The hotel is sited so close to the ocean, and is an impressive conversion from the original fort. The staff are most friendly, helpful and professional.
The wind outside was really uncomfortable. Not the hotels fault!

We went for just one night for my birthday and the whole experience was just amazing. Staff is exceptional, location is amazing and facilities are just amazing too. Breakfast was very good. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Among the many outstanding things to mention, the number one is the "Experience Menu", the by now traditional Michelin quality restaurant item, where you get a set of small dishes, chosen by the chef, and accompanied by wines from the sommelier. Here you get a quite extraordinary experience, only improved by watching the sun set over the Atlantic through panoramic windows as the dishes arrive. (And a bonus for the excellent half bottle of port that was in our room upon arrival.)
