Cons: The car we rented could have been cleaned better. Someone before us had smoked inside the vehicle so every time we got in that was the first thing we could smell. The windows were also pretty dirty and there was no windshield wiper fluid.
Pros: Drop-off was easy. Front desk staff was ok. I thought I was renting a jeep gand cherokee or similar and we had a mazda which was cramped for our family of 5.
Cons: The car was barely cleaned form the previous renter. Sunscreen smeared throughout the outside and interior of the car, including the doors, the seats and the dashboard. No floor mats were present. It did not feel like it was cleaned.
Pros: Followed friend to drop off rental at DFW, was literally stuck in lot with no way to get out for an hour. Security guard was no help, and he should have been at entrance to keep me from entering "return Lot". Had to find an agent at the counter to find someone to get us out of the lot.
Cons: Signs that say Do Not Enter unless you are returning rental and give the security guard access to open gate if someone is locked in.
Pros: We got a great deal on a MAZDA SUV. It was clean, comfortable & just the right size for driving & parking in smaller spaces. The return was very easy... much easier than the pickup!
Cons: We picked it up as ordered after midnight & the Payless counter was closed (which was pretty scary), but a sign directed us to the Avis counter on the lower level. After a short wait, we got the SUV, as ordered.
Pros: Very dissapointed. Arrived after 11PM as my reservation stated and no staff to be found, no indications to follow and no phone number to call.
Cons: Everything. Luckily competitors did had staff overnight and saved the day.
Pros: The staff was apologetic for the long delay. The drop off and shuttle were super easy!
Cons: Pick up line was over a 30-minute wait. Then when we got to our vehicle it didn't start (apparently the battery was dead) and I had to go back up to the original line to get another vehicle, taking another 15-20 minutes, because the line in the lot was 4 persons deep with problems as well.

Pros: Picking up the car from the counter was fast but finding the car was not. Staff never said that Payless was associated with Avis. If so I would have offered my Avis M9B300 member number.
Cons: To have rented us a vehicle with lower miles & not worn out. Car was dirty inside leaving little doubt that it wasn’t COVID 19 sanitized. Inside window dirtiest I’ve seen in years for a rental car being issued.
Cons: Coming to the center after hours was frustrating. Once i found my way downstairs to the massive garage, there were no guiding signs to find the 2 huts that remain open and nobody out on the floor to ask. Outside of that its pretty quick and easy. Give yourself 10-20 extra minutes for the shuttle transport to terminals. Vehicle clean and good condition. This trip they gave me a Hyundai Elantra. Having a lot of highway driving to do, i found it to be a gas hog and very sluggish. Lady week in another location I'd rented a Camry which was very nice.
Pros: Phoenix staff helped me get an awesome truck!
Cons: Honesty when locking up vehicle and assistance from them when there was an issue, needed up costing us a extra $350 Which I spent three days of my vacation trying to get reversed with no luck
Pros: Waited 2 hours in line to pick up reserved car. Upon return I was charged for fuel even though I filled the car up within 5 miles of returning it to the location. I put in a dispute and was told that I was charged correctly and had to provide documentation of gas.

Cons: Customer service is awful, they lie, and cheat you for extra money. Would never recommend them or use them again.
Pros: SUV was fine, service was horrible. Plus they overcharged my credit card and won’t respond about the overcharge.

Pros: Took over an hour and a half to get a car that was reserved days ahead of time. Waiting in line took almost as long as my flight.
Cons: A company that appeciates people's time is valuable.
Pros: The staff was friendly and the cars were very clean
Cons: I was doing interviews and needing to drive to each remote location. I was south of Tucson when the maintenance required message showed up. I had to drive back through Tucson to exchange the car which created a time crunch to be able to get to the interviews in time.
Pros: Aziz was the friendliest rental Agent I’ve interacted with. While friendly, he was still swift and got me on my way. He also seemed to have the same effect on the customer before me. This was one of the best experiences I’ve had and, while this may sound super sales-y, I will definitely look at Avis brands first when booking my cars from now on.

Pros: NO ONE SHOWED UP-- JUNE 29 in PHX! We had to wait 2 hours from someone from Budget to take us downstairs and start a new line. They had to search for ANY car at that point-- mine was dirty and unwashed, and was an ECONOMY, not a COMPACT

Cons: Overall good experience the only complaint is that they only had one customer service person at pick up and the line was extra long, with a long wait time
Cons: Waited in line for over an hour and the one and only guy working managed to check out 4 people. A manager came out and apologized for the wait and said they were doing all they could and then, instead of helping her employee, simply disappeared. Cancelled my reservation while I was in line and went elsewhere. In the time I booked a whole new car and left the building, Payless managed to help one more person. Don’t waste your time or money.
