Pros: Location was great! Walking distance to the harbour.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Location could not be beat. We were in Toronto for a concert at the ScotiaBank Arena. This is right next door. Lots of shopping and restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: The bathroom stall door didn't stay closed (it was a slider). As long as no one else was using the bathroom, you could just close the main door and be private.

Pros: Got different room then expected
Cons: They got us into correct room second night
Excellent 10,0
Cons: I liked everything. The only problem was that the patio was always to busy for us to sit and have a drink. This should be more accommodating for customers!
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Housekeeping and room.
Cons: No fresh mild in refridgerator
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Bars were nice
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The hotel is clean and attentive to our needs. Friendly staff and an excellent location across from the underground shopping that leads to the bigger mall central.
Cons: Didn't have much time to enjoy their spa and other services.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I was attending a conference in the Convention Centre, which is literally across the street from the hotel, and thus very convenient. I had stayed there before for a previous convention and been much impressed both by the hotel itself and its convenience. Hence, my quibbles below.
Cons: The coffee in the bar was dreadful. Old, stale coffee oils! The machine could not have been properly cleaned for weeks. My shoes returned from the free shoe shine in a different (black) bag, but did not appear to have been touched by either brush or polish.
Poor 1,0
Pros: The pool
Cons: We were going to the taylor swift concert are Room was not ready way past our check in time of two hours past check in . The restaurant food was overpriced and substandard. I've stayed at a few ritz Carleton's and have was great this was terrible
Excellent 10,0
Pros: It's the second time to stay at Ritz Carlton. Very comfortable room and very good service as well as the downtown center location.
Good 6,8
Pros: -Various options on the television ie// Netflix, Bluetooth -The room service staff were great, however the staff at the reception could have been more friendly and inviting -the candy station in the lobby -the view -my privacy was respected, I liked that I was contacted by reception for room service to enter due to my privacy sign being on the door -comfy bed - large terrace -great gym -we were able to still order food from the restaurant despite being in the bar/lounge area; loved the staff, very friendly and welcoming, great atmosphere, loved the fire place -quick valet service
Cons: -I was givin a glass of champagne upon arrival, however my guest was not offered a glass upon checking in -room looked dated and did not quite measure up to the online photos -an item I ordered through in room dining was overcooked and dry -the pool area needs an update -waited too long to be greeted at the restaurant and therefore left to try the bar/lounge downstairs -value for money was poor -upon check out both staff were quite stiff, left me feeling unappreciated for choosing to stay at the Ritz Carlton
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Beautiful hotel!
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great staff, great service, great amenities and great location
Excellent 9,3

Pros: Great breakfast
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9,5
Pros: The staff were very friendly & accomodating. Breakfast was lovely. Loved the coffee machine and teas with kettle in room, a wonderful touch.
Cons: More milk & cream could of been available in refrigerator for guests, for their coffees & teas. Available toothpicks at breakfast or in room after snacks could of been available.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: From the moment you arrive, you are aware you are in a special place. The understated luxury and the attentive but discrete staff mean you can enjoy your stay in the knowledge everything you need is at your fingertips while enjoying as much privacy as you need. The wood-paneled design theme is carried through the hotel from the lobby to your room, which is a haven from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Do ask for a quiet room though as the noise of Toronto's condo construction boom can interrupt the tranquility in some areas (a problem not unique to Le Germain). But the hotel has even thought of that. It helpfully provides ear plugs in the bedrooms for those who are sleep-challenged. It's just one of the many little and big touches that make this hotel an oasis in the entertainment district of Canada's largest city, just a short distance from Toronto's island airport served by the Porter airline.
Cons: 1. Super staff who don't get "in your face" 2. Understated charm of hotel with thoughtful design touches 3. FantastIc bedrooms with plenty of space (judging by our room) 4. Convenient location in Toronto's downtown theatre district and close to waterfront
Excellent 10,0

Cons: No view from room
Good 7,5
Pros: Perfect location. European feel to hotel. Staff was nice.
Cons: The food quality at breakfast is very good, but has limited selection. Parking was expensive.
Mediocre 3,3
Pros: Size of room, amenities, staff, clean and quiet
Cons: Dimmly lighted, ac system hard to control, lack of seating. no grab bars in showers, Lack of bar soaps soap bars, the shower dispensers inconveniently located and hard to operate. No vent for shower. Constant problems with door locksz

Excellent 9,5
Pros: Great service and responsiveness from staff, fabulous spa treatments
Cons: A bit pricey Colour scheme of our room a bit gloomy
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The best thing about this hotel was the staff. Every person we came in contact with was so friendly and helpful. It was amazing.
Cons: For the price, and this could take into the prices for hotels in the area, I didn't think that the room was worth the price. The view was ok and the overall hotel room was ok. Not fantastic which is what I would expect for the price point.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Superb room (free upgrade); perfect service at all times.

Excellent 9,3
Pros: Spacious bathroom...huge bath
Excellent 9,3
Pros: The private cabanas around the pool were a really great feature, and the Moroccan-inspired relaxation area in the spa struck a luxurious yet serene vibe. The lobby lounge with nightly live music is one of the best hotel lounge atmospheres I've experienced.
Cons: The buttons to open and close the curtains in the room were a little malfunctional.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Perfect location. Excellent service
Excellent 10,0
Pros: This hotel is a class act, in all regards! The beds are sumptuously comfortable! The restaurant was also outstanding! If you are fortunate, at Bosk, Kevin will seeve you an Max will be on standby to support your needs - fantastic!
Cons: Nada - all was spectacular!

Pros: The staff were great. Service was excellent.
Cons: There were some minor problems with in room facilities. The fridge didn’t work and had to be replaced. There were some recurring problems with TV service.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The doormen were very helpful.
Cons: There was no onsite self parking. Also, the hotel stay should have included a perk such as complimentary breakfast or drinks.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Classic
Cons: Picture looks little better than actual but overall it’s fine
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Lovely hotel room very clean and spacious, location was excellent right by bars and restaurants. Staff friendly and welcoming
Cons: Prices of drinks in the bar
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Beautiful hotel in a great location!
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Nice comfortable king bed.
Cons: A/C a little noisy
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Loved the location, the decor, the beautiful room and huge luxury bathroom (shower only in our room but that worked us). Super comfy bed and sparkling clean , everywhere. This beautiful hotel made our stay in Toronto really special . We would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends. Housekeeping staff was so friendly and provided top notch service. The room was cleaned to the same standard as the day we arrived, every day -no short cuts!
Cons: The free internet was just dreadful! Worst experience in a hotel of this caliber, anywhere in the world. We are frequent global travelers and this was the worst quality anywhere we have been to in the last 5 years. Speed was decent when you go on but it lasted for a few minutes and then you have to log in again.

Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything. The room was beautiful, the bed comfortable, the bedding crisp and high quality. The bathroom good, the shower strong and hot. The staff helpful.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The place had a nice kitchenette, with even a washing machine and a dishwasher. Although I was only there for a couple of days, I can imagine it's excellent for traveling with family or a long-term stay. The staff, including the cleaning staff, were all super nice.
Cons: Everything was great.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Clean, very chic, comfy and luxurious at a great cost
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Wonderful room with an amazing view on Toronto skyscrapers. Position right in the centre of Toronto downtown, with a subway station literally next to the hotel door. We really enjoyed our stay and, although this is not a budget accommodation, we did not pay too much for what we got.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Staff were very helpful.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: The room had a nice size, was clean and comfortable.
Cons: The bathroom was pretty small, and not enough space to put all the toiletries.
Good 6,8
Pros: Location. The hotel had two entrances on opposite sides of the building. It was near a subway stop. Color scheme was a nice, calming grey. The bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. Near 2 convenience store/pharmacies. Many food choices nearby.
Cons: The door on the refrigerator opened the opposite way of the door in front of it. Also, on the first day we were there the refrigerator defrosted and left a giant puddle on the floor. The entry to the room was not carpeted, but the rest of the room was. However, the piece of metal where the transition was painful if you stepped on it. Annoying trying to avoid it every time you went to the bathroom, entry, or kitchenette. We were on the 39th floor and the molding in the hallway above the elevator was coming off of the wall. I'm not sure what happened (water damage?) but it looked very odd.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Clean, friendly and good location
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Staff was super friendly and helpful. In suite laundry was major bonus to wash and dry running gear before packing into suitcase. Room comfortable, well appointed. Historical building was neat, lobby nice, convenient location downtown. Valet parking was expensive but necessary as there appeared nothing convenient around. Well suited to transit and walking. Views were fantastic from 36th floor suite, and gym was great, with super views, on 17th floor. Sandwich/pastry shop off lobby was good, Starbucks immediately across street.
Cons: No in suite breakfast option, so either be prepared (and make use of in suite kitchen), hit restaurant downstairs (which seemed expensive), or plan for pastry or coffee shop mere steps away.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: The front desk and the bellboy who stored our luggage was great.
Cons: The car parking valet was rude
Good 7,0
Pros: The staff were very friendly and loved the convenience of your location.
Cons: The bar and food area was below par but I think you were going through renovations?? The morning breakfast was ok. I wouldn’t have opted for that my second morning.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Great location with very helpful and friendly valet staff!

Pros: Nice hotel on the edge of the downtown core, an easy walk to restaurants and bars on King Street West, Queen Street West, Chinatown and Kensington Market. Hotel is low-rise and relatively small, which is a plus for me. Easy, but somewhat expensive parking underground with direct access to hotel. Luxury room was comfortable and spacious.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Concierge service was excellent. The hotel was clean and well-appointed with lots of luxuries and very comfortable beds.
Cons: Walburgers was horrible

Pros: Breakfast was great and location perfect. Beds comfy and room a good size. Glad that there was a fridge. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: It seemed expensive to me but is probably comparable to others in the area.

Pros: Location was within walking to sites and restaurants in the city. Rooms were beautiful and comfortable.
Cons: nothing
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Location, renovation and breakfast team.
Cons: None.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Clean modern room right in the heart of Toronto's entertainment and shopping areas. Great food (not so great Caesar salad) in the dining room at a great value. Staff was very pleasant and the pet friendly floor was quiet and very restful.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location was great walked or took subway everywhere. All staff that we talked to were super helpful and friendly.
Cons: Ac in room was loud. Felt like they were overcharging for parking, you could pay at the meter for 18 dollars a day (week day) and the said it was 33 dollars for in and out privileges. Might be more worth while if you have to go out alot or on weekends.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Great local, friendly, clean
Cons: No room service
Okay 5,0
Pros: Location is fantastic and lots of restaurants close by.
Cons: The lights that are attached to the wall near the beds were broken and some held on with electrical tape. Descriptions says newly renovated you won't expect there to be damages already or if anything replaced.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everyone seemed to be friendly hotel it self was in a excellent location, bed was super comfy , and room was clean
Cons: The a/c and or fan didnt work well
Excellent 10,0

Excellent 8,0
Pros: The hotel is great...beautiful place to walk in to. Loved that checkout was not until 12 and we were able to check in a bit earlier
Cons: Room was just ordinary so priced high and not the view we were promised. Food in hotel restaurant was good but ridiculously priced....$67.00 plus tips for 2 burgers and fries and gingerale.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Location
Cons: The fact that Gym is under equipped
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Location is fantastic!!!!
Cons: The air conditioning was not great.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Beautiful facilities, beautiful location and room. Very clean and well kept during our stay. 10/10 for location. Views from the 24th floor were absolutely breathtaking. Valet, cleaning services, and bellhop staff were more than amazing!
Cons: The room service staff that answered the phone in the morning the day we checked out was not very pleasant. They hung up on me and was very rude.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent Location , fantastic service and cleanliness Ice machine available each flower
Okay 5,5
Pros: Location
Cons: Not a welcoming staff in the front desk . I booked a double twin beds, I got one king bed, there excuse was we are busy with festival. very noisy in the room, from the street and next door rooms
Okay 4,3
Pros: Very convenient which is the only good thing.
Cons: The wifi sucks; and the guys at the front showed a “I owe him 10k dollars” face when I check in, and he gave us the room which is the end of the hallway at first, is this ur hotel’s strategy to let customer add more money to upgrade their room? No toothpaste and toothbrush which I was very confused; the room smells strange; I won’t come here again.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Everything was good other than above. Big bright clean room. Lovely lounge/restaurant. Location was great for ease and access to the train to airport
Cons: Didn't like that I found a straight razor on the floor in the bathroom. Stepped on it....flat side luckily. Staff showed a little concern. They refunded me a small food/beverage charge. Just not sure how it was missed during cleaning? Could have been VERY BAD....
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Room rate is very reasonable based on location
Cons: Valet parking a little bit high side

Pros: Upgraded for no extra charge. Great location and 12pm checkout.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: The cleanness was significant and the view of restaurant into the Rogers center is unique
Cons: The view from the windows in my room opens to the railway, which is not satisfactory
Excellent 9,5
Pros: The bed
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Friendly staff, big room, comfortable bed, great location
Cons: no
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location was perfect! Easy access to the subway and walking distance to the theater district.
Cons: Wifi was terrible. Worked great in the lobby but in the room it there really wasn't any reliable service.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Very nice room and the hotel is in a great location for tourist activities
Cons: Drapes cords were tied together high above your head (i.e. ceiling was about 20' high). As a result, the drapes could not be opened and prevented you from looking out the window. Was later advised that this was not intended as normal practice.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Our Kind suite on the club level was spacious and beautifully appointed! Amazing location to walk anywhere and explore and an easy walk through the skywalk from Union Station.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Great location! The experience of staying IN the baseball park was great for my kids. If you don't have a room with a stadium view, you can get the same view from the restaurant in the hotel. The room was huge and the bathroom was spacious and modern.
Cons: It was nice that there was a guest laundry. However, there was no change machine or soap machine in the laundry room. I had to make several trips to the front desk and bar for quarters, and to the corner store for detergent. Then the dryer didn't dry the clothes, even after several hours. It's a little thing, but if you are going to charge $400 for a room, please make the laundry free or at least much more convenient and effective.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Everything!
Cons: The power washing of the seats in the stadium at 4 am.
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Clean and centrally located.
Cons: It was pricey.
Poor 1,0
Pros: Location
Cons: Parking was offered 5 months ago and this time told differently! Front staff was rude, told us policy changed? Ignorant and poor customer service Will not stay there again
Excellent 9,0
Pros: The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. the Staff were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The hotel is in the entertainment district and within walking distance to everything we needed.
Cons: all good … nothing negative can be said.

Excellent 8,3
Pros: The room decor was lovely, the staff was friendly and what a great location!
Cons: The cot they brought us would not fit into the room so we had to make do which did not make for a very comfortable night’s sleep. The toilet was difficult to flush.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location Decoration
Cons: Room was locked and to 30 mins to figure out how to get in room. Service in lobby bar slow. Lots of staff , little service
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Staff was courteous and room was large and comfortable. The location was ideal for a tourist arriving by train.
Cons: When I arrived they couldn't find my pre-paid reservation on the system and I was lucky I had the confirmation on my phone's email or I might have been in trouble. The lobby was huge and busy and it was hard to figure out where to check in.
Excellent 9,5
Pros: We had a lovely stay. What put it over the top was the kind gesture one of your staff made. After learning we were her to celebrate the extraordinary fund raising efforts of my daughter with the team at princess margaret hospital, Amanda from the front desk arranged a bottle of sparkling water and for decadent strawberries to be delivered to our room with a hand written note to my daughter. She was over the moon delighted with this gesture! Please say thank you to Amanda, you made MJs day! Well done!
Cons: Nothing- everything was superb
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Excellent staff and customer service!
Excellent 9,3
Pros: ordered room service. beautiful and fun treat. However, we have both had gastric sleeve surgery so the portions were too big and we had to leave 75% of the food behind.
Cons: no fan in the bathroom
Excellent 10,0
Pros: wonderful hotel
Excellent 8,8
Pros: I chose the location because it was across the street from the train station. They offered a "nice breakfast" for $30, so I went elsewhere.
Cons: I surprisingly had a less than wonderful mattress. They left a fictitious statement under my door during the night. They added their 'Urban Fee" AKA Resort Tax despite their assurance that they wouldn't, which I verified on check-in. I've asked for them to credit my account, and if it doesn't happen soon will open a fraud complaint with my bank.
Excellent 10,0

Cons: Fiod was but more expensuve, however amount of food and qualury made up for that

Pros: Close to what I need
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location
Okay 5,5
Pros: We liked the 17th floor because it was quiet; there was no city or traffic noise. The woman tending the bar was very friendly.
Cons: The room was not ready at time of checkin. We had to wait over 30 minutes. During that time we were not allowed to use the concierge lounge even though we are gold elite members. For the cost of the room And being loyal members I expected much nicer accommodations from Marriot.
Excellent 9,3
Pros: Great location !
Cons: The refrigerator was dirty so I question the level of cleanliness
Excellent 9,5
Pros: Fantastic location in downtown Toronto
Excellent 10,0

Cons: I like every thing,
Excellent 10,0
Pros: Location, and the breakfast was wonderful.
Good 6,8
Pros: The hotel and the staff were very nice. The room was clean. The parking was convenient.
Cons: Too expensive! Fees fees and more fees! The location was a little too busy. The traffic when coming in and out of the garage was a little difficult.,but that’s the city. Then all the homeless people sleeping next to the building made us a little uncomfortable to go out the side entrance especially at night.

Cons: No
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location and pool
Good 7,5
Pros: Friendly staff, great location. Right next to the ferry’s for Toronto Island.
Cons: Hotel was difficult to access by car. Could hear people outside talking late at night from our room on the 3rd floor.
Excellent 10,0
Pros: I loved the location . It was perfect. Everything in walking distance . We did the cruise so it worked out excellent for us.
Cons: It was all great
Excellent 9,0
Pros: Location is superb on the harbourfront. Easy access to transit and subway, bike path, walk path along the shore, entertainment on the water and restaurants in and around hotel.
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Excellent location right on harbor front. Close to public transportation. Walking distance to major attractions.
Cons: Terrible pillows. Room on street side very noisy.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Clean room with comfortable bed.
Cons: No blackout curtains on window so city lights shone into room all night......also music playing at harbourfront was heard through window......noisy area caused numerous sleep interruptions…...
Excellent 10,0
Pros: The location was excellent. The room was very nice and spacious.,overlooking the pool area.
Cons: The only thing negative to say was the room was a little pricey but if you are comparing to others in the area not really out of line.
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location
Cons: This hotel doesn’t meet the requirements for a 4star hotel.
Okay 5,8
Pros: The pool and location view.
Cons: The cleaning staff was rude as if you ask for any towels or whatever it is u want they say one is enough when we were 3 people in the room and I had no clue why they were being stingy for no apparent reason. The fire alarm rang 3 times when we stayed for no reason at bedtime just awful.

Okay 5,5
Pros: The property is ok. Nothing great.
Cons: It is not as described by other travelers. Nothing amazing. Just ok. Customer service was so so too. They don’t clean the rooms unless you tell them too which is weird. Also they kept sending texts about their nightclub which we specifically said we didn’t care for.
Good 7,5
Pros: Nice clean hotel room... server on rooftop bar was brutal ! we talked with manager
Excellent 8,8
Pros: Vibe, service, and location was great.
Cons: Bed was uncomfortable
Okay 4,5
Pros: I liked the location and responsive housekeeping.
Cons: We were drawn to the Thompson for the highly rated pool since we were staying for a week at the end of June. Unfortunately, the pool is small with very limited lounge seating. It is also not exclusive to hotel guests allowing residents and members, so a lot of people are vying for a small number of lounge chairs. We were only able to get seats one day. The Rooftop Lounge is open to all as long as there is not a private event. Twice we went to get a drink at the end of our evening. The first time there was a private event. One hotel employee was kind enough to take our picture but we were quickly shuffled off into the elevator by another hotel employee. The second time there was not an event, but all seating was reserved with views of the skyline obscured by the crowd. I would not recommend this hotel. We are accustomed to hotels that cater to their guests, making you their top priority, and that is not the case here.
Good 7,5
Pros: Great location, great rooftop terrace
Excellent 10,0
Pros: We could see the CN tower from our room.
Cons: We had a plugged sink.
Okay 5,5
Pros: The rooftop pool and cleanliness
Cons: It’s not fit for a family the club downstairs can get crowded out front. The location is a half hour walk from the downtown. The staff is not really helpful at all if you have any questions they’re clueless. No one really helps you with your bags n the door not what we r used to at all. It’s a hotel for adults looking to have a good time. There r condoms n lube in the minibar.
Excellent 8,3
Pros: Location was good, and the hotel was very stylish. The staff were also extremely helpful. The rooms were very modern and comfortable. My daughter and I LOVED the heated floor in the bathroom, and I personally liked the wood flooring in the bedroom as well. The beds were comfortable, and we had a great view of the CN Tower. We ordered pancakes for room service one morning, and they were great!
Cons: We got along just fine with our 8-year-old daughter there, but I could see where this hotel might not be the most family-friendly for everyone. The shower was really cool, but I could see where it would be awkward with little ones (you could see the shadows of the person taking the shower from the bedroom area).
Good 7,5
Pros: Staff. Location Room amenities. Rooftop. Diner
Cons: Bathroom is dangerous. Very slippery and no safety hsbfles
Excellent 8,0
Pros: Location friendly front of house especially Elizabeth I would recommend this hotel to my friends even though I have a few suggestions in the box below
Cons: House keeping very poor not used to long stay bookings Room service was appalling not once was successful without prompting from reception no communication between the 2 or reception to room service Bombarded with cigarette butts and empty packets thrown down from the rooms above The pool area needs considerations about privacy for the over 49 ish guest having people waiting for the lift ( which takes forever) looking at me round the pool is very uncomfortable if not a bit creepy
Okay 5,0
Cons: Very basic room for s very high price
Okay 4,8
Pros: Style and location was good, great rooftop pool
Cons: Overall the property was run down and not the best condition. Pool was great view but no space. Love Thompson overall in Cabo and Chicago, but not comparable here - needs to step it up
