Fine Arts Museum while a quiet stroll through the James P Kelleher Rose Garden is a beautiful place to relax on a pretty day. Valet parking with unlimited ins-and-outs makes it easy to explore the rest of the city.
The 93 guestrooms at the Verb Hotel each come with their own record player allowing guests to listen to records from the vinyl library. The rooms also feature ironing boards, televisions, and Wi-Fi. Color-block windows in each room help to set the funky vibe at this hideaway. The attached Hojoko restaurant is a great place to grab a bite with its outdoor patio providing outstanding views of Fenway Park. With modern amenities, rock and roll music, and top-notch customer service, the Verb Hotel is a great place to stay in Boston.
