I was provided a different location for cat pickup when I booked it. Fortunately I called ahead of time and found out that car was located in a different location and that too a different type of car compared to what I had booked. In the end though, Enterprise was able to locate the car in their system and the rental experience was very good.

terrible on return of car i left brand new sunglasses in car — unfortunately by the time i realized i was at the airport; i immediately contacted sixt — told them the facts the follow up has been awful supposedly they have not been able to find them — which is ridiculous since i let them in the car likely someone had taken them from the company — i have asked them to replace the sunglasses without any reply back this is a new car company and id expect better customer service we will not rent from them again terrible experience

My experience with Avis was fine. But my experience with Kayak was not. When I searched for a car rental, I found a number of cars available for roughly $150 a day. Then there was the "manager's choice" car at Avis, which was listed at $155.54 -- total. I naturally booked that, and received an email that appeared to confirm that the total price was $155.54. As it turned out, that was false, and I wound up paying $518.42. I am not happy about that. My only gripe with Avis is that I wound up renting an electric car, but received no advice about where to charge it. I ultimately tried two charging stations, one of which was going to take 12 hours to charge, and was nowhere near where I was staying, and the other one of which was a "fast charge" station that could only charge one car at a time, and it was in use. So I was never able to charge the car.

Everything was super good, except at the pick up counter, there was very long lines, the wait time was around one hour, and 45 minutes, people in the line were complaining about the long wait, you definitely should get more staff to help with the long lines to get the wait time down

They had 1 person working and took about 15 minutes to check in each customer. The line was wrapped around the lobby. It took longer to fly than it did to wait in the line. We and others eventually had to leave without picking up our car. They probably do this on purpose. Do not rent from them even if the price looks right!!! Unless you have half a day to spare waiting in line.

Everything about this experience, aside from the employees assisting us, was absolutely abysmal. - The wait to check in was over an hour and the desk was terribly understaffed (a single person the entire time). - The wait to get to the vehicles was also over an hour, in a poorly organized area and combined with Budget and Avis rentals. Again, the team was terribly understaffed but competent, patient, and helpful. - The wait to have the vehicle checked (for what, I am still not sure) was unnecessary and could be consolidated when provisioning the vehicles or at the exit gate. - The wait to exit the garage was also unnecessarily long. As you just read, there were four separate lines that everyone was required to be a part of and limited staff to support an easily planned for influx in rentals. This was a failing of organization and planning on both the airport and Avis/Budget/Payless.

I normally use National and it’s easy to just got grab an available car. Budget had a lot of people waiting with now real ETA. I waited at least 20-30 minutes with a reservation but some were waiting more than an hour or two.

When we got to the place staff were friendly however we booked a small sedan because we wanted to save money on the gass do to a long drive to Las Vegas from Phoenix when we got there the manager tells me the car they were having available was a f150 v8 so I ended expecting way more money on gas than I was in my budget.

Pick up was efficient , car was great. Lot easy to navigate. The drop off went smoothly they only issue was getting my emailed receipt, this has been a problem several times when I have rented from budget. , I have had to call and they always say they don’t have my email address which is a lie since they send me emails ALL THE TIME. And the staff can’t answer why this keeps happening and can’t transfer me to anyone who can tell my why it happening because apparently I’m the only one who has this problem (I asked them that specifically)

Drop off was horrible. I was yelled at by the man checking cars in told me I couldn’t leave the car where I left it, but I was unable to back up and it was a lane clearly marked fox returns. I’ll never rent from fox again.

We reserved a car in my partners name and paid for it with a credit card in my name. But when we got there they would not allow us to have a car because the card name and the driver name had to match. And they couldn’t change the name on the reservation. So we had to cancel and do a new reservation which took quite a bit of time.

I booked a car via KAYAK one way from Phoenix to Tucson. In the booking it was stated that car is by agency choice. When I cam to pick-up, I was told that this is "manager special" and it is electric car with less than 100miles range, clearly not match to my booking. As a result I was charged extra $20 for gasoline car. I do not understand why I was offered the option that is clearly not suitable for my request and thus I was charged extra.

When I arrived in Arizona, I made a reservation to go back home. I did it through the Internet and the Internet gave me the wrong dates. I ran to the airport because it was a Sunday. The only place that was open was the airport the guy at the airport I don’t remember his name. I told him that I made a reservation that I need to cancel it because the date was wrong. He said no problem. He would cancel it. I try to get a car to rent, but I only had my debit card The company does not take a debit card the rest of my cards I could not use, so young guy promised he would cancel reservation . Well, he didn’t and I kept getting emails. Finally I called the company after half hour finally someone came to the phone. The girl said no problem. She’ll cancel it for me that it was not canceled. Hopefully my card wasn’t charged so I’m not happy about the whole ordeal because I was promised it was gonna be canceled and it wasn’t and not only that the screen was open left open. I did ask him to close the screen. He said it was fine, so I’m hoping that my credit cards are not in the web somewhere

3:30 am drop off at Sky Harbor and no Hertz employees there to receive us. We just parked car in a slot and went to plane. I had to call Hertz to tell them where we parked it so i wouldn't get docked for being late.

Absolutely terrible! Got to the rental center and the dollar check in line had 40-45 people ahead of us with 3 check in people. We waited for 10!mins and when the line didn’t even move we walked away and never rented the car. It would have taken us about 1.5 hrs to get to the front of the line. Car was pre paid and non refundable so lost the money on the car. Every other car rental company had 2-5 people in the line.

I had a great experience. Easy to find pick up location since they have signs everywhere. Drivers are nice and helpful and offered a water which was great after a flight. I arrived and was treated great. David was awesome, No pressure very nice and helpful! I returned car and the gentleman that received my car was also awesome, nice and very polite! I was worried because of the reviews but im glad i gave them a try. I would rent from them again.

It was not a positive experience. The location is way off-off airport and takes a long time to get there. Furthermore, once there they claimed I was too late to receive the car I had booked, thus they upcharged me to an upgrade for the only cars they had remaining. Making an inexpensive rental car 3x as expected and an inconvenient experience all in all. Furthermore the agent tried the hard sell on me for additional insurance coverage.

It was not advertised that the pick up center was off site from the airport rental car facility and then I sat in line for over an over to pick up my car. I lost 2 hours of my trip dealing with waiting for the shuttle and standing in line of an understaffed counter. The worker at the counter was very kind, but it was very frustrating. I will not use nu car rental again.

They add "extra charges" such as airport fee, stadium fee, extra insurances, as mandatory but they are optional. I booked a car for $40 online and my bill was for $120 due to these hidden costs.

Despite taking my rental fee with a debit card, they would not release the vehicle to me. I was over 1,000 miles from home, at 0130 in the morning, and left without a vehicle. I was also told it could take up to 2 months for a refund. The gent with whom I dealt at the counter was kind and sympathetic, but the experience was unacceptable.

Everything about the service and price was acceptable. My spouse is disabled and struggles to walk long distances. Getting from the rental return to the airport terminals while disabled was an unclear process. We managed, but if there was something else we could have some to have a wheelchair available there, I didn't find it.
