Pros: It is my second time to stay here because I have workshops in Toronto sometimes. The staff - Vera - she is always so nice and helpful. My workshops are in earlier morning and she is very patient and nice to accommodate me having a earlier breakfast. Also, she makes everything ready and easier for me that I can have some flexibility. I am so appreciated for what she is done for me to make my trips easier.

Pros: Room clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance of Downtown and Dundas square. Miko (co- owner?) is exceedingly helpful and friendly. Kitchen is well stocked for breakfast. Shower worked well, as did aircon in room. Absolutely no complaints.
Cons: None of the following are complaints, but merely warnings that it is what it is.
The house itself is quite old so there are some effects from that ( the wiring sometimes shows -although it all works fine). The street is not in the most salubrious part of town, but it doesn't feel dangerous at all. The kitchen can be a bit small depending on how full the house is and how many want to eat breakfast at the same time (earlier is quieter), so breakfast can be a friendly affair with the chance to chat to the other guests.

Pros: It was a secure entry and I liked the ease of access to enter the building and the email that was sent was very easily understood.
Cons: The parking permit had to be dropped off, so how was I to put in on the inside of my car. Especially if I was to be out past midnight, which was my plan.
I ended up getting a 30 dollar parking ticket which was the alternative to finding paid parking elsewhere, which i was not willing to do.

Pros: Nothing at all.
Cons: This is not a hotel. The owner rents the basement of the house. One of the most unconfortable places I have ever been. We stayed there for two days, just to sleep. There were almost no windows, terrible noise and awful bed and pillows. And, surprise! In our second day, we entered the place and found a guy wearing pants! We were never told we had to share space and bathroom!! And the owner missing so nobody to explain that. She was not kind anyway. And What is more, really bad situation, far from city centre and no useful public transport. AWFUL :(

Pros: Johann and his wife are very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. The bathroom is quiet new and all rooms are very tidy.
Cons: The rooms are in the celler. So the hight of the rooms is low. At night you need to concentrate not to push your head on the way to toilet. We booked a room for 3: doublebed + futon bed. unfortunately the futon bed was only a small air bed. Our son is 14 and he fell out of bed simple by turning at night.

Pros: The place was clean. You could serve yourself a small breakfast with tea or coffee there. We enjoyed talking to other guests.
Cons: The booked room was claimed "a king room for three" in a hotel. In reality, it appeared to be a room in a hostel with the bathrooms shared with the people that staid in other rooms; these details were not mentioned when booking the room. The house and furniture are old with squeaking doors and drawers. The advertised "room for 3" appeared to be a small room for 2 with a tiny uncomfortable extra bed for the 3rd person. The floor lamp was moved away from the socket due to the extra bed; there was not enough comfort and space for the 3 of us to place our suitcases and move inside the room.
