Pros: service was great, the view was beautiful, the room was excellent. It seemed like the stars aligned for us, but that just may be the great service of the hotel. The weight room was great. The concierge made a reservation for us at this great restaurant downtown.
Cons: I can't really say there was anything I didn't like about the hotel. I did a lot of research on hotels in toronto, and this was the highest rated and for good reason. If you're on the fence, go with Shangri-La

Pros: We were very impressed with The Omni King Edward from the moment we arrived. The service is impeccable. The lobby, rooms, elevators - everything, really - is first-rate. Our only regret was that we could only stay one night, since it was a quick weekend getaway. This was our first time in Toronto, and we will be back - at the King Edward.
Cons: Valet parking, at CAD$40-45 per day, is a bit excessive. Since we were there on a weekend, it was easy enough to find on-street parking.

Pros: We always love going to the King Edward Hotel when we visit downtown Toronto. The location is terrific if you want to walk, shop, and sight see. We've been choosing this hotel for years.
Cons: Since we book this hotel often ... it would be nice to be recognized and rewarded. Perhaps with a room upgrade or something ... Most notably though on this last visit I noticed our bed was sagging in the middle. I had to sleep on the edges of the mattress not to fall into the centre.

Pros: The hotel property was immaculate and was in walking distance to many places of interest such as Eaton Centre, St. Lawrence Market, Distillery area, St. Michael"s Cathedral, SONY Performing Atrs Center and many fabulous restaurants and bars. The employees of the hotel were motivated in making our experience a great one. The concierge staff were most helpful with their suggestions and directions.

Pros: Thanks to Collin at the front desk, my stay was perfect! He not only upgraded my room, but he ensured me he'd personally handle my concerns and he did just that. The hotel is central to everything downtown and you can walk everywhere.
Cons: Parking is a drag, as you must valet park and it takes a minimum of fifteen minutes to get your vehicle if you're lucky. It also cost 45.00 a night to park...

Pros: Staff was super friendly and helpful. In suite laundry was major bonus to wash and dry running gear before packing into suitcase. Room comfortable, well appointed. Historical building was neat, lobby nice, convenient location downtown. Valet parking was expensive but necessary as there appeared nothing convenient around. Well suited to transit and walking. Views were fantastic from 36th floor suite, and gym was great, with super views, on 17th floor. Sandwich/pastry shop off lobby was good, Starbucks immediately across street.
Cons: No in suite breakfast option, so either be prepared (and make use of in suite kitchen), hit restaurant downstairs (which seemed expensive), or plan for pastry or coffee shop mere steps away.

Pros: The woman, Madeline, who checked me in and out was exceptional and is the example for all of the other associates there. She made sure at check-in that I was comfortable, she asked about my flight in, and made sure that I had a map and was situated well to use the PATH and other means to get around Toronto. The hotel was clean and modernized and room service was excellent. The room service associates were exceedingly polite and friendly.
Cons: I arrived early Sunday and was in conference all day and jetlagged. I couldn't wait to put in a long rest since I wasn't in conference that morning. I put out the "Do Not Disturb" and latched the door. At about 9:00 am Monday morning housekeeping opened the door. When I got up to see what was going on I told her no services at this time. She said she was having problems with the door because the RFID was flashing yellow (which was explained to me the yellow light meant that the latch was on. She persisted until I let her in. She cleaned the bathroom and left, but my day was just going to have to start I guess. As I saw her throughout my stay she was not the most polite. Very terse "Hello"s, if at all.

Pros: I compared alot of hotels for our long weekend visit to Toronto. The Cambridge seemed to offer the best value as far as price, location, and you get a suite not just a room. The room were clean, and recently refurbished. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was very firm, but we prefer it that way. The hotel has a strictly enforced no noise policy, which is something we appreciated. We were able to get the rest we needed after very full days taking in Toronto.
Cons: The temperature in the room was a little on the warm side. Not uncomfortable, but we would have preferred it a little cooler. Weather outside was in the 90's. Turning the thermostat down did not seem to help.

Pros: When we booked the hotel there was indoor pool and restaurant . But they have only hottub which is great by the way. After booking , we get an email that restaurant will be closed. That wasnt fair really. Otherwise this is our second stay at cambridge Stafff really nice . Water drain in the living room never got fixed despite complaining. rooms are spacious.

In the heart of downtown and right around the corner from Massey Hall, the Cambridge Suites was withiin walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The suite was spacious and offered every convenience. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens clean and crisp. The room was very quiet and the staff was most accomodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros: My boyfriend and I came for our 6 year anniversary. We wanted to explore Toronto, so we came early. The staff was amazing! When we got there, they let us have an early check in and explained the parking and amenities very well. The hotel is in the perfect proximity to everything in Toronto. Pros: This was a great deal! It is conveniently located downtown near the Air Canada Centre and a quick walk to the Hockey Hall of Fame. It's not easy finding a 4-star deal downtown, but this was definitely one! Everyone was kind and answered all our questions. Staff throughout the hotel was inquisitive and helpful. Parking on site and not too bad of a price. Highly recommended!

Don't actually spend too much time there, but its nice to have the bar/coffee next to the lobby and though I didn't eat at it this time, the breakfast buffet was good in the past. My friend came to pick me up and was able to leave the car out front while she came up to get me instead of having to try and find parking.
Cons: Checkout can be a little chaotic - would be nice if they did auto checkout and left me a preliminary receipt in my room like a lot of other hotels do.

Pros: The number one selling point for this hotel, is that it is located right in downtown Toronto on Yonge street and is one block away from the line 1 College subway station, which is also a stop on the 506 Carlton streetcar line. There are also an unlimited number of reasonably priced places to eat and shop within walking distance of the hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful
Cons: My room was directly across the hall from a bank of four elevators. Fortunately, the hotel was not very busy or it would have been disturbing. The walls are thin and not well sound insulated. I could too much from the adjacent room. There is a new building construction across the street, so you won't get to "sleep in" on the average weekday. Of course this is a temporary situation beyond Marriott's control, which will auto-rectify once the building is completed

Pros: From the moment we walked in the doors right through to checkout we were made to feel very welcome by all the staff, from front desk right through to housekeeping. We stayed in the south tower and appreciated the large room and most important, the cleanliness of it. The location cannot be beat, so close to everything. we will definitely make this our hotel of choice for future trips to Toronto.

I don't mind a bit of traffic noise (the hotel is in downtown Toronto after all) but hearing outside airconditioning units howling all night is pretty annoying. When we got to our room in the afternoon, the hotel generously had a large chocolate cake with Happy Birthday on the plate, waiting in our room for him. Lovely! Buffet breakfast the next morning was amazing as well!! We we placed in a very quiet room at the end of the hall with an amazing view of the CN tower.

Didn't even visit the pool or hot tub on roof, but heard it was great! Plenty of space in the room, nice hardwood floors, restaurant is great - really good food and a great atmosphere. I would 100% stay here again.

That said, I sent a request for flowers and a birthday cake to be put in both rooms as it was a significant birthday. I'm still waiting for a reply. After 2 days at the hotel I showed the email to a member of staff and asked they deal with it. We received a pre printed card from all the staff, no flowers, no cake but a chocolate corn on the cob thing! No idea what that was about. Reception staff stock answer to local information was that they're not from Toronto so didn't know. Disappointed with the service. Didn't speak to management as it appeared I was speaking another language so gave up.

Pros: Had a great time visiting Toronto and our stay at The Grand Hotel exceeded our expectations. This hotel is located in what I think is a perfect location, within 5 blocks of Young / Dundas square (the times square of Toronto) which is right across from the Eaton Centre. The subway takes you right down to Rogers stadium and the CN Tower, or you can easily walk it. Location 5 plus, hotel 5 plus, facilites 5 plus. Would definately stay there again. We took the paid upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite and stayed there with my brother and wife. It was a two storey suite - lots of room for everyone to spread out.

The free wi-fi was a life saver as I was traveling internationally, and the business center was very helpful when I had to send a last minute invoice. Cons: The vibe of the place is off because it is dark and the rooms are so, so small. The pictures of the room on this site are nice, but in all actuality, the rooms were too small for comfort. We didn’t even stay at this hotel for longer than an hour because the room wasn’t comfortable. There were windows, but facing inward and dark.

Cons: Staff were not friendly. They were not accomodating. I realize the weekend my boyfriend and I stayed was a busy one. However, after checking in multiple times about checking in early, we were treated like we were asking too much. Our room was two single beds that my boyfriend did not fit on. When asked to change rooms the front desk announced this would be too difficult. This may be the case however, I was not impressed and would not stay here again. We made a weekend away the best we could and we did have a great time. The strathcona hotel was just a minor set back in our getaway.

Cons: For an executive room it was very small and tight, made me wonder what the non-executive rooms looked liked. My booking was mixed-up. Hotel blamed Kayak, said "sometimes 3rd party sites advertise differently from reality"; even though i had called the hotel 2 weeks ahead to confirm my booking and everything was accurate at that point. Guy at the front desk was very rude and entitled. I have received way better service and room quality in other hotels for a fraction of the cost.

Pros: The location was very convenient and it was easy to get to any part of downtown. It was also pretty easy to use public transportation to get there from the airport which was my concern. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within a couple of blocks of the hotel. Another nice perk was a movie theater a couple of buildings over which was great. The staff was really pleasant and accommodating. The cleaning crew was amiable and checked in about when the room would be cleaned. I really appreciated not feeling rushed to get so the room could be cleaned. I would definitely like to stay there again.

Cons: The room here was so small. We had four of us and it was very cramped. No walking room at ends of beds or between them. Smallest room I have ever seen. The temperature didn't work at all in the room and was way to hot or too cold. Toilet did not flush correctly and would have to call down to get a plunger. Not a comfortable room at all.

Clean rooms with inexpensive (cheap?) but obviously newer fixtures and decor. I didn't have to pay for internet, they gave us an access code for each device we requested.
Cons: Room was quite small. Gym was small, hot, some equipment out of order. Thin walls or doors: loud! Not a luxury accomodation, but then again it's priced fairly low so you get what you pay for.

Pros: I was very happy with my stay. 3 nights in Toronto for business, but I needed to choose a hotel that would stay within my budget. The rooms are small, but that did not bother me. 15th floor, wonderful view. Very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Pros: The view from the 18th floor is incredible. It was cozy and appealing. Denny's for breakfast down the street. Burrito boyz rescued the night after checking out the bad tapas options. The bed is pretty comfy if you like em soft. Nice storage, nice cleaning staff. It's nice if you don't need too many extras. Security feature to use elevators with room key card

The pop machine ate my money. My receipt said i would have a deep soaking tub, i did not. I suggest the sheets get more attention with appearance. Internet bandwidth is limited, no netflix. Towels aren't big enough, not enough pillows, bed really bouncy like it's not on a proper frame. The heat was blowing in my boyfriend's face most of the night, should look into a better heating system. The

Pros: location was perfect for those that want to be near the heart of the action: Eaton Square and walking distance to Wellesley-Church. Rooms were on the small side but Scandanavian decor maximized space utility while still giving the room some style.
Cons: It's on the edge of "fringe" neighborhood, so be careful walking alone or at night. It's the price you pay to be close to the action. Likely because of the competitive price, more than half of the hotel was occupied by people over 70 for the weekend we were there. Weird since it's near the bars, clubs, strip joints, college dorms, and Eaton Square itself.

Pros: The location of the Hotel was excellent, right next to the Times Square of Toronto. So you are in the middle of everything of Toronto. If you get the right room (which we were lucky to get), you get an excellent view of the Times Square. We initially got a room on a lower floor, which I was expecting as we had booked through Kayak. I requested for a higher floor, to which they immediately agreed (something that I have never experienced before while booking through Kayak). The staff was always very friendly and helpful. The interiors of the hotel and the room were very well done giving it a luxury look. Being in Downtown Toronto, they have an enclosed parking for their customers, for which they charge of course, but reasonable charges for parking (A little less than 20 CAD for a day)
Cons: The rooms were too small and thus were cramped. But there was excellent management of the space available. They charged us for the internet, but the charges were just 10 CAD a day for three devices (That's what we had asked for). To avoid that there are plenty of free internet cafes around the hotel.
