Central location
Gold floor is worth the rent extra price.
Room service/housekeeping left dirty trays in the corridors.
Great location, expensive rooms for what you get
Beautiful lobby, fantastic location, lots of places to gather with coworkers in the lobby.
Bad views, small rooms, the two front desk people I met were fake nice, and there was a crib in my room.
Always reliably comfortable, well located, amazing staff!
Stunning hotel, very friendly and accommodating staff, perfect location for all of Boston
Construction on church across from my room, started early, relentless but hotel had no control over it
The grande dame of downtown
Deluxe room - lots of space, good desk/lighting/reading chair, excellent bed, large marble bath and amenities. OAK is a great bar and restaurant with excellent food and lively vibe. Room service was prompt, friendly and delicious. And the hotel has a sweet black Lab to welcome guests.
Noise from hall seeps in through the old wood doors; not really a problem until a couple drunk bros came in at 4AM and spent 20 minutes in the hall being enthusiastic.
Excellent service. Central location.
Great location for shopping. Gold floor staff were very attentive. Worth the upgrade, especially as the Oak bar was so crowded on Saturday night. The Gold lounge was a pleasant oasis.
Beautiful, historic
Loved the chandeliers, mirrors, marble, location, service
No shop in hotel for sodas, snacks, ice cream
Beautiful Hotel
Staff attentive. Nice decor. Great location.
A little pricey. Not way high. Just a little.
Could have been happier
The hotel was very clean and very roomy. It also was close to the T
Things I didn't like were.. Couldn't get the room to feel completely warm.set thermostat to 78 it barely hit 70. Parked in the parking garage a block away for $22 for the weekend compared to the hotel wanting to charge me $51 to park per day kind of a no brainier. Who's there was a pool or hot tub to relax in during our stay.
Great location with warm and welcoming staff. Hold level was excellent.
Step back into 1912, through the iconic, grand Fairmont Copley Plaza featuring the most lavish lobby in Boston. Known as Boston’s Grand Dame, the hotel has welcomed celebrities like Tom Cruise and Frank Sinatra, almost all U.S. president’s since Taft, and more of the world’s most powerful figures.
Today, the Fairmont Copley Plaza draws a wide range of guests, from conventioneers to college parents to Freedom Trail tourists. The location of the hotel is right on Copley Square in the heart of Back Bay. Guests have convenient and easy access to The Copley Square T, as well as the rest of the city. Several popular areas such as the Prudential Center, Newbury Street, the Charles River, Trinity Church, and the Boston Public Library, are a short walk away.
Fairmont Copley Plaza does not offer as many on-site properties as other luxury hotels nearby, however, the feature it does offer are more convenient and modern. The large fitness center is on the top-floor with city views and includes separate areas for weight training, cardio, and aerobics. Conferences, weddings, and special events can be held in meeting rooms and the ballroom. The sophisticated OAK Long Bar and Kitchen Restaurant offer guests local ingredient and modern American food.
The property may be over 100 years old, but all rooms are up-to-date with an elegant feel. Per usual in older buildings, standard rooms are smaller than most but very affordable for the area. The well-appointed specialty suites offer a theme from events and landmarks in Boston, while the Gold Club rooms feature free Wi-Fi, a lounge with free breakfast, private business center, free snacks, and a library. All accommodations feature mini-fridges, coffeemakers, and other necessities, as well as views of the city.
