Cons: Our AC didn’t work for the first night. It’s very cold at that day. AC couldn’t heat, and temperature in the room even went down after we turned on AC. Also, the maintenance guy came to our room, and always saying there’s no problem with the AC, it just takes time to heat. He used few hours and didn’t fix it. During the maintenance, since he needed to turn the AC on, the room temperature was cold during these maintenance hour.

Cons: The duvet was so warm we had to put the heat way down and still woke up sweating, but then it was too cold to remove covers. Should give a 3rd large towel, even though there are only 2 people. Paper towels in the kitchen would've been also appreciated

After booking , we get an email that restaurant will be closed.
That wasnt fair really.

Pros: My boyfriend and I came for our 6 year anniversary. We wanted to explore Toronto, so we came early. The staff was amazing! When we got there, they let us have an early check in and explained the parking and amenities very well. The hotel is in the perfect proximity to everything in Toronto. We will be staying there again upon our return.

Pros: We stayed at the Cambridge Suites as part of a weekend getaway. In the heart of downtown and right around the corner from Massey Hall, the Cambridge Suites was withiin walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The suite was spacious and offered every convenience. The bed was extremely comfortable and the linens clean and crisp. The room was very quiet and the staff was most accomodating. We would definitely stay here again.

Pros: This was a great deal! It is conveniently located downtown near the Air Canada Centre and a quick walk to the Hockey Hall of Fame. It's not easy finding a 4-star deal downtown, but this was definitely one! Everyone was kind and answered all our questions. Staff throughout the hotel was inquisitive and helpful. Parking on site and not too bad of a price. Highly recommended!

Pros: I compared alot of hotels for our long weekend visit to Toronto. The Cambridge seemed to offer the best value as far as price, location, and you get a suite not just a room. The room were clean, and recently refurbished. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was very firm, but we prefer it that way. The hotel has a strictly enforced no noise policy, which is something we appreciated. We were able to get the rest we needed after very full days taking in Toronto.

Cons: The temperature in the room was a little on the warm side. Not uncomfortable, but we would have preferred it a little cooler. Weather outside was in the 90's. Turning the thermostat down did not seem to help.

Cons: The rate of 270 CAD did not include anything, not even a free bottle of water in the room, breakfast had to be paid in addition. The room did not have direct daylight as the window was facing towards the indoor pool area and was blocked by some part of the roof construction. I never saw such a strange architectural solution before - maybe for good reason. Part of the staff seemed not to be used in dealing with foreign customers who do not speak native English.

Cons: There are huge construction works alongside the hotel. Workers start at 6am or 7am and trucks come anytime, even at 1am or 2am. Because of the noise, we could not sleep. When we complained, we were given a better and quieter room but even then we were disturbed by the noise. Of course, the hotel is not responsible for this situation but not to mention anything on the website is inappropriate and is a lack of transparency and honesty towards the guests.

Cons: The only downside to the Grand is the city that has grown up around it. The location is unfortunately surrounded by construction, but this seems to be the new normal in Toronto. We heard no noise from our room, and the location is still very convenient.

Most south tower rooms are directly across from the elevators do you hear people and the elevators all night. Restaurant is a typical hotel “breakfast room”, not a restaurant with any kind of ambiance. Felt like a cold and cheap buffet/cafeteria. It’s a big old property that needs some serious improvements beyond new beds and wallpaper

Cons: The rooms are pretty dark and the forced coverings were annoying. While I was facing a back alley and other rooms of the hotel, it would have been nice to be able to adjust the window covers as much as I want. Would have added natural light and air to the room.

Cons: The room (two twin beds) was SO small. There was no fridge in the room. There were so many charges on my credit card (deposit, first night, final charge) and they were all different from what I had been quoted / invoiced for in person. It took about 4 days for my credit card to finally be reconciled to the proper amount... in the mean time I checked the progress everyday to ensure proper billing. Size, cost, billing experience and overall underwhelming experience will not having me returning to this establishment.

Cons: The cleanliness of the bathroom was quite disappointing. There was mold in the grout lines of the bathtub, which really surprised me. I also noticed a long black hair on one of bathroom towels that were supposed to be "clean." Because I am not a very picky person, I brushed these things aside, but I am aware that these are extreme "no-nos" to a number of people.

Cons: The wifi was Very dodgy in parts of the room which made it hard and frustrating. The bed was huge but uncomfortable ie; lumpy and hard and the pillows were not 4star hotel pillows.

Cons: Large rooms BUT : Some floors of the hotel are under renovation - especially during daytime, you won't probablly have a good rest! Turning on the heat in the room almost needed a technical degree...

Cons: I didn’t like having to swipe my room key in the lobby after 11pm to get into the hotel.

Cons: no smiles from staff, no dishes, laundry detergent etc in the kitchenette washer/dryer suite. Obtainable at front desk but seemed to be no staff at night with the hotel door locked key card access only. Had to let in a locked out & annoyed late check-in.

Cons: The Wi-Fi was down the day I arrived but fixed o day 2. The wall of outlets with the table lamps didn't work so this was slightly inconvenient, but the rest of the room and stay was great! Paid breakfast only.
