Pros:The price ($200, including tax, for a five-day rental) was so tantalizing that I had to try Midway. I was a little weirded out by the shuttle service from LAX to the rental office (the name "Joe's shuttle service" does not inspire confidence), but once I got to Midway, everything went smoothly. I asked for a Toyota Corolla, but got a Ford Mustang convertible, which meant nothing to me, but everyone else I met on my stay in So. Cal. thought it was a sweet ride. Dropoff could not be easier. Highly recommend.
Cons:They didn't make it clear that you needed to go to the hotel pickup area at LAX to get Joe's Shuttle to take you to Midway car rental.

Pros:The car was clean and reliable! Also the staff was friendly.

Pros:The Mercedes I rented here was outstanding - beautiful, comfortable, and a pleasure to drive.
Cons:They don't prorate their rentals - I had to return the vehicle by 10am (the time of day I picked it up) or they would charge for an entire day, at a higher rate, rather than just the portion of the day I used it (like every normal car rental company). My flight wasn't until 3pm, so I returned it at 10, took the shuttle back to LAX, and was bored out of my mind. I missed out on enjoying a few more precious hours of my already-too-short visit to LA.
