Pros: Satisfied client, friendly welcome on reception, fast administration for check in and check out. Spacious luxury room with magnificant view. Parking facility and good location very close to the centre (walking distance)
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Close walk to town, very nice staff, very clean. Spacious room, bath has 2 showers which was really nice.
Cons: Beds were hard and low; very comfortable. Bedding was not luxurious or adequate. Not much of any decent duvet or blanket. Lumpy pillows and not great sheets. Fitness center was way too small and very dark.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed in many hotels but this one is without exception the best yet. In a word it was faultless, with an exceptional staff.
8,3 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Very comfortable bed. Nice bathroom with two showers. Not too expensive in the bar.
Cons: Loud music playing overhead at breakfast. Do not appreciate jazz saxophone blasting over my head. Food was put out and was not kept warm enough. Scrambled eggs were cold and fried eggs were congealed. A better choice of cereals would have been appreciated. Internet went out during a power cut and was not working again properly for the rest of our stay. Shortage of power outlets in the room. Lot of empty space that would have been better served with a desk as the surface area was limited and everything was crammed into one space. Carpet in room was dirty. This is supposed to be a five star hotel and part of the leading hotels of the world but it definitely needs to improve in lots of areas.
9,1 Excellent
Cons: Ask the price of drinks before you order - can get a little expensive.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast range and quality was excellent. The beds were huge and comfortable. The location and views were superb
Cons: N/A
Hotel Cascais Miragem - Cascais - Building

9,4 Excellent (2 496 reviews)
R3 405+
Overview Reviews
Best moments are never forgotten. Think of a special place for a special moment. Hotel Cascais Miragem is that place. In a luxurious ambience, with breathtaking views over the Atlantic Ocean, it is the perfect place for either business or pleasure.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: My friend and I stayed for 3 days after walking the Camino Portugues for two weeks, before flying home. It was a luxurious treat, close enough to Lisbon and a perfect way to end the trip. The spa was over the top, the room was gorgeous with a huge balcony and fabulous ocean views (even from the shower!) I love Cascais - the beaches, the promenade, the people, the beautiful village, the pastries!! Now I need a return trip with my husband - the Miragem was beyond what I expected and I want to go back very soon. I appreciated everything about this hotel - and certainly the assistance we received from the front desk at our early morning check-out when our hired car didn't show up. The desk staff jumped in right away to call us another car and get us to the airport on time. Obrigado!
Cons: There was a party in the room next door one night that lasted until 4am. It was bearable early-on when they were singing in French...not so much as the night wore on & the noise kept getting louder until other party-goers pounded on our door looking for the party. I had to call the front desk to quiet things down.

Pros: Breakfast was excellent, personnel friendly and house beautiful.
Cons: Pool looked slightly unclean.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Charming family run large house with pool. Really relaxing and very comfortable. Attention to detail in every aspect. The breakfast excellent. Staff very friendly and hospitable. Highly recommended.
Cons: Location not ideal, 10/15 minutes walk from centre of Cascais.
6,3 Good
Pros: Beautiful house and lovely pool. Great place if you need a break from a day sightseeing, to come back to a beautiful garden and lay on the comfy sun beds at the pool. Breakfast options are good and tasty.
Cons: We arrived at 13h00 at the property and were welcomed by a lovely lady, who informed us that our room wasn't ready yet. We expected that, so we left our bagages at the reception, were given the key to the room and continued our day. About 6 hours later we can back to find our bagages still at the reception, it would have been nice gesture if they were brought to our room, but it was probably a misunderstanding at our end. We booked the Twin room, but I do not recommend it. It's not in the main house and you have the feeling of sleeping in a garden shed. We obviously booked this room knowing this, but it was still a bit of a disappointment especially for the price we paid (€183 a night). The room was small and felt a bit damp. The floor of the bathroom needs a re-do because you can see where people walked as it is discoloured. I won't say dirty because our room was cleaned daily, but it gives this impression. Especially to see the marks where people put their feet when sitting on the toilet is not very appealing... We've had 2 occasions when we turned on the shower a foul smell came out of the shower drain. Didn't report this because I saw it was reported by another guests on the internet, and assumed nothing would change anyway. One morning around 9am we were surprised by the music played on a big speaker next to our room. I'd advise to move the speaker, as not everyone might appreciate to have a speaker next to their room. Overall we didn't have a great experience and unfortunately won't come back. We didn't feel the warmth of a guesthouse. Upon check-out we were bringing some of our bagages to the car before doing the checkout as we had quite a few bagages, where the hostess came "running after us" saying that we still needed to check-out. We got the impression she thought we were leaving without checking out... Not a great feeling to leave with.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing environment. Good service . Clean . Good breakfast and food. Hosts do everything to make live comfortable .
Cons: Sometimes it ook some time to get thins done but this is probable that we are coming from hectic working environment where things have to be done immidiately. Pool could be heated with solar energy to make it possible to swim even in colder periods. Will be appreciated by several guest during our stay!
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A very nice guesthouse / hotel, our room was particularly nice and the staff were very welcoming and eager to please. Breakfasts were a treat!
5,8 Okay
Pros: breakfast was good, although extra was charged for any coffee not out of coffee flask. It seems that the property wasnt quite as advertised...no free pick-ups from airport...no afternoon teas...no wine tasting or yacht trips available.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: All good
Cons: The dog barking in the next door garden. Not a lot you can do about that but it reminded me of home!
7,9 Good
Pros: The staff were amazing. Friendly and so helpful.
Cons: Was just a little far away from the village and beach.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: A real home from home. We stayed for 3 nights after travelling down from St Malo, France, to visit the Harley Davidson Rally in Cascais. So I was more than pleased when the guest house more than exceeded my expectations. They allowed us to park our motorbikes behind the security gates, which is always a bonus. We had a big comfortable room with big light bathroom. Breakfast was full of choice, and very well presented. What more could you say, everyone made our stay perfect.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Everything, this was a marvelous place to stay.
Cons: Nothing.
6,3 Good
Pros: For families with young children there is loads to do, for a range of ages too.
Cons: I had informed the hotel before arriving that my son had a severe allergy to dust. They told me they would inform housekeeping and make sure the room was cleaned appropriately. The rooms are carpeted and like in so many places the vacuum cleaners are clearly very weak. Why can hotels with carpets not invest in decent vacuum cleaners and clean the filters regularly. He will now take at least 2 weeks to recover.

Pros: The playground was exceptional. Staff friendly. Hotel well kept.
Cons: Service was slow at times. Some confusion one night Re bill .

10,0 Excellent
Pros: Service and staff were exceptional. Great location close to the town centre.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The view and location are absolutely amazing. The hotel is peaceful & tranquil. The only sound is the waves breaking on the beach at the foot of the cliff. Yet it is a short walk from the centre of town. The staff are so pleasant, helpful & friendly. The rooms are beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable & well equipped. Breakfast is fantastic.
10,0 Excellent
Cons: We stayed at the Albatros for nearly a week. The room was beautiful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was our anniversary and upon arrival we were surprised with a bottle of Prosecco from the hotel. The breakfast was plentiful, fresh and very relaxing in a room overlooking a stunning view of the beach. The cleaning lady was very friendly and the room was left spotless everyday. Thank you all very much. Highly recommend this hotel and wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Cascais.
8,0 Excellent
Pros: Very well located in Cascais with immediate beach access. Train station (for connecting to central Lisbon) 1 minute walk away and local shopping & restaurant area adjacent to hotel. Sufficiently small (60 rooms) to treat its guests as individuals and sufficiently large to provide the services a 5*-hotel should.. The staff is very friendly and guest-focused and combine professional and personal warmth. Will happily return not only as a business-visitor but also for private visits.
Cons:
4,7 Okay
Pros: The view from the hotel terraces is superior.
Cons: We have received a room that had a superior view over a city but was located next to huge airconditioning units for the hotel and whole shopping mall located on floors below the hotel (literally 10 meters on the same level/ level below). Therefore romantic nights on the tarace where not with city background noise but with quite dominant "pumping" noise of the airconditioning station units. We don't smoke and the fact that next to our terrace was a terrace used by staff to have a cigarette breaks was also a minus. Service was not at the level you expect from the boutique hotel e.g. we were not informed about dinner arrangements.
7,3 Good
Pros: Wonderful ambience and unobrtrusive service.
Cons: No
7,7 Good
Pros: Spectacular hotel, very special with uninterrupted views, felt very spoilt for the few days we were there.Food was excellent and not overpriced for such quality, service and most importantly view...

Cons:

Pros: The grounds of the complex are beautiful and well kept, and the outside of the villas are lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: Quiet location near the coast road. Very spacious house with homely feeling. We had a big room and bathroom although sparsely furnished. Lovely swimming pool. Use of well equipped kitchen much appreciated to make use of delicious produce purchased in Cascais food market. Some good local restaurants walking distance away. Car needed as quite a way from town. Nicely looked after by Rafael and Paloma.
Cons: Bathroom needs renovation. Bed small and creaky (metal bed frame). No change of towels or bed linen during 6 day stay. Same cheap ham and cheese option every day at breakfast.

Cons: I loved the management. They both were just so awesome! Warm friendly and truly felt as if I was ag home...away from home. Pros: The place is amazing, spacious, well taken care off, private parking, swimming pool, excellent breakfast.. in brief, if you see availability just grab it.

Pros: Nice property
Cons: Quite noisy. Thin walls let sound travel between rooms, water noise in the early morning
9,2 Excellent
Pros: The property was excellent. It was only 2 min walk from cliffs and beautiful views where you can watch the sunset. If you are an active person this is the place to for you to be. Roads are done amazingly for runners and cyclists. Also restaurants about 5 min walk. Shop 2 min walk. Breakfast was really good. I had a single room and after breakfast it felt like whole Casa was mine as no one stayed in , so I had the whole place to myself. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
Cons: The only think I didn’t really like was that the sharing bathroom was downstairs, away from my room , but it wasn’t so much an issue for me as the place was always free and spotless clean.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful owner, clean and comfortable.
Cons: Hard to reach without a car

Pros: This hotel is set inside a historic citadel. It is conveniently located to sights, shopping, bars, restaurants, beach and marina. The views are stunning from the breakfast room and pool. We were upgraded to a fantastic presidential suite with a modern sleek decor. Our suite overlooked the big courtyard. The staff is so friendly and helpful. We had a car and got a deal from the hotel in an underground parking lot around the corner for 10 euro a day. Breakfast is plentiful and juices and coffee are served at the table which is a nice touch. We loved this beautiful hotel.

Pros: Big rooms, friendly host & dog. Good location on edge of town on the Guincho beach side near bus routes. Shared use of a proper kitchen meant we could self cater and Lidl and local cafe, bar, restaurant only 5 mins walk.
Cons: Had a few noisy nights from barking dogs of neighbours (resolved later on with help of the host). Could be improved by having air con unit in the room instead of fan as then windows could be closed and sounds reduced well with double glazing.

Pros: Comfy beds, spacious suite, walk in wardrobe
Cons: Poor for 5 star - no coffee machine or bottle opener - 1 plug socket only in kitchen, cleaning erratic, furniture a bit grubby, spa too small for numbers of guests
10,0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is gorgeous, I got upgraded to a suite and was able to do early check in. Staff was amazing.
Cons: Hotel is a little bit far from the center of Cascais,, pool should be heated.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Big, modern room. Fully equipped. Great staff. Excellent value for the money.
Cons: Nothing.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The relaxed atmosphere in the quiet Cascais Sintra National forest was great. They have a free shuttle to and from Cascais until late afternoon. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
Cons: The free shuttle to Cascais only runs until 6 pm. It is nice to get into town for an evening dinner, and then you simply Uber back to the hotel for $6-7. Overall, for a hotel a couple miles from Cascais, it is a good choice for the price we got.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, great apartment, perfectly equipped for our stay. Bed and bedding fantastic best sleep possible. Staff at Sheraton extremely Professional, all very helpful
Cons: Kitchen a few more items, plates, dish soap.
7,0 Good
Pros: Very nice property
Cons: Too far from the town center
7,0 Good
Pros: The staff and service were excellent. Everyone from the reception to the towel boy at the pool were incredibly nice, accommodating, and professional.
Cons: Our room was not cleaned the 1st day and the 2nd day I had to ask several times to clean the room which they did at 5pm. This is a hotel for families and is overrun with screaming children; we could not use the pool at all. Not for adults and not 5 stars.
9,0 Excellent
Pros: The room was great and for great value. The staff was superb. I relied on them extensively and they were great. The staff offered excellent tour and restaurant suggestions.
Cons: Service was poor at the hotel's only restaurant open on my last night's stay. I complained to the management and their response was appropriate. That is the only complaint that I have over a four night's stay. Everything else was excellent.
7,0 Good
Pros: Breakfast, Staff and cleanliness. Beautiful and peaceful location.
Cons: Air-condition was not up to par. They missed cleaning room on 12th October (no door tag for "clean room request") Amount was pre-paid but still showed as due on check-out. It took about 30-45 minutes to sort out the problem.
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing experience
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice, clean luxurious.
Cons: Nothing was complimentary. The in-house restaurant and room service were very expensive. The property location created a slight feeling of being captive; especially for us wanting to be in central Cascais.

Pros: Quiet and far from traffic. Pure nature, especially popular among golfers.
Cons: Standard room and SPA too small. Every room service charged with +€ 7.50.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Good size rooms. Good facilities and breakfast.
5,8 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: Staff were extremely friendly and forgetful, room service was a nonsense, no tea or coffee facilities in room. Very very average
7,1 Good
Pros: The staff were excellent very helpful.
Cons: The villa I would say was not 5* it did not even have bottled water like other hotels. Very isolated nothing near by.
7,9 Good
Pros: Lovely outlook over the golf course. We played the course twice, an interesting course and in fairly good condition although the greens were a little bumpy. We were a large group of 16 people and the staff looked after us very well. A good hotel for a group of golfers and just a short taxi ride in to Cascais.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Almost everything wonderful except breakfast
Cons: Breakfast was bad, options are so few, bad coffee machine, cheap juice.
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Really enjoyable stay and staff so welcoming and friendly. Hotel was very comfortable and great place to stay. If I’m doing the Ironman 70.3 next year definitely consider staying here again!
Cons: Bit on the expensive side and too many golfers!
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast offered great variety and choice, was always fresh and food hot where appropriate. Staff were on the whole very helpful and offered great customer service. Facilities and hotel were clean, on the whole quiet, except for boisterous golfer types but I suppose the hotel golf course is a clue!
Cons: A bit on the pricey side but you do get what you pay for. Only wish that I'd gone with the event package that the hotel was part of in order to benefit from the add-ons which I didn't realise at the time of booking and ended up paying extra for or missing out on. Would have been useful if someone had offered that when we booked as I mentioned I was attending the event.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: The room is was very comfortable just as described and the staff are nice.
Cons: I have stayed in a lot of 5 star hotels around the world but charging guests a penalty of €30 for bringing in food from restaurants outside the hotel to your room is ridiculous. This is not part of the hotel policy when you are making a reservation, you will only find out about this when you are checking in, well that’s even if you ask the right questions.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: Room is spacious, with modern, simple and straight decoration. Staff at the reception was always friendly and helpful.
Cons: Restaurant staff’s attentiveness and curtesy could improve to meet 5 star hotel service expectation.
6,0 Good
Pros: great staff, lovely breakfast, good location..huge rooms
Cons: on the first night we (an all other guests) were woken at 4am when the in room fire alarms went off... then on the next night the alarm went off again, thankfully at 7.40 am but still really annoying as we were jet lagged and trying to sleep in... no apologies from the hotel for this...it really let an otherwise nice hotel down.
5,8 Okay
Pros: Bed comfy, AC worked well & room was dark so great sleep
Cons: but some staff just could not be bothered, they put 1 coffee pod & one decaf pod in the room - if you want more its 2 euro, if you want more than the small bottle of water its another charge. They lost our freezer packs for the little cooler we travel with and were unapologetic about it. The hotel looks worn in places & is very stark, the music in the restaurant area more suitable to a morgue. Pictures look better than reality. This may have been cool place once but its on the down-turn
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Location, archtecture, breakfast, dinner and helpfulness and professionalism of personnel were all outstanding! So was the room and seaview. And what a marvellous golf course
Cons: Nothing
7,1 Good
Pros: Great location, nice large rooms
Cons: Very, very poor service! Staff not interested or engaged. Much training needed
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place to have a good time and recharge, spacious rooms with beautiful view, nice spa area, great food!
Cons: Daily refresh of free drinking water will benefit this amazing place.

8,8 Excellent
Pros: Big rooms, friendly host & dog. Good location on edge of town on the Guincho beach side near bus routes. Shared use of a proper kitchen meant we could self cater and Lidl and local cafe, bar, restaurant only 5 mins walk.
Cons: Had a few noisy nights from barking dogs of neighbours (resolved later on with help of the host). Could be improved by having air con unit in the room instead of fan as then windows could be closed and sounds reduced well with double glazing.
8,8 Excellent
Pros: An oasis of calm away from the bustle of Cascais centre. Very comfortable room with nice terrace. Easy walking distance (350m) to great local coffee shop and restaurant. Easy driving distance to Guinchi, Cascais and Sintra.
Cons: WiFi connection not great in the room. Worked better in public areas.
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice big room ,full use of the spotlessly clean kitchen fab shower
Cons: Bit of road noise,
9,6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value for money. The room was well equipped and very clean. The shared bathroom was very clean and next to the room, so it seemed to have a private one. The staff was very nice in waiting for our late check in.

8,3 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really friendly and gave loads of great tips on what to do in the local area, the facilities were surprisingly good and I really appreciated being able to shower despite having checked out several hours before! The yoga on the pier in the morning was incredible (what a setting!!!), and the room I had was great. It was really easy to find from the train station/Lisbon. It’s not in Cascais, it’s about 20mins away but the walk is beautiful along the coast.
Cons: It’s not a dislike, just something to note- the hostel is split over several houses, so not everyone or everything is in one place.
5,4 Okay
Pros: Extra long bed
Cons: Overpriced considering there is a communal bathroom and we were positioned on a floor with an adjoining dormitory room The hotel is more suitable as a hostel than a hotel Breakfast was very poor, no mugs, no juice, no water, just fruits and seeds Would not recommend for the price, might as well stay in a hostel
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast. Lovely house
Cons: All fantastic
10,0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house with original portugese tiles. 10 minutes walk to the beach. Breakfast just ok. Our bed was really big and comfortable. Free parking outside the villa.
9,2 Excellent
Pros: Place is very nice, helpful staff, quiet location
7,5 Good
Pros: Relaxed and friendly property with helpful staff. Delicious breakfast and BBQ’s
Cons: This is a yoga and surfing retreat, although I booked as a hostel stay through booking.com and couldn’t do the yoga or surfing due to injuries and it left me a little out of the loop with everyone else.

Pros: Everything! Perfect kids & family hotel!
7,5 Good
Pros: Nice hotel in lovely grounds A good feel to the hotel and facilities Beds were the best that we've had on holiday that we can remember. Massive AND comfortable!
Cons: The food at breakfast was lukewarm unless you asked for an omelette or fresh fried eggs. The staff were pleasant but not UK 5 star in their attitude, attentiveness and ability to read clients needs and wants
9,0 Excellent
Pros: Pedro at the reception was very helpful! I asked how to get to the football stadium, and he drove us there as he was on the way as well, without asking for any money.
Cons: The gym was quite small
10,0 Excellent
8,2 Excellent
Pros: The playground was exceptional. Staff friendly. Hotel well kept.
Cons: Service was slow at times. Some confusion one night Re bill .

Pros: A lovely relaxing stay when with young children
