Honest horrible experience. The pick up time was super bad with long wait times, also they car they gave me had dents and scratches all over it and they car was in horrible shape. I am never using ace again ..

The ace representative behind the counter was amazing. It only took a few minutes. And he was very courteous and kind very professional and understanding we came in very late at night and he got us out right away thank you thank you thank you

Super frustrating. They limited mileage because of a Florida license and wouldn’t change the reservation to the spouse and they do not allow you to use your own toll pass. Even bought a new sunpass and when we called sunpass they said ace doesn’t allow it. So we had to either add an extra hour each way on our trip (with little kids) or pay $15/day penalty plus tolls. Only other option was to pay $13.99/day for unlimited tolls. Car was just okay. Kind of beat up. Won’t be doing a rental with them again.

We arrived in Toronto with our family of 6 on time. The shuttle to pick us up was a 5 seater SUV even though when you call they ask how many people are in your group so we had to break in two groups to do two trips. We get inside ACE car rentals to be told the are putting us in a 5 seater SUV! We reserved a 7 seater SUV for the 6 of us so clearly a 5 seater won't work. The worker sat there arguing with my husband saying my husband doesn't understand that they don't have 7 seaters available! We reserved a 7 seater well in advanced by the way. So they tried to get us to take two cars but only one of us drives and how does that make any sense to have double the tolls,parking and gas! Anyways the worker looked online and told us that enterprise has a 7 seater available. He did not call to confirm just got the shuttle (two SUVs ) to drop us off. We go in to enterprise with our 4 children all of our luggage to be told they do not have ANY vehicles available and now we are stranded in a city we are not familiar with and have no vehicle to get anywhere. This experience was absolutely terrible. We spent well over 2 hours after our 5 hour flight looking for a vehicle to rent. We still have not been reimbursed for the vehicle we never recieved on top of all of this.

I liked the personnel. I disliked total price with compulsory state insurance not being disclosed up front and clearly, similar to how competitors present their products. Had to take two shuttles in 116 degree heat.

I did not like the fact that they didn’t honor the rate that I was given in my original reservation and they tried to obligate me to pay for liability insurance even though I provided evidence that my personal auto insurance covered liability. I will not rent from this company again.
