Pros: Nothing.

Cons: It would have been nice if the reservation had actually been made after we were forced to pay in advance to an Israeli company that went bankrupt and is being sued over capers just like this. You should be ashamed to have been associated with such thievery. I would strongly recommend that no traveler EVER use your website again since you work with such criminals.

Pros: The location

Cons: Everything , from ordering , to keeping the correct room that we ordered, it was a birthday celebration and they didnt do what they told, they didnt really tried to fix our experiences. The valley gave us the car back full of dust

Pros: Rooms were very comfortable and clean. Courteous and friendly staff. Location is excellent for shopping. I definitely would return to stay again.

Cons: Had some unusually noisy middle-of-the-night mechanical noises. Staff compensated us with points willingly and graciously more than making up for it.

Cons: No free WiFi in room, just lounge area. Pool and jacuzzi were closed, which was a real disappointment since it was one of the major reasons why I chose the hotel. My view wasn't great but I understand it's kind of a thing that's out of my control.

Pros: The rooms were very clean, as was the gym. The location is within a short walk of most anything you'd might like to experience on a short trip to Chicago and yet the hotel is on a side street that keeps the nights stay quiet.

Cons: Here's the thing: The Hyatt hotel is immaculately clean, provides comfortable bedding, has a large, clean Gym, and is near most of the things that I would want to do in a short period of time in Chicago... So why two? Because these are the things that any hotel should have. Saying these things are a perk of the Hyatt is like saying or Raven has the perk of being especially black- it's a raven, of course it's feathers are black- The problem here is that the photography and the advertising of the hotel makes it appear to be something that it is not: it is not a stunning luxury property. It does not have an incredibly intuitive and beyond accommodating staff, and it is not a property that includes the kind of accommodations that I'd expected when I had originally booked my stay. More on par with a comfort inn, or Marriott courtyard, then a main-name property such as JW Marriott, Hilton, or Westin, this "Hyatt" seemed bare-bones and disorganized. Two rather slow elevator trips separate you from any convenience of entrance and exit- The room was not ready when I arrived and the option suggested to me in compensation was a larger suite that featured less beds then I requested and came at an additional cost, as that was my fault my room was not ready, and as if if I would prefer to pay more for something that offered less than what I had asked for. At any class hotel, I wouldn't have been upgraded, and I would have been upgraded at cost to the property. The bathrooms, while clean, were adorned with showerheads that looked like they had been purchased in a 1986 apartment building resale auction and worked about as well as an exposed drain pipe I once showered beneath in Thailand. Parking is a full $24 per day more expensive than the majority of the garages around the area, which for the life of me I can't understand why, and the valets took nearly 15 minutes more than they had suggested to retrieve my car when requested, and did so in such a manner that the majority of things I keep in my trunk had shifted- and believe me for someone who drives as aggressively as I do without cause for such an occurrence- this can only lead me to believe that the valets thought perhaps they were in a stock car race. overall, it's not so much that I dislike to my stay at the Hyatt- it's that being in Chicago native company, and a highly rated hotel, with a main branch name, I genuinely expected to be walking into a situation that was just one star more professional than what I received- and the Accumulation of one experience after the other constantly coming in just slightly less than what it should have been found me leaving the hotel with a fairly negative taste in my mouth, not for the stay that I received, but for the complete and underwhelming lack of what I had expected. My suggestion- if you were going to stay 20 minutes outside the city at some discount hotel, this place is better. But if you want the downtown Chicago experience, don't even look in this direction

Pros: Brenda served us for breakfast most days. She was a the best. Always attentive friendly. Took care of us well. Our last day we had a different waitress and our order wasn't right, we couldn't get her attention and had to get a manager in order to get our check. When you go for breakfast in the fabulous restaurant, ask for Brenda. Loved the green drink with Apple, spinach and ginger. It was really good.

Pros: The air conditioning.

Cons: Our room was not ready at check-in. The bed skirt was torn and stained. The in-room movie played very poorly. The staff was unfriendly.

Pros: The staff was very helpful and freindly. The room was clean and very nice located near a lot of shopping. Our stay was very enjoyable and we will stay here again soon.

Cons: Not really. A common suggestion that I have is in relation to the lights at the nightstand. Most places I've stayed, including this hotel, have both lights for double beds in between them. It would be better to have a light on the far side of the bed so the guest sleeping in the other bed is not disturbed by the late-night reader (me!).

Pros: Staff was very helpful and we were able to get a later checkout upon our departure, which was nice and allowed to kids to swim for a bit before we left. Check in and out was easy, and parking was easily accessible.

Cons: The price on the all inclusive Disney kids on Demand TV package I order did not reflect what was charged to my bill. It was only a difference of $2.99 and ultimately not a big deal, but still, I feel as though you should be paying what you are quoted. Also, being that it was a holiday weekend, it would have been nice if breakfast was open until 10 as it is on the weekends, but I get the weekend vs. weekend schedule. The lines were a bit long by the end of breakfast and early breakfast is always hard to do with my kids. But again, not a huge deal in the whole scheme of things. We will definitely be back.

Pros: We wanted to be close to Navy Pier and we were!! The suite was clean and functional and quiet once the door was shut.

Cons: The hotel is massive--I had no idea. And if you have a fear of heights (as I do) it is not for you: the suites open onto a huge atrium space. Check- in was easy and there was no check-out. In fact, I was told that if I needed a receipt that I needed to get it through booking.com (I found that odd). There is no personal service, yet they do manage to serve breakfast and a cocktail or wine to the hordes quite efficiently.

Pros: Enjoyed the room and the overall layout of the room.

Pros: Loved the convenience to attractions and activities downtown, and really enjoyed the cooked-to-order omelets in the morning. Watching the chef was great!

Cons: I didn't care for the decor/style of the room floors; looking out from the hallway it reminded me of a prison or a housing project. While I enjoyed the stay, the room, and the service, none of it was worth the price I paid. Way too expensive.

Pros: The room was incredibly nice. Much better than what I thought we would get for the price we paid. Great view of the city and nothing beats a complimentary all you can eat breakfast!

Pros: The location is in walking distance to many stores and restaurants, which was great, because we did not need to get cabs. Also, the rooms were large enough to have the kids with us and not feel crowded.

Cons: We booked 3 non smoking rooms and 2 of the rooms smelled badly of cigarette smoke. I would still stay here in the future with the family, but would definitely make sure the rooms around the non smoking, were also non smoking.

Cons: They changed our reservation for a suite with two beds and a pull out couch to 1 king bed. Could not find the 3rd party email to show them this was wrong, had to pay an "upgrade fee" to get what we had already paid for. The Willis tower has over 105 elevator cars, this place had 3 and one of those was not working. 2 elevators that served 15 floors. Housekeepers very kind, but you never see them until late in the afternoon/evening. Had to call down for towels every day of our stay. Had an awesome view: of the construction right outside of our window. Good news, the crews don't work weekends. Bad news: they work late in the day. Interior is dated. Beds are hard.

Pros: The staff was excellent. ALL staff members were superior in their performances from checking to cleaning staff everyone was helpful. The concierge service was extremely knowledgeable of the area and transportation and very helpful.

Pros: Convenient location for where I had to be. Unfortunately, didn't do much other than sleep in the room.

Cons: Usually, when there's a switch at the door, it works a floor lamp but there was no door. Had to call downstairs to figure out how to work the shower in the tub/shower. One of the bedside lamps flickered every time the table was tapped. Finally, it almost seemed like this room is used to stock other rooms when things break.

Cons: The beds were well used. I slept in a very deep impression in the bed. The mattresses were covered with a duvet placed under a top sheet (instead of a fitted sheet) I assume to make the mattresses feel more comfortable and less lumpy. It was the worst mattress I've ever slept in in a hotel. Poor parking options. $125 for two days (non valet) No roof top bar or pool. Charges for any local outgoing calls or 1-800 #'s. A little thing, but a main bulb was burnt out in the bathroom and it wasn't changed before or during my stay. Made the bathroom quite dark. The tub facet dripped constantly.

Cons: On checking in,we were told our reservation had been canceled, It had, but a new one had been made (because of better conditions later) which they could not find until we showed them the references.Then the bill that we were presented on checking out did not reflect the rate that we had booked for. Eventually we showed our confirmation again and the rate was corrected, with due apoligies for the mistake and for the time it took to correct it (but fortunately we were not in a hurry)2.Small unwelcoming lobby.3.On sunday,the room wasn't made until after 2 pm.
