- Roads in Orlando are generally catered to tourists, which makes navigation easy. Taxis in the city can get expensive and hotel shuttles to various parks can get crowded, depending on the season. If you plan to visit any of the parks or attractions, a hire car gives you the option of packing extra snacks, drinks, and other essentials without having to carry it on your person.
- Most major car hire companies are located on-site at Orlando International. They can all be found on the A-side and B-side of the Terminal on the Ground Transportation Level (Level 1). If you decide to use a car hire company that is not at the airport, most companies provide free shuttle transport from the airport to their off-site locations.

Staff lied to my face multiple times. Told me I was required to buy their insurance as well as their toll road pass. I pushed back for maybe 30 minutes saying it didn’t sound right and I didn’t want to. They wouldn’t let me finalize my paperwork without agreeing to it.Cons:

The front desk at pickup was terrible. Waited over an hour because their system had collapsed. They charged me over a hundred dollars over the quoted price on Kayak because the person claimed that even though I had chosen to use the insurance provided by my credit card specifically for car rentals, the “system” added the insurance coverage automatically and it was “take it or leave it” and after a 12 hour flight, customs, immigration a HOT shuttle to FOX and a a wait in line for over an hour, the choice presented by the rude customer “service” was just Insult added to Injury. Took the car for overpriced rental and an additional $200 deposit which is still to be refunded. Overall, I chose FOX over others for a supposed savings of around $80. Should have chosen another company. Just under a month before this rental, I rented from Alamo on sight at airport and they charged me what the website price was. Should have stuck with them but chose FOX for the $80 savings but at the end I paid over $200 more that I would have with other companies. Regret this experience probably like a tourist regrets picking up a girl in a shady Bangkok bar because at the end he doesn’t get what he expected and paid dearly for his mistake!!2,0 Poor

Not Orlando city somewhere pickup. Super frustrating and had I known this, I would not have rented through Kayak.
