Attention to detail was poor. Ads in elevators was out of date (restaurant & bar were actually closed), time hadn’t been changed (still on standard time), single ply toilet paper, pipes rattled very loudly when trying to get hot water for a shower. Poor lighting in guest room. Low quality coffee maker in guest room. The location is excellent.

Pros (+) The bedding and overall room comfort was very nice. No view but we just wanted a basic safe quiet place to sleep in downtown Boston and that’s pretty much what we got with the added attraction of a fancy lobby and great sheets.
Cons (-) We got to our hotel at 7:00 PM and our room wasn’t ready. Really? 7 PM? Hmmmm. Check in time is like 3PM. We were so ready to be resting and instead had to sit around for an hour till our room was ready. Wow.
